"Li Na," She called to the lioness kindly, "It's nice to see you around, you may eat first though, if you'd like. After all, it was you alone who got the kill," She nodded.

The split lioness looked over her shoulder. "I have already eaten." She licked her jaws at the thought of the plump meerkat she had caught. Juicy with a good layer of fat and tasty meat.

"No need to be sorry," he smiled. "We'll be off then?" he gave her a playfull nudge to say, 'Lets race.' and then he took off getting a bit of a head start. He knew they wouldn't be able to run the whole way but maybe half or so, they were in pretty decent shape. He hoped running would lift her spirits even more, to drift from the bad feeling of leaving there first home.

The darker side watched the pink lioness. "I am not Li Na...I am Ilice." Hope was now the only lion that knew of the fire lionesses problem. Red/blue eyes narrowed, waiting for her reaction.

Knarnia giggled as he challengd her, her joyfulness back. "Hey, that's cheating!" she said playfully, darting after the orca lion as fast as she could. "Bye!" she shot back once. Maybe they'd be back to visit them someday, who knew? Knarnia sure didn't, so all she worried now about was enjoying the race, off to new grounds.

Karver lifted his maw and roared loudly signaling the leave of two of his lions. As the sound died down, he looked over at Li Na and huffed. "Haven't seen you in a while..gone off by yourself again as usual...next time, let us in so that we won't call if we need you..." He stretched a bit and stepped into the cave feeling slightly tired. He settled down on his rock and began dozing.
Anya stepped out in time to wave good-bye to the others. She then sat down beside Hope looking over at the new female. She was slightly unusual and didn't seem to be too keen with the pride. She kept quiet waving her feathered tail.

"Ilice,..." she said to the fire lioness,.... "Okay then. Thankyou, Ilice," She said as Karver walked in.
"they're happy now?" She asked, and then looked over at the uneasy Anya.

She blinked a couple times. "Huh? Oh yes yes, very. Karver went inside to sleep and the other two are well on their way...I'm going to stay here a little longer..you guys need some more help until you get more lionesses..I just wonder if Akintunde will let me." Anya huffed nudging her Aunt then looking over at Ilice. "Nice catch. You're a pretty good hunter." Anya got a little more comfortable resting on her belly now; her tail wrapped around her right haunch and her feathers rested at the belly.

"ah" She nodded, "It's nice having you here for aslong as you may stay," She said to anya with a smile, then she looke over to Ilice. She could only guess that the huntress was asleep aswell.

"Thanks Auntie Hope. I intend to stay until you get some more lions in this pride. I only hope Akintunde will let me do so." She twitched her tail slightly giving off a small yawn. "This place sure is beautiful..."

Ilice was still awake. She slept a lot when Aoi had control, and had more energy then she could use. When she was in control, Aoi went to sleep. The lioness would know nothing when she woke. Not even that Ilice had revealed herself to Hope.

"How is Akin doing? Better than when Karver and I left Moyo's pride I hope?" She asked, glancing over at Karver with a gentle smile.
Hope glanced at Ilice too. The lioness had always been so quiet, and to herself. Though others might find the lioness unnerving, she was a member of the pride, and a verry important one at that. Hope could only with that the lioness would spend more time around the pride, so that they all could bet to know the one whom they owed thier meals to.

She nodded. "Alot better. He has a mate now. Her name is Kichea. They had three beautiful cubs, all full grown now." She gave a small little smile. "Our pride is about as small as yours, Aunt. Maybe we should join up and just stay here." She gave a little chuckle and shook her head. "But I know Akin won't approve. He's too bullheaded and he doesn't feel like moving anywhere." She licked her left forepaw slightly, twitching her left ear out of habit.

"hnhnhn,..." She chuckled. With a glance outside, what had once been sunset had turned to night. THe moon was high, and the stars were bright.
