Taeko smiled and bowed her head slightly in a slight thank you manner. She stuck her hand to her throat where her voice box would be and then shook her head.. Her eyes were full of pure honesty and then she mouthed the same word again. Ta eh ko.. motioning the letters that she silently mouthed with her hands and then pointed to herself. She then pointed at him with a questioned look on her face. She seemed to be more curious than scared after he pulled the blade away.

He glared coldly at her. Her name was Tah-Ay-Koe? That was at least how she made it look from the words she had been mouthing. Since she was mute, sign language would be a much more effective.
"How did you simply walk through my attack like that?" He signed to her, as fluidly as if it was his regular way of speaking.

Taeko looked a bit surprised that he was signing though she was quite happy because she could communicate a bit easier to him... She quickly signed.. Attack..? I was just reading this really good book that I just bought. I am sorry if I bumped into you. She smiled up at him her eyes seemed to be full of honesty. How do you make metal hold me? she added, her face was full of curiosity, almost like a curious kitten.

She was walking down the street reading and just happened to not be hit by the attack? She was either the largest idiot he had ever met, or the luckiest.
But to answer her question, "I am a metal man. Metal does as I command." To prove this, he held his arm up, and turned it into a blade. He placed it against her neck. "And now, for your demise," He said so calmly that it seemed like everyday business to him.
Two small metal hands appeared in front of her face. "Unless you can convince me to let you live," They signed.

Rolex smirked as a foolish hero tried to use electricity to zap him. He simply stopped time, flew over to him, and restarted time. Then he dropped down into an alleyway, running into an abandoned building to hide himself.
"Come on!" Sakura shouted, dropping into the same alley and barging through the door.

Blade arrived at the scene and saw the man confronting a random kid.
"And me with no powers..." he mumbled to himself, hiding in the shadows. He watched with a little interest, wondering why he didn't or hadn't killed this girl.
Kikyo was watching what was going on below, her face looking bored.
'This is pretty pointless...' she muttered, still watching. She couldn't help it. This was the first she had ever seen of her lifestyle other than her parents...

Taeko didn't seem so scared this time around that he put the strange blade against her neck. Instead she just smiled up at him somewhat happily. She signed once more, If you want to end my life go right ahead. There isn't anyone that will miss me. And besides, Death knocks on everyone's door. It was odd that she spoke so truthfully with such a smile on her face. What she signed clearly didn't match her face and yet it did.

 Mia poked her head out of the blanket when the sound of thunder invaded her ears. Cameron's mad I guess, she concluded as she looked around the room to see a fuming Cameron and a shirtless nonchalant Aaron. Wonder what he said to her...
"You know, even if I'm a super being, I'm probably going to be bed ridden for quite a while, so you guys don't have to sit and wait for me to get better," Mia mumbled in a quiet voice.

Cameron realized Mia would probably just want to be alone for while, considering it was only early afternoon. Cameron walked over to Mia and bent next to her on the couch, giving her a quick hug. "I'm going to come back this evening to check on you and make you some dinner Mia. Feel better." she spoke softly to the injured super hero before bringing herself to her feet. "See you around Aaron." she mumbled to him as she walked out of the home and flew into the air.
She arrived at her apartment and began to shove all of her things into a few tote bags. She had a few pieces of clothes, her super hero outfit, her toiletries, and her pillow case. Other than that, everything else had come with the apartment. She ended up with two very light bags. She was all packed for the next morning when she would be on the streets. Well at least I have some money for food she thought about the money she'd gotten from Aaron. She slipped under her covers and fell asleep quickly, knowing she'd be up in a few hours to fly over to Mia's.

Aaron turned to Mia, "Are you sure? I can stay if you want, but I'll also leave if you want. Up to you." he said, worrying slightly. It was true, she wasn't going to bet all better by the end of the day, but Aaron was worried. He frowned and tried to read from her face if Mia was in any pain.

Jet BrodyThat damn time-stopping power was getting on Zap's nerve. He was used to him zap them, they go BZZZT, then they fall down. Not this jumping around crap. This fight would call for him to fight smarter, not harder.
He hoped Sakura had a plan
He dived down and smashed through the door to the building, following in after Sakura and Rolex. He extended his hand, angling his fingers in slightly different directions, shooting bolts of lightning in different directions around Rolex's positions from each of them. He called it his "Super Shotgun". He hoped that if Rolex stopped time to move out of the one coming right at him, he'd accidentally step in the way of another.Rico Stexel
The metal from around her body started to drain back into Rico. He shook his head. "No, this day you shall not die. You have surprised and intrigued me, mortal. You may go," He signed back to her. "You are free to go. Return to your book, but watch yourself. You won't always be so lucky." He turned, walking away. He was done for today and was heading back to his home. The underground facility.

Blade was tempted to try and stop him, but knew he wouldn't last longer than two and a half seconds if he was lucky. He needed someone with a power of some sort. He decided a picture might do, so he took out Nali's phone, and held it up. He took a picture from his hiding spot of Rico.
Kikyo was now slightly interested in what was going on below. It had stopped so suddenly, she wasn't sure what was really going on anymore.

Roan yawned as he walked down the street. Getting ogling glances from a few girls as he walked by, his hands behind his head and the sound of heavy metal eminating from the earphones in his, well, ears... He had flipped a coin earlier and bet on which side he'd take today. Unfortunately for the hero's, it was his turn to be evil. He only did this every once in a while, but it seemed like a good day to do it, and hell, he needed to release some stress. The young man stopped in front of a building and yawned once again before a small flame ignited at the foundations of the building and found a heater. Soon, there was a large explosion and the building caught fire quickly. Roan's heavy metal continued to blare as he controlled the fire to spread quickly and even scorch a few people's clothing on the sidewalk. He malicious grin formed on his lips. The act was evil, but there was also good in it. The fire wasn't even touching the residents. They were basically in a small bubble which the fire could not reach. Roan liked arsen, but murder was another thing which he often avoided. If he was lucky, some heroes would show up and try to teach him a lesson like the good little tight-asses they were.

Cameron woke with a start as firetrucks sped past her apartment. She lept from her bed and raced to the window. She hung her head out into the brisk air and a heavy cloud of smoke filled her lungs. She spotted a fire a few streets down but she sensed something more serious was going on. She ripped off her pajamas and dumped her previously packed bags out. She slipped into her skimpy armor plates and snatched her sword from the floor, leaping out of the window and into the dark air.
She followed the trail of firetrucks to a scorching building. Her eyes flew around the scene, looking for criminal activity. She finally saw Roan standing near the building, consentrating on the fire. "What the hell are you doing?" she shouted to him aboved the roaring flames. She floated down to the ground near him and stood, waiting for his response and drawing her sword quickly.

Roan turned towards Cam, his hands still behind his head. His grin became a mere smirk as he gazed at the woman. "Fate brought this." He shrugged and laughed, leaning over a bit as he held his stomach. Such corny lines always made him giggle. "What'dya want anyway?" He said, bringing a pack of cigarettes from his coat and sticking on between his lips. He lifted his hand and his pointer finger, summoning a small flame to light his cig up. He released a plume of smoke and looked at the civilians, all gazing at Cam with her big, bad-a** sword. He looked back at the building and removed his cigarette from his mouth, holding it at his side between his index fingers. "What are you gonna do, babe?" he said, letting his eyes move to the side so he could see her.
