"Sir! Yes sir!" Her feminine voice pipped up in answer to the boss-man as he dumped his cargo, pausing as she walked over in her tiny golem to investigate what it was the man had been carrying. She nudged the girl with a foot. Silver hair, huh?
She vaguely recognized her, but frankly registered nothing, instead taking a seat on the downed creature to make sure it didn't get up while seeking out another target to try and capture-gun it up with. She liked capturing these things, to be honest. Very...refreshing!
But hey, she'd at least keep Caelius's trophy in tow with her.

Though he hadn't been much help to her, Thackery offered a little smile in return to the netted ghoul, awkwardly patting her through the net, confident that it would somehow reassure her. Well. He was at a loss here.
His attention was snapped away as the cloaked figure began to speak again. None of it made any more sense than the last bit of dialogue, but he did mention classmates that he knew. He frowned, wondering why he was singling them out. Had something happened with them specifically during the trip that he'd not heard about yet? A suspicious glance to Calder, who appeared just as bothered by the comments, seemed to shoot that theory out of the air like a good game of Dubbit Hunt.
He watched on as the other students began to follow him, one by one. In a fight he was practically useless, but he supposed he could serve as some sort of distraction. With their allies being freed almost as soon as they had been caught, he knew he wouldn't be of much use here. One-on-one combat would inevitably do more damage to him than the "trainee." That left following the group. Again. Which was exactly what had gotten him into this, but he supposed it might be able to get him out.
After a quick about-face to make sure Ash wasn't here and potentially captured, he put on his Badass Face and ran as fast as his two awkward humanoid legs could carry him towards certain danger. Or a potential massacre. He wasn't sure yet.

Things were happening so fast. Mort was captured--Xiu had been absolutely furious to see this--but Christof managed to free him. Another student came by to free her then...
...And then he was captured. They really needed to get rid of those guns!
Before that, though, the baku scrambled over to Herryk, fingers knotting in the net as she worked on untangling it from around the boil. "I-I'm so sorry you got captured because of me. Most of the creatures had ran off after Caelius, the few that remained were mostly captured, with maybe a few running loose. One in particular seemed to have excellent luck when it came to dodging, but Ryan, like usual blamed the gun.
"Hmm, nope. I don't think it works so well." He grinned sheepishly at Wilson and Kat, when the net did nothing but probably startle the broken doll ghoul.

Considering the situation, the pretty little pout that she gave Invictus should have been almost obscene. The fight was raging on, the sound of nets and startled cries as students fell beneath them deafening, and yet she seemed not the least bit bothered by it, her mouth turned downward a little as she met Invictus' eyes, brows furrowed. The only indication that she recognized there was a fight at all was the slightly languid look of her movements, the slight roll of her shoulders every once in a while, as if pleased by the fighting. In the midst of the war between Halloween and Hunter, she was in her element, and she languished a little in it, her frown fading quickly into a little smile, shrugging a little in Conquest's direction.
"La, I suppose. I cannot deny, seeing Cym squash them like bugs is quite the temptation..."
Her voice trailed off, quickly lost in the sound of the battle as the sudden sensation of power rolled off her skin, the muscles beneath her shoulders suddenly tightening just a little. Whatever temptation she had had was completely vanished, along with nearly every other sensation she had been feeling, her attention suddenly focused entirely on the shiver of electricity along her skin. She recognized it, of course -- it was the feeling of the island all over again, muted but there, different in a way that made her want to shiver no matter how much fire she threw. Eris didn't have to turn to know Caelius was there, but she did regardless, her usually warm brown eyes suddenly sharp as they focused on him, completely ignoring Shehk. The sight of Circe, lifted suddenly high into the air, should have sent the impulse for her to find some sort of shelter from the blast, knowing intimately the damage it could do, but instead War's heir simply stared at the raw power of the scythe, watching it fall.
The blast was strong. Strong enough to knock her back, forcing her to fall into a crouch, one palm in the dirt to steady her as she skidded, stilettos marking two trails in the dirt. Through the commotion, which had suddenly died at the sound of the master-hunter's voice, she could hear him address the students with some sort of information he must have acquired.
And then he addressed them.
They knew this game. This taunting. That's why they were helpless to deny his obvious invitation.

Finding himself freed a smile graced the mantis' face, revealing a neat row of sharp teeth. "Yǐn Cáng," he offered to the white-haired boil. "I thank you for rescuing me, and shall repay you by taking the fight to our enemies." It may have been nice to stay to properly meet the boil, but there were more important things to do. Someone had caught him in a net, and he needed to see about repaying them for their trouble. As he stood Yǐn Cáng slid into a fighting stance before quickly making his way over to his captor. However, a short-ranged fighter coming from a distance did have a distinct disadvantage. As he felt his attack barely miss his opponent he began to retreat several steps, but not without speaking up about something bothering him. "Do try to keep your physical and public displays of affection in check. That could be mistaken as torture." There was something up with the FEAR shield, it made Petro woozy and uncoordinated. But it didn't keep him from spotting that Lizzy was caught! Brown eyes narrowed as he kicked off towards the red-cloaked figure the net came from. As much as he would have liked to really teach whoever it was a lesson for attacking his friends, his vision doubled and his punch only grazed the figure's arm.

One after another, they were captured. And one after another, they were freed.
And more and more, Mort swelled with a mix of pride and anger and a touch of awe. He clasped Christof's shoulder once the older boil had freed him, watching as Herryk and Ms. "Shu" exchanged favors by freeing the other. "Th-Thanku, sir. W-Will give good fight now." Only Freya was left, and she looked . . . terrible.
The triad of Pride, Anger, and Awe-Touching got overridden by Anger.
He turned for the nearest hunter, baring his teeth as he broke from the group in a momentary fit of brainlust as he launched himself at the Hunter who had netted his bro, wanting nothing more than to see what would happen if he attached his teeth to his cranium.
Of course, he went short of his target. Blasted eyesight.(( Staying, failing at his attack once more! ))

Tybalt flashed a grin full of serrated teeth at the hunter, as the net sailed past him, allowing him to get away with ease.
This was pretty bad though, just about everyone had been caught, and the hunters were still firing away at them all. It was only a matter of time before the s**t hit the fan--if it hadn't already.

((OOC: GM note: You cannot be captured and free someone or attack on the same turn! If you are captured or someone has targeted you successfully prior to your turn, you must rp post point of capture. That goes same with Hunters, you cannot attack and then dissipate the same turn, you simply dissipate))

To be honest Willow was tempted to follow, however she stuck near Mei like she promised Bul. Snarling when a Hunter attacked the living doll, "Keep trying. I'm going to take care of this jacking idiot." She said as she gave a quick glance to the one Mei was helping. "Be right back."

Vanessa had been about to thank Wilson when the true point of this mission had suddenly arrived. So when the sudden amount of monsters and creatures had shown up, all thanks to Caelius, of course, Vanessa had stared at them for quite some time before shaking herself into action. Quickly, she swung the trap-gun-thing up so she could actually aim at people taller than her current three-foot-nothing height, and began picking through the battlefield in an effort to figure out who/what exactly she should aim for.
The answer came when some figure, a girl -ghoul- with skin that looked like it was shattered in some places, decided to flip her team off. Vanessa gave a slight snarl in return, lifting the trap-gun and aiming it at the broken-looking creature. Candace blinked, accepting and returning the highfive with a grin. "That was nice of you to capture the other one, too. It's cruel to separate mates, after all. Or something like that." The 'Jiang shi' chuckled, batting at the parchment as it brushed against her face again. Stupid paper! She was not enjoying this golem as much as she thought she would. Unfortunately that moment of distraction was what allowed one of the boys to come over and smack at her arm, hissing and jumping back away from him. "What? You angry? How cute."
