He didn't even think. He just fought, it was the desert all over again, at least in his mind, he ignored the things flailing, ignored the ice, ignored everything but the attack at hand. He trusted Harrison had it covered, the other man knew how to do his ******** job and do it well, it was up to him to do his as best he could.
But it was ridiculously hard without the range he really wished that Tracey had, but at least he managed to make a dent.

"SON OF A b***h." Robert had already gotten his second wind, but he thought the worst was over when Jordan had landed safely on the ground. NOPE. Apparently, Jordan was japanese porn bait. Robert didn't want to think about what that meant.
He just went for a tentacle, mindlessly hacking away.

Ryan cursed when the tentacle struck back. He tried to stop it, but the force of it knocked him back, clearing the path for a direct hit on the death trainee.

The tentacles had chunks out of them, and two had already slapped, amputated, onto the ice. The muscles still curled and spasmed and reached, and the last one was taking Jordan back and back and back...

There were other people attacking the tentacles right and left, but once again everything just paled to insignificance. Most of the time Rep had the shortest ******** attention span in the world, but when it came down to fighting it was surprising. And now he was /aware/ of where he swung, concious that he didn't have to constantly try to cover all angles. He just had to chop this ******** thing down.
Which he did, with a satisfying thunk as Tracey met tentacle flesh.

Jerry wobbled, blearily smiling at Wash as he moved to cover him. How nice Wash was a nice man, yeah, right mission, right... Floating and disjointed, Roar was swung around, once more blasting into the flailing tentacles even as the hunter was sent reeling once more from their spiky blows.

The harpoon was gone. They still had four left, but that one had been fully charged!
Also it looked like Jordan was free, so Deryk went ahead to strike something else to try and charge Tooley up. He managed to stab into something but was soon knocked off his feet afterwards. Groaning, he slowly pushed himself back up. He was starting to not feel so great right now.

A single tentacle quietly slipped up through the ice and curled around Robert's thigh. The OOC Robert is being bad touched for 4 damage! The tentacle has 10 hp! Auto-Damage is 4!

Aw, it was an itty bitty baby tentacle. But it was tangled all around Robert, and he was for Petra ONLY, so it had to go. Madison sawed at the end of it, trying to detach it, but there was a bit of gristle or something that made her unable to get through it?!

Sherry got up off the ground in time to see the tentacles grab one of the Hunters, again. Seriously?! This thing was quite determined. Her fellow hunters made short work of the tentacles, though...it seemed the beast wasn't ready to stop molesting people.
Armagnac was delighted when Sherry moved to help free Robert. Unfortunately, she tripped over a chunk of icy snow. Sorry Robert, it gets to keep you a bit longer.
