Demyx blinked a few times before latching onto Luxord in a rather tight hug.
"Thank you daddy!"
Being told he was important...it was wonderful really. The little water mage hardly thought he was important in the world, and to find out others in the world thought he was was a great feeling.
"I love you..."
He purred, nuzzling his head into Luxord's robes before pulling away.

Kaleb didn't know what to say, in this case any advice he could give wouldn't be backed by experience. "Perhaps just his way with new people," he started hesitantly, "like how I'm nervous."
Wow, this kid was good. "I guess you could be right, Kaleb. But I think he might have wanted your company all for himself." She moved over and whispered in Kaleb's ear her thoughs on why Luxord -really- wanted Felicia to stay away. Most of it involved getting Kaleb and Demyx naked and alone. But she didn't go into detail.
Kaleb blushed at the things he was being whispered, and he nearly tripped over his own feet once. Hearing those things was one thing, but hearing them applied to oneself was a completely different story. "Th-that can't be it," he said, shaking his head and trying to keep his hands from fidgeting in front of him.
"I don't know hon, he seemed awefully clingy to that other boy and yourself. I'm sure if I didn't snatch you away when I did you'd be in some bathroom by now being tormented like some sort of boy-toy." Of course again, she failed to mention she'd thought of the same thing before. But Kaleb didn't need to know that, did he?
Kaleb's blush grew deeper, and he tugged nervously at the long sleeves of his shirt. "I-I don't think I would describe it as clingy..." he trailed off, adjusting his glasses once his nerves had grown tired of sleeve-tugging.
Luckily he caught sight of the pet shop, and he glanced over to see if Felicia had also noticed it. Maybe she would get distracted and forget about their current topic of conversation.
"I wouldn't put it past him, hon. He looks like that kind of person." She shrugged pushing the topic aside for now.
She smiled as the pet shop came into view. "There's are stop! After we pick up my little pet, is there anything you'd like to do?"
Kaleb shook his head, they had already visited the bookstore, and aside from that there wasn't anything in the mall that could hold his interest.
Then his stomach rumbled, loudly, and it seemed to catch him off guard quite a bit.
Felicia lead Kaleb into the pet store, giggling as his tummy growled. This was too good of an opportunity to give up. She tickled his stomach and giggled louder. "Is sweet little Kaleb getting hungry? Shall I take you out to dinner afterwards?"
Kaleb had intended on replying, but it came out as a bit of a squeak as he was tickled for the second time that day. He squirmed out of her reach and tried again. "I-I didn't think I was hungry," he said, wrapping his arms protectively around his stomach to ward off future tickles.
Felicia 'aww'-ed at him. "Well your tummy says different!" Strolling up to the counter, she conversed with the shop keeper again and was handed a small pet carrier. "Okay Kaleb! Lets go get some din-din!"
Kaleb frowned, wearing an almost petulant look for a second. He was well aware that he looked much younger than he actually was, but he didn't need to be babied. He pushed the irritability away quickly, it wouldn't help anything.

"It is nothing to be thanked for. The truth needs no thanks." He chuckled as he watched Demyx.

Demyx grinned up at him, tail swishing.
"So...where's that store we're looking for?"

"I believe what we are looking for is that way." He had seen what he though was a sign that looked promising down the ways a little so that was a good place to start

Grinning, Demyx bounced on ahead of Luxord to find the store.

He laughed as he picked up his pace to keep up with the bouncing Audio.

It was a matter of moments before Demyx found the correct store, and once there he wasted no time going inside. He knew he should have probably waited for Luxord, but he didn't want to sit still and the shop was far too interesting anyway. Skittering around, the little Audio quickly looked and touched everything he could find.

Felicia gave Kaleb a light pat on the back. "Aww, don't look like that, I was just being fun with you. If you want, I can treat you more like a manly-man?" She nearly bust out laughing at the thought, but did well to control most of her giggles.
It wasn't long before they found their way to the food court and an empty table. "It really did empty out here didn't it?"

Kaleb's irritated expression almost returned. He was nothing more or less than himself, and he always did best when treated as such. He quickly put his mind on other things once they reached the empty table, primarily what he was going to eat.
"It did," he agreed as he scanned past the empty tables to see what food stores this mall had.

Luxord walked in a few minuets later and nodded to the shopkeeper. Slowly he made his way though the store peering at dice and cards and beign as picky as he could possibly be

Luxord had a few moment's peace before Demyx came skittering up and latched to him with a happy squeak.
"Find anything you like daddy?"
Purring and tail swishing around excitedly, Demyx hardly let the older blonde reply before skittering around him to look at more things.

He had picked up a few dice and a deck of cards. "A few things .... is there anything you want? something shinny perhaps?" There were jars of glittery and shinny dice and who knows, Demyx might like ne.

Demyx's attention focused on Luxord a moment before being drawn to a jar of particularly shiny dice. Skittering over to it, the little blonde was quick to press his muzzle against the jar and stare in at the dice.
"Oooooo....."

"Yes. If there is something you want then you are more than welcome to get it." He picked up a die that was used for table top games used to pick the way of someone's death when you were being lazy.
