Naruto squeezes Rikku's hand lightly as they walk back over to the firepit. His tail light bats at her own when it brushes against his, making him chuckle a little. He continues to stand as she kneels in front of the firepit and smiles happily when she says there are still some warm embers to restart their fire! He almost topples over when she suddenly hugs his leg, blinking a few times as he keeps his balance. "Heh, I guess I will be the go-fer, might be some time before the fire really starts!" he exclaims

"Booyah! Could I trouble you for some wood & tinder from the tent while I blow at the embers & try to coax them out a little more? Then I'll really put you to work." She winked at him, then bent low over the fire again. Her tail wagged from under her short skirt causing it to move slightly.

"Hehe, yea, sure thing!" he says happily. But when she bends over and starts wagging her tail around her skirt, he quickly turns and walks fast to the tent, repeating in his head, 'I am not a pervert, I am not a pervert, I am not a pervert...' almost like a mantra. A few moments go by and he comes back out of the tent with enuogh wood and tinder to get the fire going and making it last.

Completely oblivious to the effect of her pose & outfit, the former Guardian blows with practiced care on the warm embers. Her purple gloved hands hold her braids back as she leans on the rocks of the ring with her elbows. Her face alights with accomplishment seeing the coals become more & more red. She looks up with a smile for Naruto as he approaches.
"Perfect timing, 'Ruto!" Grabbing some tinder & appropriate pieces of kindling she sets them into the ring in a way that should cause the coals to light them. "We'll need the pie irons -they look like sandwich boxes of metal with a hinge & two long sticks on one side- the stuff in the small cooler, & the flat board I set apart from the rest of the wood." Looking up from the fire she beamed at her best friend. "Thanks!"

Naruto sets down anything else she didn't take and nods at her request, "No problem!" he says and heads back into the tent to grab everythings he requested. A few minutes pass by and he soon makes his way out, his hands and arms full with all her requested items. He makes his way back to her, trying not to drop anything.

The fuel for the fire caught wonderfully. Rikku suspected the magic of the firepit was the likely source deserving the credit but that did not make her feel any less accomplished. By the time Naruto returned it was burning cheerily & Rikku was moving away from the heat.
Immediately she went to help him with the load, setting things up in a way that made sense to her. "Oh!" Rikku exclaimed, once everything was out. "I forgot the oil! & we should set the pie iron plates in the embers to warm too!"
Pausing only a moment to remember where it was, Rikku sprinted to the hover-cycle, got out a water bottle with a squirt top that appeared to be full of a yellow liquid, & quickly dashed back. She gave Naruto a playful wink as she set the oil down with the other things. "Wouldn't want them to stick now would we?"
Rikku gave a little stretch, then sat down beside the cooler, pulling out a loaf of wheat bread, sauce, cheese, & little containers banana peppers, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms & black olives. "I was thinking we could pre-make our 'pizzas' so that we can cook them as we go. "I didn't think to ask you what toppings you prefer... so you'll have to take your pick from what I like."

Naruto gladly lets her take everything and set it up and he stretchs his arms and back, popping his neck as well. Once he relaxs, he goes to sit down close to her, watching as she takes things out. "It's ok, I like most of what you took out!" he says, knowing he wouldn't have any idea on how to make them, so he would just have to copy what Rikku did.

"Okay. It's really very simple. Normally we'd make them strait into the pie-irons, but I think that would be a pain." Had she said that before? Staring into Naruto's brilliant blue eyes she could not remember. "You just have to build your pizza like you would a sandwich."
Laying out two slices of bread Rikku spoons sauce onto each then reaches for the toppings. "The trick is, you have to build everything on only one side so that you don't lose your toppings. Since we're pre-making them, we should probably keep the toppings low. That works out better for them sticking together after they're cooked too."
While she talked Rikku placed a little of each topping onto one of her slices of bread, starting with cheese. Placing another slice of cheese on top she flipped the second bread on top. "And Booyah! Campfire pizza ready to be cooked!"

Naruto quietly listens, watching Rikku's hands as she explains how it is done. He nods, it seemed simple enough. He lays out his own slices of bread and puts sauce on first, just like she did. Then he laid his cheese on, but put on a few slices of pepperoni before setting the second piece of bread on top, "Like that?" he asks.

Rikku nodded. "Just like that!" Then she blinked. "Is that all you wanted on it?"

Feeling a bit better about it Rikku smiled once more. "Sure! As long as you don't want to eat more than we've got toppings for. Any excess toppings we can toss into the eggs for breakfast, if we want. We can make two piles of sandwiches, If we wanna keep ours separate." Which she would want to do. Pepperoni alone kind of bored her.
With precision she made herself another sandwich, setting it on top of her first. "I normally can eat 4 of these max... but you could probably eat twice that easy, if I know you Naruto!"

Naruto nods, glad to know he can make more. He probably could eat alot more then four, especially with the way his stomach was growling at him to eat. He starts to make himself several more sandwichs, this time with different toppings, but being sure not to over do it, humming a little bit to himself.

Finishing two more sandwiches for herself Rikku goes to check on the pie irons. She pulls one out of the fire, opens it, & lays it flat on the board. opening the oil she squeezes a drip out onto the hot surface, letting out a happy "Booyah!" as the oil sizzles nicely. She quickly squirts more oil onto both halves, rolling it around until the iron is well covered.
"Bring over one of the sandwiches, Ruto! Use the fork in the cooler to push the edges of the bread in so you don't burn yourself!"

Naruto nods and he fishs a fork out of the cooler. Bringing one of his sandwichs over. He lays it carefully on the pie iron, pushing it with the fork, hoping he is doing it right.
