((but neither Kordeth or Coleman could sense it. Kordeth is a skilled fairy, and Coleman has been trained to identify spells and curses. So if they couldn't notice it, how could Alice?))

Shay hugged herself tightly as Alice poked her physical form's face. She would normally be pissed by it, but now she was entranced by her remembering. "I remember him," she whispered to herself, so quietly she couldn't even hear it. She had watched Coleman as his face lit up. He had heard her. He hadn't remembered her, but he knew her name...how could they both not remember? Who was working this strange, amnesiac magic?
"He remembers me. Is it true, what that dark faerie said?" she murmured to herself. "Am I really...dead?" She turned to herself; her physical form was still breathing, slowly but rhythmically, which proved that she was in a coma. "No. I'm alive. Just in a magic comatose. Weird. I haven't been in a magic comatose since that human boy saw my wings and hit me..." she mumbled to herself, and turned to see the dark faerie no longer yelling at Coleman. Coleman was just sitting there, motionless, and she could practically see the wheels in his brain whirring as he thought.
Thoughts and wonderings ran through her brain as she criticized, welcomed, and recriticized them. Do I know this enemy? Is it another faerie? Is it a known enemy, or have I met them and not remembered them? Have I never met them? Maybe they're not even after me...what if they're after Coleman? She quickly dismissed the thought. Even if they were after Coleman, why would they perform magic on her when it could have been on just him? Besides, what would he need to forget? The only thing he didn't remember was her, she guessed--so it definitely involved her.
She just had to figure out why her soul was separated from her body.
And she had to fix it. Fast.
Or get someone else to fix it. Fast.
Either way, it had to be--you guessed it--fast. Without her soul, her body would slowly die. She had to remember every soul-involved spell she'd ever learned or taught herself. Fast. Shay sighed, bit her lip, and wrinkled up her forehead. Without help, this would be difficult. She'd have to use every ounce of energy and effort she possessed to return her soul to her body. It would weaken her. But if it worked, she would live, albeit spend a few hours more in the comatose, purely for health and energetic purposes.
But if it didn't work...she would die.
Shay sighed. Things were never easy for her. That's what happens when you're a faerie.

Coleman heard Shay speak once again, but it seemed to just be inside his mind for no one else could hear it. He looked around to find the source of the voice, a futile effort at best. Maybe I can speak to her as well. Coleman thought. Whispering quietly enough so that only someone standing right in front of him (Shay) could hear. "Who are you?" he asked.

Callyn frowned. "I'm fine..." she murmured softly. She still didn't undestand how Kordeth knew the girl was dead...
Kordeth's grip on Coleman tightened. She had calmed down a bit, but she was still angry. The fairy's soul was still outside her body, nothing had changed. When she saw Coleman's lips move, her eyes narrowed. "What did you just say?" she asked.
[[I figured since Coleman whispered it his lips would still move. If you don't like that you can disregard the last two sentences.]]

Alice walked back over to Kordth and placed a hand a her back near her wings.
"We arn't sure what happend to her but Coleman has nothing to do with it so let him go." Alice persisted and looked directly at Kordth.

((her body is comatose, but her soul is wide awake. Kordeth is the only one who can see her, but Coleman can sense her presence seeing as they are both very familiar with death))

Annabella had used what bit of energy she had to sit down on a nearby chair. She put her head in her hands. "Shes not dead, Kordeth." How doI know that? She could be dead. When Coleman said Shay, Annabella hopped up, all weakness gone. "Shay." She kept repeating the name, over and over.
Adaric sat down on the couch near Shay, watching closely.
(Can you post in Scoot and Ashs dorm? I iz bored XD)

Does she know her too? Maybe she can tell me who the girl is. Coleman thought. Desperate for information, Coleman grabbed Annabella by her wrist, dragged her into another room and locked the door from the inside so he could ask her some questions without everyone else wanting to get in on the conversation.

Adaric sighed, "Nothing to do for now. Just wait til she wakes up."
