Maria looked down at the ground and smiled, "I have felt it before... it is a wonderful feeling... isn't it?" Her hand moved to her pocket as she started to gently feel to smooth band of the engagement ring that Chris had given to her before he died... she sighed a little, but the smile stayed on her face.

Maria looked up at Ken in slight shock... how did he know that she had been rubbing an engagement ring in her pocket?... she looked at the ground and sighed. She looked back up at him a nodded, "Yeah... he did..." With tears coming down her face she started to walk away from Ken.

Ken slapped himself on the forehead. "Idiot, you had to open your big mouth..." he said. HE stood up and just looked out at sea. He didn't follow Maria, he was going to let her go by herself to calm down, the last thing she needed, it was him flapping his lips saying something else to upset her.

Maria walked over to the motorcycle as tears fell down her face. She saw that Ken did not even bother to follow her, so she turned away and got onto the motorcycle. She started it and drove away from the pier and from Ken... she was mad at him and her heart felt slightly hurt.

Ken looked back to see she actually left him. "Looks like I'm walking back..." he said as he began his long walk back to the resort.

Maria still had tears coming out of her eyes when she finally arrived at the hotel. She parked her motorcycle out back and walked right passed Cecelio and others on her way in. She ran into he room and slammed the door behind her. She laid down on her bed and sighed. She started to cry even more and louder.

As Ken walked, he saw a gym on the side of the road. "Cool, I'm gonna have to remember where that is." he said as he continued walking. "Sh'e really mad at me...I should have kept my mouth shut..."

Maria was a bit of a hot-headed person... she cold admit that... and she had her very emotional moments... but this time she just knew how she felt and there was no question about it... he did not even apologize to her and that is what got her as well...

"Your first girlfriend and you screw it up on your first date....nice going..." Ken said to himself as he finally arrived at the resort he was staying at. "I'll apalogize when I see her again...IF I see her again."

Maria looked down at the ground... she did not want to have to deal with Ken right now... she wasn't in the mood. She sighed and looked up at the ceiling.

Hopeful Musician-Bohemian Marco smiled back at Amanda when she spoke... he loved the sound of her voice. It was so lovely to him at least... "I decided to take a trip here to forget about my past... my friends forced me to come... they told me I'd have a good time... it was hard to believe I could ever have a good time ever since my ex-girlfriend dumped me... but turns out they were right... I am having a really good time."Maria looked back at Ken and smiled a what, "Why so nervous?" amanda smiled softly "well thats good..I mean the having fun part" she chuckled lightly "sorry bout your girlfriend.." she put her hands in her pocket.She started to worry that she was ruining his time.
