Axel smiled a little at Roxas words. "Yeah. I feel kind of bad though.... We're together, but all this bad stuff keeps happening... I can't wait until we can just do teenager stuff like playing on trampolines and stay up all night watching the stars and junk... you know?" Axel asked softly even though he didn't believe the fantasy he just asked for. He knew that if things continued like this his life expectancy was slim to none. The redhead would finally crack and then he would have leave Roxas in order to save him. That and there was also a strong possibility that Xemnas was still planning to killing him... The only reason he was still alive right now was simply because he was listening at the moment.

"I don't care...as long as we have each other in the end it...it's kind of worth it, isn't it?" he asked softly, furrowing his brow. "I...I don't want all the stuff to happen to us...but...but I have you still... I don't know if that sounds selfish or not..." He held Axel a little tighter, starting to be self-conscious about his words. "When I get out of here, how about we go watch the stars while laying on a trampoline? You know I have one in my back yard that's been neglected since Sora died," he said softly.

Axel snuggled a little into Roxas at his words. "I don't think it is selfish to want to be with the one you love even through the bad times. I mean... honestly isn't that when you need them the most?... I just don't know how long I am going to stay sane... I can't sleep at night anymore... I'm a wreck... I-I... I don't feel like the Axel you love anymore... I feel like just the shell of the person I was before... Everything scares me.... It is worse than it was the first time... I-I really don't want to lose you... b-but.. I-I...I really don't think I'm worth fixing..."Axel explained feeling his eyes sting again with the feeling of salty tears, but he couldn't stop himself. He couldn't just get over this, like he had before... Xemnas wasn't gone this time... He was just around the corner... waiting...

"Stop," Roxas whispered hoarsely, urgently at Axel's words. He didn't want him to talk like that about himself. "Just...stop. Please. I think you're worth everything. I'll fix you up good as new, Axel. I swear to you... I'll hold on to you forever--even after death. No matter how much we struggle with all that's happening, I will always be here for you. Always." He lifted Axel's chin and stooped down just a bit to place a soft, loving, passionate kiss on the redhead's lips. "I love you," he whispered against his lips as he pulled back only slightly and wiped his tears away. "Never...ever doubt that. I will never leave you, Baby." He gazed into his eyes lovingly, stroking his cheek with his thumb. "And whether you feel like a shell of the Axel I love or not--you're still the Axel I love. I know you're still in there somewhere, I just have to dig deep and reach you." He rested his forehead against the redhead's and smiled softly.

Axel breathed a little trying to stop the tears, but he couldn't. He honestly couldn't believe that anyone would want him in this condition.... All that time in prison trapped with Xemnas only seemed to confirm that feeling in his heart. Everyday he had to suffer in that place, the feeling that he was unwanted by everyone only grew. "I-I love you, t-too, Roxas..." He mumbled a little after the kiss as he felt Roxas's thumbs wiping all his tears away. "You know I won't ever blame you for wanting to quit... I know I'm bad... I just don't want to pull you don't into the hole with me... I want you to be happy, Roxas. Even if that happiness isn't with me. Understand?" Axel asked softy wanting Roxas to agree to give up if it became too much for him. He had a lot of problems in his own life; he didn't need Axel adding to the fire.

Roxas searched Axel's eyes to help him understand then nodded. "I know, Baby. Even if something does happen, though, I will still be here for you, Axel. Please understand that I'll never leave you alone to deal with everything. You saved me, I want to help save you." He kissed him again just as sweetly and smiled as he looked into his eyes. "But just know--I don't give up so easily. Especially when I love someone." He combed his fingers through his hair again gently. "Now, how about we call a nurse to the room so they know I'm awake. I'm starving. How long have I been out again?" he asked him, running fingers against Axel's soft face. He awkwardly reached over Axel and pressed the red button that paged a nurse to his room. "I hope they don't mind you in my bed with me, because you're not getting out of it," he whispered to him, forehead against the redheads as he giggled a little.

Axel nodded a little to the compromise they made. "umm, I think in this case, it is okay to be a little stuborn." Axel whispered softly before closing his eyes and just enjoying the other's company for the moment. "Oh, sure... but uhh, just so you know, every time a nurse sees me they try and admit me into the hospital thinking I am a patient... it takes me about five minutes to convince them out of it. Your attending nurse that comes in every few hours, still hasn't gotten through her head.. and you have been in here four days." Axel said softly to the suggestion looking up at the button Roxas pushed. His emerald eyes moved to Roxas's as Roxas pressed his forehead to his. The redhead smiled a little and kissed Roxas's lips sweetly. They were small and light, but in their condition, hot and heavy wasn't really a good idea. The two stayed like that until they heard footsteps entering the room. A woman walked in and immediately freaked out. "Patients are not allowed to share bed!" She squeaked rushing over to remove the redhead. "Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, I'm not a patient, I promise!" Axel replied back quickly scooting towards Roxas to get away from the woman trying to touch him. Since being in prison, he really couldn't have just anyone touch him. Roxas and his mother were pretty much the only people he was okay with.

"Ma'am! Ma'am, he's telling the truth! He's not a patient!" he argued, holding Axel close. "Don't touch him!" He glared up at the woman in frustration. "You should be more concerned about a patient that was in a mild coma actually waking up. Now chill and check me out, but he is not leaving my arms," he said firmly, continuing the glare. "It's okay, Baby. I won't let them touch you..." He looked back up at the woman again. "Could you please call my mother and let her know I'm alright? I would greatly appreciate it."

"If he isn't a patient, he needed to be one! He looks like he felt down five flights of stairs!" She argued by exasperatedly reaching out to touch the redhead before Roxas yelled at her. She stepped back after hearing the yelling. "Okay, fine, but if you really care about him , You should have him checked in. If he looks that bad on the outside, I can only imagine his internal injuries." She worriedly cautioned before moving to go contact his mother. "When I get back, I'm going to check your vitals, he'll need to be out of the bed for that." The nurse said before scurrying out of the room. Axel looked up to Roxas for a moment, his eyes filled with that same fear he had in his relapse. "...I-... I'm kind of scared of people now.... I-I just don't like to be touched..."Axel whispered a little ashamed how far he had regressed. His face hiding in the blond's chest.

"It's okay, Baby," he said softly, stroking his hair gently. "But...you do need to be checked out, Axel... I'm worried you're really hurt... If I get you put into the other bed in here, would that be okay? That way I'd be right here. I can see if they'll even put it right next to mine." He held onto him tightly. "I know you're wary of everyone touching you, but...but would it help if I was always right there beside you when they checked on you? I just...I don't want something to be really bad and get worse because you're not checked out for it..," he said softly. "And if not...we can try when I'm released from here so I can stay the night in your bed with you..." He sat up slowly then so his vitals could be checked. "You don't need to leave the bed, she just needs to reach my torso..," he told him softly, wincing at the slight pain of his fractured bones.

Axel frowned a little at thought of doctors looking at him. He just didn't know if he was ready for that. They would undoubtedly want to know how he got so beaten up... They would get the police in involved most likely... He just didn't like the idea at all. Xemnas specifically said if Axel ever ratted him out again, he would come after his mother. His mother had suffered enough as it was. Another reason he didn't want to get checked out by a doctor. They would know by his brusing he was abused... sexually and physically. She didn't need those mental images, and the doctors would tell her everything... Why did he have to get looked at? He hadn't died yet. ".. Roxas... I just don't know... I-I don't even think I could show you.... all the marks they left... All the scars they left..." Axel whispered scared to thinking about Roxas seeing them. Especially the most recent ones... They were the worst.

Roxas nodded in silent understanding. "Okay, Baby. We'll work on it, okay?" he said in a gentle voice as he painfully leaned over to kiss the top of his head. "I won't force you into anything. We'll work slow. I promise." He kissed his lips gently again before sitting back up. "I wonder how Momma's doing. This must have stressed her out so much...after losing Sora and now me in a crash... God, I feel so bad..." He frowned, running a scratched-up hand through his hair to relieve a bit of stress. "And Demyx... And, God, Riku. He's been through enough already. All this is my fault... I had gotten Demyx to drive us to see Sora..." He bit his lip, brow furrowing. "I feel like I ******** everything up..."

Axel looked up at Roxas for a moment before nodding. He wasn't sure if he would ever be able to go completely back. Honestly he probably needed to be examined.. everything hurt he was pretty sure he had quite a few broken ribs, but he just couldn't get pass the fact that they would have to strip him to see most of the injuries... "Your mom seem to be taking it well in my opinion.. She has been taking care of Riku since he can't do much but rest or he gets lightheaded. He came to see you yesterday. He still has a bandage around his head. Demyx has been over there too. They wouldn't let me stay here 24 hours a day so my mom has been coming and getting me at night and taking me back in the morning... She wanted me to get checked into the hospital too, but I told her it looked worse than it actually was so she agreed not to make me go." Axel admitted to Roxas. He couldn't lie to the blonde like he could to his mom. It always showed in his face when he lied to Roxas because he just hated it that much.

Roxas nodded with a deep sigh. "Well, at least everyone's doing alright...except you... How about when I can go home, you just work on showing me a few at a time, okay? We'll go really slow so you can feel more comfortable with it," he suggested with a weak smile. His body was slowly losing energy from his long rest. He needed some sort of nutrients in his system to re-energize himself for the next hour or so. His body was still going to drag, though. "I'm so tired, Axe...but I don't wanna sleep anymore. I wanna spend time with you..," he told him, turning tired eyes to look at him. "I wish that damn nurse would hurry the hell up, too... I'm starting to get irritated..."

Axel frowned a little at the blonde. He probably should be resting not having to deal with Axel. "Okay, well let's worry about you and getting you better first. You are going to be the easier to fix out of the two of us. "Axel responded before shifting a little and climbing out of the bed back into his chair just as the nurse walked in. Axel knew that Roxas wanted him to lay with him.. He just didn't want to be near the nurse really at all. She would probably start examining him instead of Roxas. "I called your mother. She said she would be here as fast as she could. She also said she would tell Demyx and Riku you were awake now." The nurse said softly as she walked over to the small blonde and started to check the IV and monitor beside him. Everything seemed to be registering as okay. She turned back to the blonde before moving to the covers off his injuries. She had to see how they were adjusting. Axel watched the nurse check Roxas for any signs alarm. It took a few minutes, but she cleared Roxas as 'fine for now' before leaving again to get Roxas his food.

Riku nodded a little. "I'll do my best, hopefully the nurses will grant me some lack and tell me if he is still in the hospital or not." Riku told Roxas noticing how alarmed he was. The silverette slowly rose from the chair and moved out into the hallway. He walked down to the nurse's station talking with one of the nurse's he recognized. "Um, this is going to sound like an odd question, probably, but I need to know if you have seen a beaten-up redhead in the hospital recently. My friend is really worried about him and apparently he disappeared." Riku spoke softly to the woman. "Oh, you must be talking about the one that refused treatment for the longest time. It almost killed him, you know. He is in that room right there." She replied back pointing to a room about three down from Roxas's. Riku nodded a little before moving back to Roxas's room. "Roxas, they admitted Axel into the hospital a few rooms down. Apparently his condition was worse than we though, the nurse I spoke with said he almost killed himself refusing treatment." Riku said not going to Axel's room because after seeing now stirred up he was after coming out of the prison, Riku didn't want to over-step his boundaries.
