Frogtaur (( Requiem6661 ((doing another three-day jump. I'll post again on Sunday. Ah, no. It is not reasonable to ask everyone in the thread to stop what they're doing just so you can include the words "A few days later" in your post. Vanishing for a couple of days IRL is all right, but a couple days of real time doesn't mean anything in game time. If your character must do something else for a while in game time, rescue the cat or argue with a stewardess on the plane back from Spain or something, but NO MORE time skips. ((I'm not ASKING everyone to stop what they're doing. I only do these things because I suck at doing fillers for my character, and because I don't have the time to do so with my summer schedule. Remember, it takes me ALL DAY to come up with an idea for my post and then type it out. Also, no one is directly tied into my RP at the moment, so I don't need to worry about people catching up. I'm sorry if I'm sounding rude, it's not my intention. It's just that I'm under a hell of a lot of pressure from my family, my job and my summer school, and I'm tired as hell of people getting on my back. I really don't want this escalating into a full-blown arguement, because I don't need to get banned from yet ANOTHER thread over something stupid like I did three years ago.))

(( Who said anything about banning? I can't do that, and I wouldn't over something small like time control even if I could. I can ask you, as a player, not to do something that would disrupt the game for others. I just don't want to work in a sudden loss of a day. While your game may not involve anyone else right now, there are a few people on the same planet as you who would be affected by skipping to a few days later. As for a way to blow off a day... wanna switch to PMs? ))

Hrisskar awoke, sunlight streaming through the small window in the inns bedroom. He lay for a while, remembering the nightmare... or memories.., remembering the face that leered at him. He needed to find him.
Swinging himself out of bed, he wet his face with water from a small cracked washbasin in the corner, got dressed, and left the room. Going down the stairs into the taverns main room, he noticed with bemusement that a few locals were already drinking. Crossing the room to the barkeep, he enquired as to whether he had seen Ace. The man pointed him towards the town square.
A few minutes later, he was in the town square, walking up to the solitary figure of Ace.
"I need to ask you a favour Captain. We've been here for several days, and theres still no sign of these dragons. I.... need to go home. To Russia. Theres an old acquaintance I need to find. Would you let me go? Or am I needed too much here? I don't want to say why I need to find him... The pain of what he did is too strong, even after all these years. ...I thought I knew him..."

((Writers block sucks. A start to type but I can't get anything creative out and my role playing ends up even more bland than usual. T__T
If the position for vice-commander was an open election, I probably would vote for Frogtaur. I would run, but I don't think I could do as good of a job as Frogtaur. I might submit an application anyway.))
When Hrriskar arrived in front of Ace, he was looking up at the sky. Just staring at the mountain tops. "You need to go home? Well my friend," He said still looking up at the sky. "I have some good news for you, and some bad news. The good news is that I can open the portal at any time. The bad news is that it will open up back where we came in. High in the sky."
He finally turned and looked at Rusty. "I also have some even worse news. I heard dragons. Notice I said dragons. As in multiple dragons. Now, I can't tell you exactly their size, but I can tell you that their are two right now."
Ace looked back into the sky. "Oh, they are here now." He pointed to two silhouettes appearing to come from out of the mountain. They dived down and headed for the city at a fast rate.

LOCATION: 747 above France Riku sat back in his seat and looked out the window. The French countryside, though beautiful, never appealed to him- it just didn't compare to the Lorelei Fields back home. Four hours after being extracted, and he was already on a plane heading to Italy. His next lead was in the Vatican; he had already arranged a meeting with one of the few remaining Templar Knights. Hopefully, the man wouldn't try to kill him as the cop in Seville had. He leaned back further, and drifted off to sleep. It was going to be a three-hour flight, and he hadn't slept for a while. Might as well catch up now.

DATE: July 21st, 2008 LOCATION: Vatican City, Rome, Italy OBJECTIVE: obtain information on the Emperium Blade Riku looked over the Vatican's courtyard, observing the hundreds of people walking through it. He was looking for his informant; all he knew about him was that he would be obvious to spot. That made it much easier when he finally spotted him, because he was holding up a piece of paper with "Brian Tenenbaum" (his alias for this mission) scrawled across it. Riku crossed the courtyard to meet him. "Ah, ye moost be Riku," the man said in a thick Scottish accent. "I am Gregory Ackerman, oof the Knights Templar. Welcome to Roome." "So you have information about the Emperium Blade?" Riku asked. "Aye, lad, I do," he replied, putting the paper in his pocket. "Follow me." They walked up to the Papal Palace, and after Gregory said something to the Swiss Guards standing by, they entered.

Korie Wildman, a new recruit. A newbie, a rookie. She felt almost out of place in this huge place, the base of Mishaps. But, again, she only felt almost out of place. Almost. The few other agents and staff she saw wore serious looks on their faces, dressed in either casual or fighting apparel. Even the security personnel seemed more edgy than the ones at everyday checkpoints and forts. She walked through the main hallway, past the rooms and fields. She paused in front of a door that was gave off a sense of grandeur over the other rooms. It was probably the Commander's office. She turned on her heel and looked back down the hallway, down to the security checkpoint that took her about a half hour to get through, due to the amounts of tech she carried on her person. Korie, inhaled, letting the feeling soak in. She was an agent, a mercenary. From now on she won't be leading the boring life of an ordinary tech psycho.
She sighed, and smiled.
"Now, if only I could be assigned to a squad, my adventurous life can really begin."

((OOC: Not true! *swings in on a rope* YEEEEEEEEEEEHAW! *smacks the wall*.))
Before Larry left Cyrith's side, he reluctantly delivered Cid's message. Reluctantly, because he didn't enjoy being his enemy's lackey when wasn't even getting paid. "Oh by the way man." he told Cyrith, retrieving the package "Mr.Wiseguy who thinks he's a mafioso back there gave me this for you, said he's all sorry for the torture and s**t. Anyways I gotta go."
Larry handed Cyrith the package and gave him a couple light slaps on his back. The portal was reset and now led to MMHQ, which Larry gleefully (in his own way) escaped to.
Now back inside, he checked his vibrating cellphone which displayed that he had a text message incoming. He opened up the screen and looked at the message:
Larry ya gots'ta get back hea quickly! Theys some'um real important I gotta tell you! Clarissa and I needs you!
Marissa
"Ah, Christ..." Larry muttered, shoving his phone into his pocket "Not again." He hurried quickly over to Mr. Forgle's office, getting lost and going the wrong way a few times. After realizing his mistake, he went the right way for once and bumped into Korie Wildman as he rushed around the corner. "Sorry, hon!" he called behind him "My mistake."
It took some doing, but Larry reached Forgle's office and wrote him a note that asked for emergency leave. Well actually it didn't ask, it just said:
Gotta go, twin sisters in trouble. I'll file my mission reports later.
Larry
P.S. About my squad...
He took off and made tracks for his home in NYC by way of portal.

The cool shadows of the forests were appealing to the teen. To make things more pleasant, there was a sense of dampness on the air. 'Feels like its gonna rain soon.' Yue spoke. He had taken the Sturgyroot, and stashed it away. A calming breeze whipped through the canopy of leaves. Dry air fell through the leaves to settle around the teen. It was an unnatural breeze. Curling up into a ball, he leaned against the bark of the tree. It was rather uncomfortable, but the spell of sleep was beginning to overtake him. Using the remaining will power he had, he opened his eyes. Flashing over his head, the scaled hide of some creature caught the light shining his eye. As he began to fall asleep, Yue muttered one word. Dragons. ((I understand how you feel on the writer's block thing.))

(( Thanks for the welcome! I'm glad to be here, but I hope this thread isn't dying already, as soon as I get here. o.o ))
Korie was readjusting the pilot goggles sitting atop her head when a boy smacked right into her. She stumbled backward and in a blink of an eye the boy was already running down another hall. He shouted an apology behind him as he ran. She stared down after him and put her hands on her hips. "Well, that certainly was interesting. Being a mercenary must really be a busy job." Korie shook her head and made her way back down the main hall. She peeked through one door, and saw a training ground. Some people were already on the grounds practicing their skills. She closed the door and continued back down the hall. She glanced at the security guards. Well, more like glared as the metal detectors went off again. The guards didn't bother to search her this time, the memory of her face still fresh in their minds, of course. She bounded back through the door and stretched. She looked into the thick forest, and a grin spread across her face. Might as well stretch all of her muscles. She ran into the brush, and jumped onto one of the higher branches of a tree in one leap, landing in a monkey-like position.
She smirked, proud of herself, then adjusted herself so that she sat with her feet dangling down. She stared through the treetops, to the sky and breathed in the fresh air.
