I confess I haven't been on gaia for a while... and... ummm.... there was like 2 cm of ice over the car this morning. I think maybe Michael was lying a bit when he said Texan winters were like Aussie winters.

It's actually cooled down now, but it was icky today.

Snow! Exciting. Needless to say, I'm over my whole snow thing. It's COLD! And it usually = ice which is scary driving =( The day that we were driving down to Texas and the ice got pretty bad, we heard on the news that heaps of people had died whilst driving on the ice... tis scary

Lol that's a rather blunt way to sum up the situation where I live at the moment, but you are correct. It's almost as if the gods are laughing at our pitiful state, but for a brief moment, decided to give us a moment's reprieve by sending a thunderstorm that blanketed Victoria, bringing more rain in a day then we've ever had in the last two months. But today it's going to be hellish again. I'm sweating just talking to you guys. sweatdrop

I don't think I could go straight from this into Texan ice storms, no sir!
It's been consistently hot enough for me to start becoming accustomed to it, which hasn't happened the last few years at all.

WellzY I don't think I could go straight from this into Texan ice storms, no sir! It's been consistently hot enough for me to start becoming accustomed to it, which hasn't happened the last few years at all. Same here. I'm more accustomed to hot, humid 30 degree days than awfully cold, raining days less than 10 degrees. I guess Texas is in the middle of winter at the moment. xd
