Kerai's ears went down when she heard Rellick snap at Brazen. She walked up between Brazen's front legs, rubbing against them lightly. She looked up at Rellick, then looked at Briseis, then finaly she tilted her head up at Brazen.

Areli shifted her tail on the ground, as she glanced at Elli and Illi. "I wonder when Rackna will get back..." she murmured, more to herself. She just wanted to get back... so she could eat. She had no clue of the things going on else-where.

Briseis shyed away from Rellick and the rest gathered talking. She held her head up looking in the distance from where they came hoping to see signs of Rackna coming back, her tail swinging back and forth. Her ears erect, she sat down waiting. Dirt mustered itself inbetween the connection of her ears and head.

She's like me when I started out on my own... Brooke thought sadly, staring down at the pretty striped cub. She had gone through a phase, at the beginning, where paranoia had started to take over. Every slight sound, every strange face, seemed like a monster and a nightmare to her. And she had sought the protection of only one thing - a tangle of dried branches. It had been her 'home' for so long, until she had one day come upon it trampled and almost inexistent - the work of hyenas, most probably. From there she had traveled on her own, angry at all for her one sense of comfort being destroyed. And gradually, she had come to realize that nothing could hurt her if she didn't want it to. So she had learned. Learned to fend for herself, find food and scavenge when none was to be found.
And now, she was here. Still wary of anything she didn't know, but stronger, more confident. And here was this little cub who seemed to have adopted Rackna as her protector. She decided not to push it.

Rackna panted softly, his eyes scouring the horizon for any signs of more hyenas. He then glanced over in the direction in which the cubs had gone, and he prayed they were alright. Looking over toward Akin, he smiled slightly, a chuckled emitted from his mouth.
"No problem."
He told the silver King as he started to check over his injuries. His forepaw was bleeding, for the hyena had gotten a tight hold as he had swung. He somehow realized that blood was dripping from the corner of his mouth, and the bottom of his thick golden mane was stained red from clawmarks. Nothing major, which was good.
Solio's brow wrinkled as Tay-yibah spoke urgently, and she stood beside the cub. Her tail swung back and forth, low to the ground, and she nodded to the cub.
"Lead on, I shall follow."
She spoke, allowing the cub to take the path she chose, for Solio had no idea where Rackna had disappeared to.
Brazen rolled his eyes at Rellick, then he looked over to his sister, cocking an eyebrow.
"What, can I no longer smile at my sister?"
He asked, his face looking downtrodden. Of course, it was just play, for it changed back to a smile when he looked down at Kerai. He then glanced over toward Briseis, a concerned look flicking across his face.
"You okay?"

'If you want us, we'll be right over here talking, 'kay?' Brooke told the black-striped cub. She turned, throwing another glance at the cub. Turning away, she reached up and play-whacked Brazen's nose with her paw.
'I think she'll come over if she wants to. I used to be like her. If that was me, I would've attack you all by now, even if I knew that I was outnumbered. It's an instinct driven by paranoia, I think.' Brooke shrugged. At least, she had been like that. She had no reason to think this white cub should be too much different.

Kerai looked up at Brazen again, then looked at his siblings, then down to the ground. She nudged against his legs again, with a light sigh.

Akin nodded, a small smile on his lips. "It is good we did not fight."
Then he groaned, thinking of how Kichea was going to react to this. He didn't want to put any unneeded stress on the new mother.
The amethyst cub made her way to the two kings, plucking various grasses and flowers from the border of the kingdom. When she couldn't carry anymore she politely asked her adoptive mother to take some.
Tay-yibah dropped her bundle by the Silver King, turning to Rackna. "Congratulations, Scarlet King." She gestured to the bundle of herbs with a paw. "I can help you with your wounds."

"True."
Rackna said simply, turning his head to watch Solio and Tay-yibah as they approached. He smiled kindly to them, first to Solio, then to the cub, who seemed calm despite the hyena carcasses that littered the ground.
"Thank you dear cub, but I'm afraid I must go to see my Queen immediatly. Please, take care of Akin, if you would, for his new Queen would be terribly distraught to see him like that."
He nodded a goodbye, then set off down the path to where the hunting party had been, limping slightly as the sand rubbed against the injured paw. He should have waited, let her heal his wounds, but he had to see Elli. His eyes searched wildly about, trying to catch a glimpse of her pale green pelt.
Solio gently dropped the gathered herbs and flowers that she had been handed beside Tay-yibah as she spoke to the kings. Her ears perked as the cub mentioned something about healing them, and it interested her greatly. 'What kind of powers does this cub have...?'
"What was that for?"
Brazen asked curiously, his paw gingerly touching his nose after Brooke bopped him. He padded after Brooke, giving a final glance back at Briseis, who seemed terribly upset. He sighed, then looked down to Kerai, who was still under him.
"You can come out, ya'know. Sun's not that hot."
He said softly, his tone light and jovial.

Masae trudged into the pridelands, stopping every few feet to sniff the grass or air. She was tracking someone... someone very close to her. And she was sure that she was here... "Tay?" She called out hoarsly for her sister.

Kichea nuzzled her cubs, trying to sheild them from the chaos of the brawl. She had faith in Akin, he would come back to them, she knew. But what condition he came back in worried her. Would he be terribly beaten? She could feel her nerves rising as she waited for her mate.
Shairi pounced at her brother, Jayvyn, taking his tail feathers in her mouth. She purred softly as she pawed at her siblings, unawares of the whereabouts of their father.

Akin glanced down at the small cub, recognizing one flower as being one that Kichea had used on his earlier wounds. "Go ahead." He nodded to the other King as he left and submitted himself to the cubs treatment. He was impressed already.
The amethyst shaman nodded at her Kings words and went to work. She used her teeth and a good sized rock to grind the herbs into something like pulp. With a cleaned paw she applied it to the fresh and old wounds.
A few minutes later she sat back, licking her paws clean. "Done." The teal-tipped ears swiveled back, flakes vibrating. "Masae?"
"I will be back in a minute, Solio-mother." She placed the rest of the herbal medicine on a errant leaf and trotted off to find her sister. "Masae?"
Jayvyn murred, pawing at his sister. "Murrr!"

Masae's flecks twitched. Tay was coming to find her. She just knew it. It was... just something about the two of them. "Tay?" She called out again, coughing into her paw. She peered about with azure eyes, hoping to spot her sister.
Shairi smiled at her brother. "Want to play?" She asked before looking up at Kichea, eyes wondering if it would be alright.
Kichea smiled nervously. "I... don't see a problem with it.... just stay where I can see you..."

Kerai looked up at Brazen, finaly stepping forward from under him, but she still kept close to him, not sure what to think of the other lions.

Essence in an attempt at finding a peice of land for himself had wadered out of this father's territory and pride lands. It was not untill he was a good distance inside another that he knowtisted the different scents and dominate one. He sighed, This can not be good.... he thought. He was a young male on someone else's territory and he was not old enough to defend himself properly. Glanzing around he tried to figure which way he had come from and the best way to get out with out getting knowtisted by anyone. Though it was hard to hide such white furn as his...he woudl stand out form a long ways off.
