Oh wow how did you know? haha. I'm near sighted. I wear contacts mostly but sometimes I wear glasses (usually at night when I go to bed). I think that may have something to do with it. Thanks for telling me! whee

And it happens without the glasses too. I think I just need to sleep more often. I don't get enough sleep for myself.

Now I need to go...again. My dad is going bowling while I go to the gym. I wanted to run earlier today but it's so windy out here. urg

And I already voted but now my dad needs to vote. It sucks for him because they never remember his voter registration since we moved 4 years ago. ugh, he should have used those absentee ballots instead. Oh well.

oh man. i need glasses myself. but i haven't done anything about it despite having noticed the situation for years.

i'd much rather have contacts, honestly, because i know i'd lose glasses basically all the time, or break them, or look like a douche in them.

Sevi - Just a good guess. =D

pg - I have both. Although the prescription on my glasses is old and I need to buy some new ones. They're also butt-a** ugly because they're from high school and my mom wouldn't let me get the ones I liked. rolleyes

I thought I'd have issues with losing or breaking my glasses, too, but I don't. If I had a pair that weren't hideous I'd probably wear them more than contacts. I'm always running late for everything. And my contacts never ******** want to go in. They'll turn themselves inside out twenty times or I'll put them in backwords which hurts like a son of a b***h or a million other things. I've taken to grabbing my galsses so I'm legal to drive, then taking them off when I get where I'm going and walking around half-blind.

He'll have to prove himself with actions in actually fixing things then just his colourful words.

Prop 8 is worrying me though. sad

Regardless of his policies, I'm incredibly happy that someone inspirational like Obama has become our next president. Our people need a LEADER, someone to look up to. And after last night's speech, I have no doubt that we have one. Being able to motivate people into their responsibilities and civic duties, like he did - that's really special.

I'm psyched right now. Even if you didn't like any of the candidates over the past year, we're standing on a historical landmark, and that in itself is something to be proud of. How many doors have been opened because of this year? Whether you're male or female, rich or poor, regardless of your ethnicity, and eventually when we can look past sexual orientation and religion - everyone who's qualified and deserving will have an equal opportunity.

And speaking of equal opportunities, I'm nervous about prop 8 too. I haven't turned on my TV today. t___t

I can't stand all of the fear-based advertising that's been put out there, especially the use of innocent faces of children to battle gay marriage. It's sickening.

To whom it may concern: Audiosurf just had a pricecut of 75%. It's only $2.50 on Steam now.

Got a new journal entry on spending cash on gaia up: http://www.gaiaonline.com/j/?mode=view&post_id=23914705

That was helpful, Aldo.

You know, I love that Gaia is not just a forum: it's like a tiny world. I enjoying reading different types of guides and articles that interest me, whether it's "how to buy low and sell high" or "how to make your posts attractive."

It feels like flipping through a magazine everyday. <3

Do you have any interesting articles for me, maybe? Sometimes I try looking for some useful guides, but they're usually very simple and only explain how to operate the mouse or something. neutral

Sadly I don't have any off the top of my head, but sometimes for the hell of it I like to check out the Guides & Resources forum.

I'm usually interested in topics that have no definitive answer, because I like to see people's opinions. Like "How to Make a Quest Thread" or "How To Make Your Minishops Look Good" guides, things that I don't have much experience with. I like to see what kind of thinking goes into their creation. :]

Since I'm a fan of aesthetics, sometimes I'm also interested in stuff relating to profile coding and all.

But yeah, things like "how to click a mouse" (or "how to use BBCode" or "how to take a screen shot") are boring unless that's something you really didn't know already.

G & R sometimes has interesting subjects, but the guides themselves usually just don't have it in them. xD

You can make a surprising amount of gold selling worthless loot items. I might be able to buy panda slippers within the week. Well, if I find nothing better to do than list and delete sold notifications... ._.

Stupid storage. What good are you if I can't dip into you when I want quick gold? *kicks*
