Patches did not like not knowing the people he braught onto his boat. He would have to confront the man when thy were alone is Rin did not tell him about who he was.

She just remained silent; truthfully she didn't like lying to Patches. He was worried enough about her, and Alric hadn't given her an excuse. So she just continued walking, her hand brushing against Alric's again.

Paches did not push the topic. He would after all gladly allow this stranger on board if it meant she would be there as well.
They arrived to his boat walking up the ramp to the deck. Patches looked up to see adwin and tristin waitin holding Taylor waiting for Rin's return.

When Rin walked onto the boat, Tristin's eyes got wide, and she instantly hurried over to her friend, wrapping her arms around her. It had been a while since she had seen her friend, and she was worried sick about her.
"Rin! Oh my god, you're back!"
Feeling her friend's arms around her made Rin feel safe, Rin hugging her back, sighing in relief at the warmness it brought to her. She could tell she had worried her friend, but enjoyed the feeling of relief she had brought upon her as well.

"look taylor...aunt rin is back"
Adwin stood holding their daughter as the two women embraced. It hadbeen a long time since tayor had seen rin.
Once on the boat, Alric stepped to the side..not wanting to be noticed he tried to blend into the background. Them seeing him would raise too many questions. Questions that neither him nor Rin were ready to answer.
Once onboard patches returned to the wheel telling Tom that as soon as their preperations and supplies were ready to leave. He wanted to get out to sea just in case Rin changed her mind and tied to leave.

Taylor looked towards her mom and Rin, eyes wide in curiosity as she noticed Rin.
Smiling, Tristin took Rin over to see Taylor.
"She missed you."
Smiling her normal smile, Rin put a hand on Taylor's head.
"She looks gorgeous."
After taking Taylor back from Adwin, Tristin told her friend of what had happened while she was gone, and how much she had missed her, asking her of her trip... when Rin didn't say anything, Tristin just allowed it to slide, wanting her friend to feel comfortable around her.

There was little conversation before th ship was ready to go. They left shortly after Rin had gotten on board. The crew was also excited to have fund rin. They had been going non stop ever since she had lef and they were weary from the long days.
Alric stayed close to Rin but also made sure to be as invisible as possible. He didn't want to be confronted...at least not yet.

Smiling, Iaens leaned against the railing beside him.
"So, how the hell did you survive?"
He said this quietly, not needing anyone else to hear; he knew that Rin knew. However, nobody needed to know this, not yet.
Watching the kid with Tristin and Adwin, she just gave them that smile she knew they all loved; Adwin would notice sooner or later it was semi-fake, but she knew it wouldn't be for a while. No, Patches would see it sooner, but she didn't think he would be paying attention to her right now.

Alric said in a low voice.Alric wasn't going to admit who he was to Ieans until he was sure he actually knew who he was.
Patches was happy to get going. He wanted to be somewhere he could keep an eye on her.

Sighing, Iaens showed how disappointed he was in Alric; he should know that he knew what to do.
"Alric, how did you survive?"
"I'm going to go off."
She just nodded to Tristin, going back over to Iaens and Alric, knowing Iaens knew who he was.

"Your body posture is exactly the same, you are wearing the same gloves you wore when you had grabbed Rin in the dance, and your voice. Do you really think an assassin like me wouldn't know?"
Iaens put an arm around Rin, smiling at them.
She wanted to go to her room, and tensed when Iaens touched her, looking at Alric.

Alric could do nothing but ask. If Iaens wanted t expose him he could do nothing to stop it. He just hoped he would see the changes in him and let him be.

He smiled, before giving Rin one last squeeze, giving her a smile.
"I'm really glad to see you again."
Then he walked off, back to Patches.
Standing there, Rin looked out at the water now, her face blank.

Alric was uncertain of the assasin. With how close he was to patches how could he truly be trusted. All Alric wanted was to stay close to Rin and protect her so she could fulfill her role in the future.
