He was upset and angry and just a bit sozzled as he swung Tracey at the damn tentacled thing. Tentacles. He hated those. And he wasn't too keen on watermelons either now.
The juice from all the ones that had hit him was drying sticky, he wanted a shower.
Sand was also a new horror.
He took it out in his swing. Which went clumsy wide anyway.

It was like the thing was aiming for him on purpose. Jordan sprawled on the sand and attempted to breathe. He briefly considered just staying down, but the watermelons, while they hurt, were doing little to no damage to Ferros's Fear shield, and he was a Sun, and he'd just get up in a minute here when he wasn't dizzy.

No, he couldn't let those nasty melons get him down! He was now a strong, and glorious teenage girl! Nothing could stop a 17 year old girl! Yes! Time this thing stuck around was time he wasn't spending at that bar bullshitting stories about his life.
He swung and managed to make a tentacle haul back in pain. Good. It was ruining his already worst day of his life, it deserved everything it got.

The smashed watermelons made the ground that much more slippery, and when Jordan got back up, his foot slipped on a piece of rind, and he was flat on his back again. He gritted his teeth. He was going to kill something.
He got back up, more carefully, and headed purposefully for the monster.

Otto got his composure back, shakily getting to his feet and taking a step. Two steps. Three. Soon he was running at the giant again. However, since so many melons had kamakazi'd on the bosoms of hunters, he slipped on some mushy cast off and tubled to the floor again.
This time, this pissed him off something nasty.
