Shadows were easy to defeat. Xemnas took care of the ones that went after him. He waited for Jaxine to take care of her Heartless. Only one had disappeared.
“Pretty creepy.” Axel thought back at it. He wasn't sure if he liked seeing Xemnas from that perspective. The guy was emotionless! “Talk about a hypocrite.”
“Wherever they come from.” Luxord shrugged. He followed Myrthe. They could create a little fun here, while waiting for the Heartless to appear.
Nechax stumbled over some roots. The large cat chose then to jump out at him. Nechax hurried to get up and away from the jaguar.
“Yes ma'am.” Xathere began walking in a direction towards the market. The palace doors seemed to be locked. Nothing to see there.
Shaxirma entered the portal, coming out in a new world. She looked around the area. It seemed okay to her.
Without a word, Lexaeus left. Lars was no different than the day before.

Jaxine was able to hit a few of them multiple times. Even though they weren't strong, they were small. Made them a lot harder to hit than she had expected. She felt so weak compared to Xemnas right now.
"Ha, yeah! He obviously feels for her!" This made him think of something evil. "Perhaps we should try and see how much he cares..." He smirked at his own idea.
"For as far I can see, they come from nowhere." Myrthe laughed as she glanced around the place. "How boring!" She wanted to fight something! Test her new blade, which she figured out she had the day before.
Zexion thought for a moment as he saw the cat attack, then created an illusion of a wounded Nechax within the animal's sight. If he was lucky, the jaguar would fall for it and go after the illusion, making them able to either leave or kill the thing.
Marluxia closed the portal behind them as he glanced around the place. They weren't on top of the mountains yet, where the snow was, but they weren't inside of the village either. That would attract way too much attention. Shadow Heartless began to appear within a matter of seconds. Easy enough.
Lars sighed in relief, knowing the man probably wasn't told of what happened that night. He hid himself back under the covers, trying his best to not scratch his head. Xathere wouldn't be happy if he did.
Allayx stood there, waiting. She wasn't sure if anyone else still had to come to get there mission or if this was it. It was best to simply keep quiet and wait.

The Heartless eventually dissipated. The courtyard was cleared. “This way.” Xemnas led to the hole in the wall that everyone in the Organization knew about. It was much more stealthy to use than the doors. The Beast would know then that someone was in his castle. He was quite the opponent.
“What are you thinking?” Axel knew that look on Xigbar's face. Once again, an infamous scheme had come to the Freeshooter's mind. This was one Axel wasn't sure he wanted to get himself roped into. He wasn't even sure how he got himself spying on Xemnas the night before!
Just as Myrthe was walking by, a few Soldiers came into view. They scrambled to get to her, their armor clanking as they moved. Luxord decided that if Myrthe was so enthusiastic about fighting, she could handle it on her own. He had a hangover to nurse...
The jaguar looked at the injured illusion, beginning to circle it with a growl. The real Nechax crawled his way over to Zexion before standing up. It didn't appear that he was caught. “Thanks.” Nechax said to Zexion. He had only received a scratch on his arm.
Shaxirma summoned her katana, then charged at the Shadows. These were much simple than she had been dealing with! She did not expect this to last very long.
Finally having done that chore, Saix opened a portal to Traverse Town. There were some Heartless to take care of there, but it was highly dangerous to be spotted in that world. He was sure Allayx could handle that.

As the Heartless had disappeared, Jaxine made her weapons disappear for the moment and followed after Xemnas. It wasn't useful to leave them summoned the whole time. She was a bit surprised at the hole in the wall, wondering why it was there, but kept quiet. She wasn't in a very talkative mood today.
"Oh, nothing!" Xigbar kept grinning. Although he couldn't keep it a secret any longer. "We should force her into a fight she can't win and see if Xemnas will come safe her butt!" He chuckled at the idea, knowing that if their Superior did, he felt more than he wanted to admit. "But not just a normal fight! She should be kidnapped first so our leader can't find her." It was a nasty trick.
As soon as Myrthe saw the Soldiers she summoned her weapon. "Too bad I can't kill you with my teeth today!" She said as she lunged at the Heartless with absolutely no fighting skills. Just her craziness made her fight as she didn't saw the danger of it.
"We should leave now." Zexion said quietly, not wanting to alert the beast of their presence. He began to swiftly make his way out of there, being sure to let the illusion last long enough for them to leave.
Marluxia summoned his scythe as well, knowing that even if she could take care of them by herself, he still needed to defend himself. The Shadow Heartless split up, some going towards Shaxirma as the others went after the Graceful Assassin, who gladly destroyed them.
Allayx got the hint and went through the portal, even if she didn't know what they would have to do exactly. On the other side, she noticed they were in a pretty lively world. Even though the people couldn't be seen yet, there were a lot of buildings and lights were everywhere.

Once the mission was over, Xemnas would go to the Altar. He had some thinking to do again. It was one of those days where he would much prefer to be alone. He knew his plans went against that, but that wasn't the point at the moment as he led up the narrow staircase.
“You're crazy. And on your own with that one.” Axel warned Xigbar. If Xemnas cared for his apprentice, Axel did not want to be there when it all happened. He valued his hide, thank you very much!
Some Soldiers spun as they tried hitting Myrthe. Others were hit by her. Luxord rested against a giant plant. Any place was good at the moment. But the plant was not amused. “Do you mind?” It whined in a high pitch. The headache only made it worse for Luxord. He winced as he moved away. “Interesting place indeed.” He grumbled, finding a rock to lean on instead. At least it didn’t talk!
Taking a glance back at the jaguar as it clawed at the illusion, Nechax moved after Zexion. He did not want to be there when that illusion disappeared. Hopefully the jaguar wouldn't track them.
Shaxirma swung her long sword at them. The only diffculty with these were their height. They were shorter than the typical opponent of Shaxirma's. She had to aim low. Something she never did before.
Saix pulled his hood up as he closed the portal behind them. They were in an alley. He led the way into another back alley from there. This was usually how they got around this cityscape without detection.

Jaxine silently followed after him, her thoughts being somewhere else as well. She still felt upset thanks to what had happened, but wasn't going to show it. On the other side, she was glad she had been completely honest with Xemnas last night, and that he had accepted it.
"Fine, coward! I'll do it myself!" Xigbar was already planning it. Once Xemnas and the girl seperated today or tomorrow, he would grab her in the evening and take her away. Xemnas would surely notice and once he did... Xigbar smirked.
Myrthe was distracted by the talking plant. "Oh, hello there!" She sad happily, then got hit by one of the Heartless, making her stumble forward. "That was mean!" She said as she quickly got up to slash at the thing with her shiny blade.
When Zexion thought they were far enough away from the jaguar, he lost his focus on the illusion to make it disappear. The male then continued his search for the giant Heartless, wherever it was hiding.
Marluxia easily defended himself with his long scythe that could hit small targets easily. Most of them had been defeated by now, although he noticed Shaxirma having some difficulty with this.
Allayx didn't make a sound as she followed after him, understanding they couldn't be seen. At this moment, she finally understood why she had to destroy Heartless, and what those hearts were that floated up into the sky once they were defeated. She was glad she had found that book yesterday.
Larxene rolled her eyes once more as she followed after the girl . "Well, what do you make of it?" She asked annoyed, implying the girl had to do the recon while Larxene just watched. She already knew this world. Nothing new with it!
((We forgot about Larxene and Xathere as well, so I added them again. Sorry for anny spelling mistakes.. On my phone atm! ))

At the top of the stairs, there were some Mad Dogs waiting. Xemnas went ahead and attacked the first one, demonstrating his anger caused by two nosy people rather than talking about it. These were tougher than Shadows. One barked at Jaxine.
“Whatever man.” Axel waved him off. A shadow passed over them as something flew ahead. He looked up, but saw nothing. When he assumed it was nothing, a long, thin, and steel sword came at them in a series of slashes. Axel fell to the ground, trying to get a good look at who did it.
The Soldier disappeared. Then another one thought to claw Myrthe. Luxord continued to watch the scene. She moved to fast for his hangover. So he decided to fall asleep and hoped for the best.
Watching his step, Nechax found the terrain harder to maneuver than flat ground. He was a bit slower here because of that. Zexion seemed to have no trouble at all.
A few times the blade had hit the ground after swinging at the Heartless. Shaxirma started aiming for their heads. That was more effective as she slashed away at them.
Behind them, a Neoshadow appeared. Saix turned around at the sound. A strong opponent for Allayx, but he thought she could manage this one. He waited.
“It's crowded. When there's people around.” Xathere guessed, with the proximity of the buildings. She left the more obvious pieces of information out. She wasn't at all sure what to look for.

Jaxine didn't realize the bark was an attack as she was sent backwards. Gosh, that hurt! She immediately summoned her weapons, realizing this should be how the things fought. She ran forward and began to hit the thing, trying her best to hit the vital parts like Xemnas had taught her to do.
Xigbar saw the shadow as well but shrugged it off, until he suddenly found him on the ground thanks to a surprise attack. He glanced up to see a male with very long silver hair and a very long blade. "I think that's our target..." Now he understood why they got this mission.
Myrthe quickly turned towards the thing and hit it on the head with her blade. "That's not nice, you know!" She placed one hand on her hip as she glared at the thing.
Zexion noticed the boy having trouble making his way around, so he decreased his speed just to make it easier. He had been here more often and learned how to walk around in different landscapes. All of a sudden, Powermonkeys appeared before them. The Cloaked Schemer summoned his Lexicon and was prepared to attack.
Marluxia quickly took care of the last Heartless for her as he noticed inhabitants coming their way. "We should move." He said as he began to walk away towards the mountains.
Allayx quickly summoned her Keyblade as she noticed the Heartless. She leapt at it and quickly slashed down, not sure how strong this Heartless would be. A few more slashes followed immediately after as she was irritated already and in for a good fight.
"Of course, miss obvious!" Larxene sighed. What was the intelligence level of this girl? "Anything else?"

The Mad Dog squeaked while it was under attack. Another one bounded up to Jaxine and tried biting her. They were very much like rabid dogs. Then again, so were all Heartless. Handling his own opponents, Xemnas didn't notice how well Jaxine was doing. He assumed she was fine.
Gaining a moment to gather himself back up, Axel looked where Xigbar was looking. He groaned. Xemnas gave them a death sentence! “Nobodies. What are you doing here?” Sephiroth asked coldly as he let the two stand up. “Doesn't matter.” He lept at them. Axel jumped out of the way, summoning his chakrams. He was already thinking of escape routes.
The Soldier didn't care. It went for another attack. “Are we having fun yet?” Luxord muttered to himself. He certainly wasn't.
Nechax's long sword appeared. He jumped at the monkeys, swinging at them as best as he could. But they moved pretty fast.
Following Marluxia's orders, Shaxirma glanced at the people coming their way. They looked harmless. But if they saw mentor and student, they would probably not take the mysterious figures as harmless, too. Their black cloaks did not assimilate into crowds.
The Neoshadow clawed at her before melting into the ground and moving away. It tried circling around Allayx. Had there been more of it, this maneuver would have been more successful. It came back up behind her.
“I don't think so.” Xathere couldn't find anything else. The area was self-explanatory. Anyone could figure it out. There was nothing special to it, really. Just a marketplace.

Not having noticed that second one coming at her, Jaxine was bit in her leg. She let out a small noise of pain, then kicked the thing away from her. Who said they could only use their weapons, right? The girl quickly went back to hitting the first one, knowing it'd be easier to fight one at the time than more at once.
"Just hangin' out. What're you doing here?" Xigbar asked, but it was already too late. The man already atacked them. Xigbar teleported out of the towards somewhere in the sky and began to shoot at Sephiroth.
Myrthe held her blade in front of herself and hoped the attacks didn't hit... "Yes! Can't say that about you though!" She replied happily, trying to think of a way to cheer him up once she was done with these Heartless
Zexion stayed on the sidelines as most Powermonkeys went after the boy. He would aid his apprentice in battle by firing spells at the Heartless so now and then. His book wasn't much of a close range weapon.
Marluxia increased his speed as he thought the people were getting way too close. "We should hide behind the mountain until they passed." He explained as he did exactly what he just told her to do.
Allaxy got hit by the claw attack, making her do a few steps back as her arm seemed to be bleeding. She shoke it off as she noticed the thing being behind her. Spinning around swiftly, she began to hit it once more, aiming for the head as that seemed the most fragile part. Meanwhile, she tried her best to keep the Darkness under control, although she wasn't sure for how long she would be able to do so.
"You really are stupid." Larxene let out an exasperated sigh as she quickly made her way towards the cave of wonders. Perhaps they could find anything there, although she was quite sure it had been destroyed. Who cared? They would simply report back with "nothing changed"!

The noise caught Xemnas' attention. He finished off his target, and moved to keep some of Jaxine's Heartless occupied until she was finished with the first one. Then he observed again. She was still new at this, he had to remind himself, so he couldn't expect much.
Axel began to throw fire at Sephiroth. They had a small chance, if they worked together. With targets in two different directions, Sephiroth dodged Xigbar's arrows and Axel's fire swiftly. He flew to attack both repeatedly with slashes from his sword.
Luxord groaned. This world was too colorful at the moment. It made his eyes strain all the more. And Myrthe was talking too loudly. The Soldier could not get past the blade as it blocked.
Nechax swung at the monkeys. It was weird how the Heartless looked like animals, to him. Freaky animals. To think this was how Organization XIII lived. Nechax never thought anyone led this type of lifestyle.
“Yes.” Shaxirma agreed. She hurried to get up to the mountain. If they tried to blend in, this wouldn't be an issues. But they needed their coats to pass through the Darkness. Although they had no hearts, so there was nothing to worry about.
Again the Heartless melted to the ground and moved around some. But it waited to come up this time. Saix watched patiently. Neoshadows were tricky. How Allayx would handle them on her third day would show just how strong she was.
“Sorry.” Xathere mumbled, hurrying after Larxene. The way they seemed to be going was broken down. It wasn't really a route in the city. But it was something the Organization knew about.

Jaxine was glad to see Xemnas came to help her, even if she wanted to prove to him she could handle this much by herself. Finishing off the first one as quickly as possible she went on to the next, this time trying to fight two at a time.
Xigbar quickly teleported out of the way of the slashes, shooting arrows at the male whenever possible. He had to watch out though, as reloading made him vulnerable for a few seconds. Sora had even used that to his advantage which ended in the Freeshooter's defeat! That wouldn't happen again.
Myrthe hit the thing on its head again once the Heartless was done clawing at her, but this time she hit it multiple times there, hoping to do enough damage for the thing to disappear. It was being mean to her! "Can I cheer ya up somehow, Lux?" The girl asked curiously while keeping her eyes on the Heartless. She didn't like her partner's depressed behaviour.
Zexion did some stronger spells as he wanted this battle to be over with. They had to find their target, not waste time on less powerful Heartless that were unimportant at the moment. Defeating them wasn't going to help them anything. The five Powermonkeys that still stood surrounded Nechax.
Marluxia soon was out of sight of the people, who passed like nothing happened at all. This had been an inconventient interruption, although he was quite sure there would be enough Heartless to find and fight here.
Allayx waited patiently for the Neoshadow to come up again, holding her Keyblade tight and not losing focus. The thing seemed like a tricky Heartless that could kill you if you just looked away for one second. As soon as it formed in front of her, the thing tried to hit the girl with its claw, but she blocked it and pushed the thing backwards.
"You better be!" Larxene responded, in her head thinking the girl was even more stupid to apologize for that, instead of giving a nice comeback. They walked through the hot desert, making Larxene groan. This was one of her least favorite places ever!
(( I took control of the Neoshadow for a moment, hope ya don't mind. And when writing for Xigbar I had to think about one of his battle quotes. xD : "R, for reload!" ))

Jaxine's strategy was not a wise one. Of course, if she didn't go after the two Heartless at the same time, one would take advantage of being ignored. She was still not in a good predicament. The Mad Dogs got hit together as they stood side-by-side. One fell over on its back. The other jumped away from Jaxine.
Throwing his chakrams, Axel left himself exposed to attacks. Sephiroth went between him and Xigbar, flashing back and forth as he attacked with his sword. Fire had little effect on him. Sephiroth didn't seem to mind it! “Any bright ideas?” Axel yelled to Xigbar. Probably not.
The Heartless disappeared after Myrthe's last attack. They would have to move forward, but Luxord was not interested in doing that. “Did I get anything last night?” It would make Luxord feel a lot better if he knew he did....
Nechax attacked one, turning his back to the others unwittingly. He thought to take them each out at a time, but didn't count on being attacked too.
Shaxirma watched the people pass. They had no idea of what was really going on. They probably didn't know there were other worlds beyond this one.
Taking the upper hand of the fight now, Allayx blocked instead of attacked. That was unexpected, and actually impressive. Though Saix did not show his thoughts on that. He kept watching the fight. It was different to go on a mission and not fight himself.
The desert seemed very still. Xathere followed Larxene silently. This world couldn't be that big. This mission couldn't take that long to finish. There was little fighting. Just recon, after all...

Jaxine went to hit the one that fell on its back, knowing that would be a better target than the other one. However, she kept on her guard for when the second one chose to attack her, which would surely happen as she was concentrating on slashing at the first one.
"I'd say we just get out of here! It's not like fightin' him is going to help anything!" Xigbar shouted back as he reloaded, being sure to quickly teleport out of the way of any attack.
Myrthe giggled at the question as her cheeks got a bit red. She remembered what he had asked her to do last night, but she had refused it. "All you got was a good conversation and lots of alcohol." She went to the rock Luxord was leaning with a smile, her sword disappearing. "But you can get a hug if you want! Perhaps a kiss, if you're nice!" Her cheeks got even redder, but she didn't mind.
As the Powermonkeys began to attack the boy, Zexion could facepalm right there and then. Wasn't it logical those things attacked as well? He jumped forward and casted a Stop spell, hoping to distract the Heartless long enough.
"We should move on." Marluxia said as he began to walk into the opposite the direction of where they came from. He didn't want to take the risk of bumping into another group of people.
Allayx blocked another one of its attacks, then immediately went forward to stab the thing as it was taken off guard. She wondered how long those things would last, not planning on looking stupid for taking too long.
They soon reached the cave, making Larxene happy to realize she would be freed from the awful sand. It didn't only make walking annoying, but it also got in her clothes and hair. The Savage Nymph had to take a shower as soon as she got back. "Make sure you don't get lost." Larxene stated as she jumped into the mouth of the cave. "Then again, you'd only make me happy with doing so! One less thing to worry about."
(( I have no idea why Myrthe is suddenly a bit flirty, but I can see her doing it for some reason. o.o; She's still just happy and innocent sounding anyway. I don't think she's seriously planning on ... getting serious. xP ))

The one on its back eventually disappeared after a few hits. It was just enough time for the other to build up an enormous bark to disable Jaxine with. Xemnas stayed back, not wanting to make this easy for her. He thought about stepping forward, but only when she absolutely needed it.
“Well you're the fast one! You make the portal!” Axel used more fire to try to block Sephiroth. He just went through it. Anymore of this fast pace action, and Axel would probably puke and die right there. Luxord wasn't the only one suffering a hangover. He just had it worse because he drank more.
Grinning at her proposition, Luxord forced himself up. He now sat on the rock. “When have I ever been mean to you?” He pulled her down to his lap in a hug. This definitely helped the hangover. “Now, about that kiss...” He suggested in her ear. Her blushing was cute.
Nechax was thrown down by the attacks. Then the monkeys suddenly stopped. Zexion had done something to them. Instead of finishing them, Nechax turned to his master. “How did you do that?”
“Are there many people here?” Shaxirma asked. This wasn't like a cityscape. In fact, this world was quite rural from what she had seen so far. If anything, people would be more spaced out in location.
It was clear that Allayx was winning this battle now. Saix began to look out towards the street, to where else they could go on this mission. This would be over soon. The Neoshadow took the attack, now on its last legs. It jumped around Allayx some more. Had it any brains, it would have run for its life.
The cave looked very suspicious. Xathere gave it another moment before following Larxene down into it. For all she knew, she was being eaten by a giant cat. But the jaw never closed behind them. “Okay.” Xathere squeaked out behind Larxene. She didn’t have anything to help with staying together. She doubted Larxene would try very hard on that, too.
((Luxord wants to be serious.... just serious enough to get what he wants. XD))
