"Okay!" Miyo shouted back at Akira. She didn't want to be any more specific, like where they would me. She turned back to Kioku. "Yes, of course you can come Kioku. Once we meet up with my parents, then I'll tell you about what has happened here..." She looked sad once again but quickly replaced it with a smile. "C'mon, it's this way!"

Looping her arms around Yoji`s calves, Ari secured his position on her back and nodded to Akira.
As they headed off in the direction opposite of Miyo and Kioku, Ari felt the darkness become less overpowering. Ari knew that Miyo had felt it too. Rose would be safe with her.

"Leave? Where would he go? He`s just a child," Ari rolled her shoulders to loosen the strangle-like hold that Yoji had on her neck, "HE shouldn`t be on his own anyway."

Miyo smiled and nodded. "Yes...it'll be good for someone for outside this town to know... It's been so long since I told anyone..or rather, I was comfortable enough to tell anyone...Do you mind if we stop by somewhere before we go to my parents?"

Kioku smiled back over at Miyo. She didn't know what it was all about, but she had a feeling that it was important to Miyo. "Of course not, Miyo. I wouldn't mind that at all."

Miyo nodded a silent 'thank you' as they continued walking. Soon, the streets began to look emptier until they reached a high iron gate with a sign above it reading "GraveYard". Miyo pushed the door open and walked in, motioning for Kioku to follow. She walked between the epitaphs until she saw the one she seeked. She stood in front of it, her eyes lowered. "...Chise..."
