"Now I think you are both confusing me on purpose." Gene mutters, but does not really seem all that put out. "Why is your face so red? Are you embarrassed or were you just in the sun too long?" He asked as bluntly as ever as Richard hugged him. Gene thinks a moment, then strokes Richard's hair. It seemed to make sense, he thought. Michella had stroked his hair when he was upset. "Now you feel better." He states matter of factly, assuming that is how this hair stroking thing ought to work.

I had to laugh at her reply. Senhai definitely didn't act her age. "And I'm not usually this down. I'm alright," I said, gaining some of my confidence back. "I don't know if you feel this way, but it really hurts when you're existance is ignored." I sighed. I was icthing to turn feline, but dug at my palms instead.

Elaine nodded, and began doodling in her sketchbook. She guessed Alice was a bit distracted at the moment. "I like art, too. It's the only class I can just sit and draw without interruptions." Elaine didn't take her eyes off the sketchbook. Angling so only she could see, then she drew Richard once again, but blushing. He really blushes a lot... She shook her head while turning the page. "What's your favorite color?" She asked Alice.

"Just some pizza. With some meat on it. It was delicious." Gavner smiled at him, and stuck 3 sticks of gum in his mouth. He chewed quietly, staring out at the campus.

"My favorite color is black." Alice said, reminding her of club she once used to go to to. "What about you?" She said turning her head in Elaine's direction. Her long hair falling down her shoulder.

My cheeks became even redder still, "Uhhh... it's just some people on the class I am ment to be in." I put my hands over my cheeks and stared at Gene, nudging Michella hard in the ribs."Ow, ******** Richard!" I pulled away putting my hand to my ribs, Richard's elbow was damn boney. I shoved an iPod headphone into Richard's ear and clicked though the music until I got to 'Pure Morning' by placebo, Rich's favourite, "That should calm him down." I giggled, still holding my rib with one hand.

"Oh. I made it worse. How unexpected..." Gene stares at Richard as though he is some specimen in an experiment. Perhaps in a way he was, with the experiment being casual social interaction. Something Gene was still failing miserably at; damn. But he was curious about Michella's words. What was it that would calm Richard? He'd seen iPods before, just about everyone breathing had, but he was not allowed to listen to music at home. Music was purely emotional and thus not rational. Making a snap decision and not really considering that it was rude, Gene reached for the other earpiece and put it to his own ear. He listened for a few moments, the lyrics actually drawing an audible gasp from him. What was this music? It was so strange and senseless... but the sound was so lulling all the same. He supposed it was no wonder his parents would ban this sort of thing. "Is all music like this?"

"Blue." Elaine murmured She struggled to think of another topic. When she couldn't, she began drawing Alice, mostly to distract herself, but after all she loved drawing. Now, completely engrossed in drawing. After lightly sketching the lines, Elaine grabbed a pack of markers out of her bag and re-outline and colored it. She hummed to herself as she worked.

Alice sat still as Elaine drew her It's hard to draw a moving object she thought, as she stared at the blackboard thinking about what made her flirt with Richard. Cute guy flirt... No, that's not it. Um... Future Boyfriend Flirt.... Nope. Accidental flirt... Yup defintely, that's it.

It was easier to draw now that Alice was sitting still. Elaine finished fairly quickly, and tentatively held up the drawing. "How is it?” she asked.

Alice saw the picture that Elaine had gestured towards her "It's nice." she smiled and looked at her. She handed the notebook back and wondered why in this school were the teachers late for class. Maybe cause they just didn't care anymore. Oh well
