Nakano's eyes went wide for a moment. She had been traveling through the forest before running into this nut job as Suzaku would sqwark loudly her own insult at the words, and the girl with her one good arm would send out a pokeball.
"A bug type ...would be best dealt with fire, and Carrot could use some training."
She would declare sharply as the Vulpix would land on all four feet on the ground. His tails flicking a bit as he looked at the bug and rolled his eyes.
(I don't do dudes)
He would declare sharply as his ears would flatten agains this skull and he would release a single wisp of smoke from his maw. He was a hot dog, and he didn't like having to deal with the noisy creatures ...as he thought back to the tournament, and he felt like trying to trill a song instead of getting ready to rumble.
"Carrot I don't have time for this ...deal with that bug."
Nakano would declare at him as he gave her a glare and then stood up. He really didn't feel like it today as he licked his paw and smooth his fur flat agains this skull.
(Seems I got my orders, you are going to burn)
The fire fox would tell his opponent as Suzaku would put herself between Nakano and the lunging bug. He had a choice, continue his charge and face both of their wraths or back off.

At the appearance of the fox the Volbeat would only grin. Small wings moving rapidly, the posh insect would fluff his red collar slightly. ">You've got style, but you'll never be is foxy as me!<" The Volbeat declared with a smirk, winking as he added ">Which is really saying something.<"
As if to prove his point the Volbeat would begin posing, strutting through the air as if he were a model on stage; and every time the insect stopped to posture a bright flash would be released from his bulb of a tail.
This little routine was more then a show of Antwaun's ego, but a disguised Flash attack!

The fox's ears was already flatten as far as possible, because if not, it would have gone further. His tails would roll around in a swirl behind him as he watches the bug on the move, and he would open his maw a bit, and a roll his eyes as he declares.
(Errrr....WRONG!)
He would start to shake his head.
(So ...so wrong)
Though maybe it was mistake for him to continue to look at the bug's moves, but since he had declared he had it ....like a model on the runway he was commenting. The sound of his voice, and the noise he made was enough to make any profession model miss a beat and a step ....such a thing that would send them crashing to the ground.
Carrot was looking for that trip as his tails whirl behind him.

That entire time however, despite Carrot's wishes, Antwaun would never miss a beat. The Vulpix on the other hand would find himself seeing spots instead of stripes, the bright light causing colourful blotches in his vision. Aiming would be a tad trickier from this point forward!
">Heh. Amateur<" The Volbeat laughed, sticking his tongue out at the Vulpix.
">And salute!<" The insect cried, abruptly bending over and mooning his opponent, wiggling his glowing posterior in an exaggerated manner.

The Vulpix would roll his eyes before he would decided that he had had enough. He had given that bug as much of a free move as possible, and with he one tail salute .....the fox was hot enough to try and literally burn his flag ....as he spew embers at his rear.
The little flames would attempt to catch upon that tail and start to burn it.
(A real model ...never show their rear!)
He would growl at his opponent as Nakano would shake her head.
"You should show more respect than that."
The girl would declare lightly as she continues to hang onto the side of the Skamory for help. Otherwise, she might have gone to check in on the poor girl.

">Still ain't got nothin on me!<" The Volbeat cried gleefully as he spun out of the way. The ember would miss by inches, but to the Bug-Type it might as well have been miles.
Grinning from antenna to antenna Antwaun would begin strutting his stuff once more. ">Lets rock this joint!<" He cheered, the light upon his posterior beginning to blink on and off like a strobe-light as he danced around in the air. Wings humming into something vaguely resembling music.
The Volbeat was a one man rave; and as he continued to beat his wings more swiftly an ear splitting drone would fill the air. Bug Buzz, a move which was more then just noise!

The pokemon's head would go down. He had missed ...he had missed frying that pokemon's a** .....as his eyes would lock on his opponent and his ears would be press so hard against his skull that his fur was being flatten by the effort. He would growl loudly as he balances on his two hind legs as his tails would twirl behind him and he would point at his opponent with one finger as his two others were curled into his paws as he made it a point to actually point.
(WHAT THE HELL! YOU ARE ONE LUCKY WHACK b*****d, SO DON'T TAKE THAT MISSED EMBER AS ANYTHING OTHER THAN LUCK!)
The fur along the back of his neck was standing up as he said that ...as his other arm and paw was held outwards so that he could keep his balance. His tails were all held out straight as he made the claim ....as his noise was about as a loud as the Bug Buzz.
It was his defense ....as anger made his blood literally boil.

Carrot wouldn't find himself standing for long as that incessant buzzing reached his inner ears, throwing off the Fire-Types sense of balance and sending him down to the ground. There were plenty of ways to harm ones opponent without causing a single mark to what lay on the outside!
">Aw, don't be so tsuntsun!<" The Volbeat chuckled ,patting Carrot's head as he made a quick flyby.
The next instant there appeared to be a rose in the Volbeat's mouth, his wings carrying him at a light pace as he began a one-man tango in the sky. It wasn't as good as the real deal, but somehow the insect managed surprisingly well with only an invisible partner!

(I Don't know what the hell you said, but those are fighting words!)
Carrot would exclaim as he would take a deep breathe and send out another flicker of flames right at his opponent. Another ember, this time, he hoped it would do more than float around in the air ...as he aimed for the pokemon's twisting dancing self.
This bug was really pissing him off.

Carrot's attack would strike true, hitting Antwaun in the middle of his chest; but as the Volbeat fluttered back it would be clear the attack had failed to peirce the insects shell. ">When do I see the dere?<" The Volbeat asked, coughing and pounding on his chest as if he had heartburn rather then literal bits of flame on him.
A few moments later the insect would actually touch the ground, his wings flicking behind him ">Let's try an oldie yawh?<" The Volbeat asked, though it seemed rhetorical.
The next moment his wings would begin to hum with an odd beat...was that...Polka!? Indeed it seemed the Volbeat was using Bug Buzz in the form of Polka Music!

He had hit that time ...as a big smile was on his face, and an even bigger one on Nakano.
"Good for the first show, now aim for the wings this time. No buggy armor there."
She would instruct him as he looked backwards at her, it had been a while since he bother to counter attack. Everything he did was mostly on the the offensive, so she decided to try something new ....he was going to give it all that he got in that moment.
(Gotcha)
"Counter attack, use Embers on the wings."
She would call out to him ....as he sent the attack outwards towards the bug's wings. A little embers could go a long way, or at least, that was her hope.

The Ember would strike true, setting the Volbeat's wings alight and causing smoke to rise into the air....but still the insect kept dancing.
">Hey is something burning?<" Antwaun would ask, cocking his head to one side before noticing the rapidly declining state of his wings ">Oh, it's just me<" He added casually, abruptly falling from the sky and rolling across the ground.
When the Volbeat emerged from a nearby bush it would be with wings blackened by the flames....and the strangest grin upon his face! ">Ha! Too hot to handle!<" The egotistical insect cried before promptly falling onto his back >"BURN! Pfft....hahahahahaha!<"
Puns. Now it seemed his weapon of choice had gone from dancing to fire jokes. No matter the odds this certainly wasn't a bug you could squash so easily!

The flames would finally catch on as the bug's wings would burn. Landing heavily on his paws he would smile happily as he hopped around.
(Yup, burn .....because, you are hot ...so hot ....that you burn!)
Carrot proclaim to the top of his lungs as a sweat drop would run down both Suzaku and Nakano's face. His words were just a bit lame ....as the fire fox would stop and turn towards his opponent as he would send out another burst of flames ...more embers.
Though he wasn't bothering so much to aim as he did before.

Miles. It had only been within the area of an inch, but it would seem as if the Vulpix's shot had missed by miles. The Embers had even been close to actually hitting their target...the apparent price for Carrot's lack of aim...something he'd find more difficult to do as Antwaun turned around.
Though his wings were scorched the Volbeat's backside was pristine and clear. Lifting it high the insect would begin flashing it brightly, attempting to once more blind his opponent!

The little fox would be steam once more as his tails would flash and move behind him in his anger. He would allow his tails to wipe as finally Nakano would give the call.
"CLOSE YOUR EYES, DODGE, SOMETHING."
Carrot would forget to dodge in his rage ....as he would try and roll out of the way of the attack at the last moment.
