"Oh, I'm so sorry Sunrise." Melony let Sunrise cry more. Everyone needed to cry every once in a while. "I say we should get back at that girl, she was horrible to you."

"N-no, I just want this all to be over with," Sunrise said quickly, raising her head back up. She didn't include the fact that she meant much more than just her little spat with Valerie. She'd meant literally everything. School, parents, life itself sometimes...

Melony shifted a little and looked at Sunrise. "Is there more to this?" Her eye caught on a tall black haired boy who was watching them from a distance. Melony looked at Sunrise again.
Sirius leaned against the wall near Franki and watched the two other girls who were away in a distance. Guess I don't want to do something like that around Melony! He watched them for awhile and then sat down again.

((Ok, Franki is about to make Sirius really uncomfortable if he's like the guys at my school))
"So, are you and Melony going out yet?" Franki asked casually sliding down the wall. She looked over at him, waiting for the obvious answer. She knew the answer was no considering the way Melony had acted before in the girls' dorm.

Sirius slid off the wall. He stood up again and smoothed his robes and gave a shaky laugh. "No! Why did you think she called me Black?" He stared a little at the other two girls down the hall. He added very quietly, "I wish."

Sunrise wiped her eyes. "It's just...everything Valerie said was true. The only reason anyone was friends with me in my first year was because Dean was my brother. He was the cool kid. After Dean graduated everyone started to hate me. You're the first person to really talk to me since I was in second year, besides Dumbledore, Pomfrey, and Flitwick too. I had a few problems with depression over the past few years so I had to be constantly monitored in case I tried to harm myself."

"Oh my- Sunrise, I don't see why people would hate you. You're a great person and you have a good personality!" Melony felt some guilt. because over the years, Gryffindors in their year did have classes with Ravenclaws sometimes. Melony never even thought about Sunrise really.

"It's not even people hating me, it was just...Dean," Sunrise said, her voice sounding thin and brittle as if she had aged a hundred years. Her gaze was now tearless and blank, staring forward at the wall. "My parents are just so...indifferent...now that Dean's gone. He was their life, the golden boy. He never did anything wrong."

Melony tried to think of ways to cheer Sunrise up. "No one is perfect. You know what you need? Butterbeer from the Three Broomsticks!" She stood up. I'm going to need their help though...!

"Well, I just figured from the way you look at her. It seems like you really like her," Franki said, standing up, coming a few inches shorter than him. She smiled. "Maybe I'm wrong, but you never know."

"But e have class!" Sunrise, always the Ravenclaw, protested only half-heartedly. She stood up with Melony anyways, feeling like she just might need to be cheered up a bit.

Sirius looked at her confused. "What?" A paper zoomed by his head and landed on the door. Sirius read it out loud for all. "'I'm very sorry class, but I have a terrible stomach ache today. No class today, truly sorry Mr. Snape and Ms. Evans! Sincerly, Professor Horace Slughorn.'" Sirius smirked at the last bit about Evans and Snape.

"Great! Now we just need help from a certain guy who I'm sure will help you!" Melony smiled at Sunrise and they started to walk back to the classroom door. "Oh see! No class!"

"Well, you do look at her with that longing that you don't look at other girls with. Oh, well, if there's no class, I've got to get to the library. Stop by if you need to talk to me," Franki said and towards the Entrance Hall.
