Yamino Tenshi Ivy-chan Well, that explains Charlie. xd Charlie: I bought them out. 3nodding You got Charlie's motivation, she's rather obvious. I noticed you didn't say anything about Adrian. Is he that hard to read? Well... even I don't get him half the time. XD: Sofie wants to be recognized for her achievements without people saying "Wow, isn't it amazing that a little blind kid could do that." She wants people to stop seeing everything she does in those terms. Also, she resents her body quite a bit more than she lets on, so it annoys her when people comment on her "cute looks." She thinks its patronizing and reminds her of the superficial people her parents associate with. After all, she only looks a certain way because her parents dressed her up like that, it doesn't feel like a compliment to her.

I'm not sure if it's fair for me to join in on this discussion, since I have the entirety of everyone's profiles and backgrunds and therefore am in possession of information that other people don't have.
...That said, I think Star Trek Geek was harboring secret plans for world domination.

Ivy-chan ...That said, I think Star Trek Geek was harboring secret plans for world domination. OH HO HO HO! If only you knew! twisted *plays Demonic 3-D chess* And now, MORE THEORIES!And I did forget Adrian, didn't I? Actually, I had to think about him. I think he has a dark, dark secret! XD And has self-protection issues. Beyond that, your guess is as good as mine! I think Isaac is secretly a woman. I think Piet lusts for a threesome with Maarten and Isaac. I think Cori wants Star Trek Geek in her inner circle, but is afraid to approach him due to his cleverly subtle techniques, and suave mannerisms.

I think Gregor's grandmother would be happiest if he was in a bubble, filled with marshmellows for extra cushioning.

Okay. This is a serious question: who thinks it would be best to simply end the RP? It's been a good two years and I enjoyed playing with everyone here, but it looks like somewhere along the way, everyone has just lost interest.

Well, it'd certainly be sad to see it go, but if that's the way it is, then so be it. Been a lot of fun.

HAS UTENA TAUGHT US NOTHING???!!! scream GIVING UP LIKE THIS? NO WAY. I AM NOT STANDING FOR IT!
*picket sign/protest*
REV-O-LUTION! REV-O-LUTION! REV-O-LUTION! THAT IS WHAT THIS GUILD NEEDS!
A bit of marketing and ad compaigns in other forums and guilds, with a little bit of direction will get this place going again.
I've been in a Gundam rp (and mod) for 7 years... SEVEN YEARS!! We've had our slow times, but there's always one thing that pulls it through. A solid and concrete story-goal with a handful of dedicated roleplayers. We've got all that right here.
I think we should re-assess the guild, the story, the characters and the roleplayers. Then construct a really solid plot-goal and drive the entire rp towards it. I know every characters got their own stuff going on (like personal, and everyone's got their story to tell) but as a whole it feels like... I sometimes picture these loose strands floating around without any real direction. Maybe it's because of the inconsistancy or infrequency of the posts, or the turn-over of characters/roleplayers.
When I've been the mod of an rp thats gone really snail-trail on me, I come up with a conflict of some kind and drag all of the characters in it then push the story along with my catalyst characters forcing everyone to follow and keep up, or crash and burn by getting left behind.
I think we need some sort of revolution. Let's not start over the story, but start a new day, or a new week, or a new month, a new semester. whatever. Just fresh, with the dedicated rp'ers and the character we have now. Let's weed out the leftovers. Rp'ers should really define what they want for their characters in terms of the story and let's pool suggestions to see what direction we want to take this rp. Let's have more duels, more conflicts. I feel like not all the characters even really *know* eachother yet. Nevermind this awkward introduction stuff, lets get to the real meat and bones, lets get some drama, some fights, some conflicts, some romance, some action. Let's do it!
Even if we get a whole new cast of roleplayers + characters, it wouldn't generate what we need. I think it would just be a temp solution, and who's to say the newbies would stay? The trend with the new ones seems to be "I came, I saw, I post, I left."
It's been good rp'ing here, usually I dont stay with rolepalys that start to fade-out, but we've got a good thing going, we just need a little revamp.
