Noah composed himself, he was back to his usual demeanor "Yeah yeah. I'm not crying, I'm over it. I am going to get this technique on the next try." Noah paused for a moment, there was one thing that was troubling him. "Say, why are you helping me anyway?" Yassop smiled, " As dumb as you may be, you are the future of piracy, young rookies like yourself are the only hope for pirates, and quite frankly liking or disliking other pirates doesn't affect that. The rookies should of course respect those who came before them but in reality they must pave their own path." That was Yassop's philosophy.

"Give it another try, for my sake. I can't be known as a bad teacher." said Yassop. Noah lifted his gun and tried again and again, each time failing until eventually it grew dark, he had gotten 78 in a row but couldn't get anymore. Yassop was displeased. "C'mon give it another try!" Noah tried again it was no use his hands just weren't quick enough. Yassop dozed off but Noah continued to train until he finally got it. Then he too hit the sack. Noah wasn't the sleeping type. Noah was the type that might sleep till noon unless woken up and considering it was so late he might have slept through the entire day.

When Noah woke up it appeared to be somewhat late in the day. Past noon but not quite in the afternoon. It was sunny out unlike the previous day before. He stood up and looked around, Yassop was gone. Noah had finally learned the technique and Yassop skipped out on him. No big deal though, Noah didn't care if Yassop saw him do it correctly. Yassop had been a bigger help than Noah ever imagined and he hoped that some day he too might have as good a shot as the marksman. However Noah wasn't interested in honing in on a particular skill, he wanted to become a well rounded fighter.

I heard you on the wireless back in Fifty Two. . . In the distance Sara would spot a large hubbub going on ahead of her. There were seemingly dozens of pirates gathered around a spot as a man was at the head of it all. He only had one arm and he was drinking from a jug the size of a giant's head. The man would continue to drink and Sara would notice that he was missing an arm, to his side was a cutlass. The man would throw the jug up into the air and send a straight slash at it cutting it in half with a very simple cut. Sara would pay close attention to this move and she herself would unsheathe her sword and mimic this very cut. She was watching far off and with most of the attention being on the man she would not be noticed, hopefully. After performing the Pirate Cut she would continue to watch in hopes of learning more from afar.

I heard you on the wireless back in Fifty Two. . . The men would begin to laugh as Shanks would nod his head laughing to. One of the men would throw an empty jug at Shanks as he would quickly thrust his sword right through it causing it to break from the sheer force of the thrust. Splintered wood would fly into the ground as several pieces of the lumber from the jug were sent in various other directions. Some of the men had to duck to cover themselves from the incoming wood. It was quite clear that these men were intoxicated to a point of near-stupidity. Though they just seemed like a bunch of fun-loving pirates who had a whole life to live ahead of them. Sara had to respect that much about them, especially the assumed captain. After all he was missing an arm and he had three great slashes over one of his eyes. His life must have had some horrible extremes like Sara.

I heard you on the wireless back in Fifty Two. . . Once more another jug would be sent flying towards the man with one arm as he would send a thrust forwards at devilish speeds. He was certainly a man of great power from the way how he was able to efficiently wield a sword with what she would also assume to be his non-dominant arm. One by one, splintered wood would fly into the ground as metal hoops would fly throughout the air, whizzing as they did so. There were quite a lot of jugs with such a large crew. Sara would examine this and spot a nearby piece of wood. She would unsheathe one of her swords and send a straight thrust, but a powerful one, right into the wood. It would go right through it like a hot knife running through butter.

I heard you on the wireless back in Fifty Two. . . Within a good time four of them would throw two, now empty, jugs of beer. The man would lean back as he would soon take a step forward and send a series of sword thrusts right through each of the jugs. Wood was soon flying all over the place and on the last two he would deliver an uppercut slash sending the blade right through the two incoming jugs. The two were completely split in half with a rather clean cut running through the two of them. This man's power was getting revealed more and more as even the metal rings that held together the jugs were split in half. Sara would begin to concentrate and replay this move over and over in her mind. She was trying to get the general concept of this move in her mind in hopes of being able to perform this quick series of Sword Thrusts followed by an Uppercut Slash.

Back at Misty Peak, which was becoming on his least favorite places. The weather was always misty, which was cool for the first couple of seconds. He was going to find Shanks, it had been awhile. He walked though the misty area coming across that same bar where he had seen the majority of Shank's crew the first time. He slid in quietly looking around he noticed that everyone around him was knocked out. He began to walk and pulled the head up of one man, "Where the heck is he?" he asked the man. He was out cold and gave no reply.

Noah stormed out of the bar and began to run though the street, "Shanks, SHANKS!" he shouted but his call was not answered. He then heard a gun shot and looked back, Yassop? he thought. "Good one Yassop, but I'll handle this kid." said a strange voice with a weird accent. Noah thought, could it be Shanks? Yassop lowered his gun and stepped back. He then rushed forward ready to engage in battle. He immediately realized it was him, the trademark red hair was noticeable in the mist.

Noah's hand met with a sword which nearly ripped though it. Blood gushed from Noah's arm and he cringed in pain for a moment. "Whats this mates problem?" asked Shanks, Yassop starred for a moment, "It's that kid." Noah smirked, Noah stopped cringing and wiped the blood on his pants, "I would like to finish what I started." said Noah, his pants were covered in his blood. He grabbed his cutlass with his undamaged hand. The force of Shanks cut was still hurting him.

Shanks swung the sword around however Noah dodged it then grabbed it again when it slowed down. The pain was immense more so than the last time. The blood began to trickle down the cutlass and Noah swiped his across Shanks' chest. If he could land a good hit it'd be worth it. Shanks jumped back releasing his sword from his hand. Noah dropped the cutlass, the pain was too great. He then charged. Shanks rolled and grabbed his sword. "Chaos slash." he said thrusting several times and then quickly striking upward.

The upward slash was a fatal one but Noah stopped it with the handle of his sword. "Good one kid. Most of the time that one kills." said Shanks without showing any sign of fatigue. On the other hand Noah was struggling to keep Shank's sword down. He had seen the motions of Shanks and had realized what he had done, he would use his own technique against him and this would help him win. Noah jumped back. He prepared to retaliate! He wasn't about to be disgraced again; he must have been stronger, strong enough to defeat Shanks; strong enough to protect his crew.

"Chaos Slash!" shouted Noah. Shanks smiled, "So you picked it up that fast, but it wont work on me, "Merry Pirate Slashes." said Shanks as the swords of the two met. Shank's was far stronger nearly bending Noah's cutlass, this threw Noah off guard and the slashes continued. They were aggressive and quick, a deadly combination. Noah fell to the floor. His blood splattered everywhere. He was pathetic even after all his training he was still to weak to block an attack from the pirate captain.

Shanks walked over to Noah's body and kicked it over, "Here is another one to clean up boys, he thought he could do it. Lets get out of here." Shanks and his men turned around at that moment Noah stood up and fired two shots from his pistol. Shanks looked back shocked as the bullets nearly struck him in the back. Noah was a horrible shot, not nearly good enough to hit a moving target. "You're ALIVE!" shouted Shanks, he slammed into a wall. "You alright captain?" asked Yassop. He might have been grazed by one of the bullets.

Shanks got up and brushed himself off, "I'm fine. I just tripped." his whole crew started to laugh. He then grabbed his sword, and approached Noah's body, "I'll finish it now." Noah laughed playing dead has come in handy but before he knew it Shanks was back and fighting again. Shanks used Merry Pirate Slashes again and again inflicting massive wounds to Noah. This attack was powerful enough to knock the sword out of Noah's hand. Fighting like this was hopeless. His gun was useless, his sword was useless; he was useless.
