Sara was about to answer Doragon wen Jake came around. She looked at him and said,"I kinda fiugred that. I would love to meet him, but I don't want to die. All I want to do is help Lucus become real." She looked at the Old House and thought about how desperate the butler had to be for him to kill people.

Nali was startled when Lucus asked her about the tree. "oh this "she said, finally getting a hold on reality "i never look at my calender or remember to marks stuff on it, so this is how i keep track of certain events that happened. this is a tree that i started the day after Sara went into the house, and it says she has no more days left"

Jake shrugged,"Well he says that if he doesn't get you it's your closest friend who comes so they can tell him all about you.Besides,you don't die,you get freed,you can do everything you used to be able to plus fly." he flew into the air,did a loop-de-loop and landed,smiling even broader.

Lucus looked at Nali and then the tree. He counted the marks and then counted them again. He was in a moment of shock and grimece.
Sara looked at Jake and said,"What if my best friend is alreay dead?"

Jake smiled,"That's the beauty of it!If your best friend is already dead,no one dies!But The Butler will be here until everyone in town is dead.If they tear it down,he'll take control of whatever they build over it and all the souls he collects won't go to heaven until the whole town is dead,when he can go to heaven."

Sara smiled lightly as she heard the first part of what Jake said. She ddn't even catch the last part and started to mutter to herself. Then she came a to a problem as she mttered things. She turned to Jake and asked,"What happens if I bring my best friend to life? Will he die again?"

Jake's face drooped,"If you bring your friend back to life,I won't leave Earth for a longer time.If you bring someone back to life,it takes a long time for the Butler to track them down and kill them again,he got one that had been brought back to life,it gives the subject a longer life,that had been avoiding him for 100 years.Sara,listen to me,if you bring your friend back to life,you'll be hurting more generations of people,in fact,I know this sounds amazingly crazy,but you should actually be herding people into the house for parties.I mean it!Before I came to see you,I met a woman that had been there for one thousand years!What you're about to do will affect people hundreds of years from now!!I won't go to Heaven for a long time if you bring that person back to life!" he warned her.

Sara was feeling bad now and almost wanted to kill herself. As she thought the horrible thought she saw the butler and it looked as if he knew exactly what she was thinking. It kinda scared her. She turned away from him and Jake and pulled out a knife. She looked at Doragon and said,"Please don't be mad with me." With that she ran off into a darkened ally. She positioned the knife to go between the space in her ribs and hit her heart.

"Hmm. . . I can see why she did that, and really, life is good, but if we can do everything we used to do, plus fly, shouldn't we be able to still live normal lives after we've become a ghost? Since she killed herself will she still become a ghost?" Doragon asked, looking at Jake.

Jake felt very,very bad now,he didn't want her to commit suicide,buut even if she did,she would complete the curse.He looked at Doragon,"If she kills herself,yes.She would complete her part of the curse.And yes I can live a normal life.So can she.There's a whole other world in the house.It's a combination of all the time and fashion eras from the early 1900's til now."

Sara over heard Jake and pulled the kinfe into her. It slid easily past her ribs and to her heart. She fell to the ground as the blood leaked out of the wound. To make sure she died she pulled the knife out and let herself bleed.

Jake watched as Sara's ghost slipped out of her body.He ran forward and hugged he,"Sorry,that surprised me to." he said smiling.The Butler smiled,"Hello,I am the Butler." he said.Jake whispered in Sara's ear,"If he scares you don't worry,he still gives me the creeps."

Sara flinched at Jake's hug, but giggled at it after the shock wore off. She then looked at the Butler and gave him a scared and nervous smile. She would've liked to say,'Yeah. I know. I've seen you around.', but he scared her too much. She then noticed her dead body and looked at the whole in her chest.
