Azakael then chuckled before he joined Grell and his son, and both males raised up their eyebrows at the device in front of them. It looked like two cybernetic platforms, one on the ceiling, and the other on the floor plugged in by wires and an electronic screen. "What the hell...is that!?!"
"It's a transporter. Reapers used the concept in a few movies and tv shows, and one decided to make an actual one that really works. It allows someone to teleport from one location to another without moving a step. You just walk right onto the platform, speak your destination, and poof you're there as long as there's another one in that location. There's one now installed in each of the District's of Hell. Sure it's Reaper technology, but it helps the demons who want to travel who can't teleport or fly around." They all walked onto the platform before Grell smiled and cleared her throat.
"Chinese District." In a beam of light they vanished and appeared in another beam of light at the transporter station at the Chinese District. Sebastian felt as though he had been dragged all the way back in the past as he saw a version of China that was ancient compared to the China of the human world. There were Crow demons all over the place, looking like normal civilians in a historical exhibit within a museum, and they were planting harvests, raising families with their chosen mates, playing old-fashioned instruments, and everything else that the ancient Chinese did, like they were stuck way behind the times. Grell chuckled at Sebastian's reaction, thinking that a look of awe and wonder was rather handsome on him. Even without his heart he wasn't really cruel at all. He was nothing like Claude, and she supposed that's because opposites attract.
Crow Demons bowed down to both their Leader and to the Queen of Hell as they walked to the Dark Forest, and there weren't that many of them past level two in rank and power. The only level two Crow Demons were either working for the Leader or the Queen herself, and only got that level two powers from long hard training to be a fighter. Soon they arrived at the Dark Forest and one could clearly see that no light at all ever went in, or ever came out. Grell could even feel it pushing her away because only specially chosen Crow Demons were allowed within.
"This is where we part ways for now Belial. You're going to need to go into your current demon form in order to survive long enough to find the Great Shadow Crow. The darkness will leave you completely blind, but if you hone into your other sense you'll be able to see things you never thought were even there. The darkness and the shadows will play tricks on you, and if you allow them to get to you the crows within will devour you alive." As though right on cue a bunch of crows cawed from within the forest causing her to shiver a bit, but one look over at Belial made her feel....well rather turned on.
He was actually smirking! He was going to go in there with no fear at all in his eyes, in his expressions, or even within his own mind, and he was going to go in laughing because he thought he was better then the darkness itself. Grell chuckled before poking him in the back with her fan. "You'd better go before I rape you senseless, and remember everything that I just told you."
Sebastian chuckled before looking at Grell, then at his father. Going in there was his duty to the clan, but he was more doing this for himself then for his clan here in this District. He smirked at him as well because he was about to surpass him. "Grell if you're so horny why not ******** my father? Claude did already....You like handsome good-looking guys right?"
Grell started to blush before hiding her red face behind her fan. "You have no morals at all Sebby! Get going!" She glanced over at Azakael who only licked his lips seductively at her. The Queen of Hell would even be a bigger prize then Thammuz. "Sebby....help me..he wants to eat me..." She turned around again and Sebastian had already gone into the forest. Azakael wrapped his arms around her from behind before flying her to his home. He was going to get her one way or the other, plus they had some time to kill while waiting for his son to return.
The very moment that he walked into the forest the darkness instantly engulfed him, taking away his ability to see, but he could still hear, smell, and feel his way around. He closed his eyes sense they were useless to him anyways before turning into his demon form to survive whatever the forest threw at him. Something was telling him which way to walk, so he started out deep into the forest, one foot in front of the other, his emotions never wavering, not wanting to give the crows a reason to find him weak and kill him on the spot. After awhile he started to hear voices telling him which way to go, but thinking they were just traps for him he continued going in the way his own instincts were telling him to go.
Twenty feet into the forest he felt himself hitting something, and when he opened his eyes he was able to see that he had bumped into Ciel. "Bochan? What are...you doing in here?"
Ciel smiled before answering him. "I'm here to tell you that you don't need to go through with gaining your Ultimate Form. I wouldn't mind you serving me in your human form, and in this way you and Claude can still serve me as well with your human hearts. You can still start your family...Isn't that what you really want in the end?"
Sebastian had almost been tempted to agree with him and leave this terrible place, but after a bit of thinking about it there were a few things wrong with this. One Ciel was never told anything about Ultimate Demon Forms, and Grell gave him this mission before anyone else was notified. Secondly if he didn't make it out of here alive with his Ultimate Form then Claude won't take his said human heart back. He extended out his claws before slashing at the fake Ciel, and it vanished in a wave of black feathers, once again surrounding him with darkness. He was wondering if that had been the crow he needed, but soon realized it was too easy...so no...he must have only been a crow servant trained in illusions.
Usually by now the Crow Demon that had ventured inside would have slipped up, either going completely insane from the darkness around them, or showing they weren't worthy to the crows in waiting, but Sebastian had managed to show that he deserved to be here. Eventually he heard a large rustling of leaves, and it was too big to be that of a smaller crow. He smirked before going towards the sound, but he was pulled back by an amazing powerful force, and landed on his a** on the ground. Then he heard a large creature speak.
"Belial, son of Azakael of the Crow Demon Clan...also currently known as Sebastian Michaelis. You have done well so far, willing to cast your human heart and emotions aside in order to obtain ultimate power. If you would have left this forest with my servant then you would have left here a mortal, and unworthy of your demon blood any longer. My servant has the ability to shapeshift, and to take away demon bloodlines. Each demon has their own purpose in life, and you have found yours being the mate of Thammuz, but are you really worthy of such a mate?"
Sebastian bowed in respect to the Shadow Crow. "I do."
"Hm? You think you do? Well then I'll give you one hour to answer this riddle, and if you answer it correctly I'll let you pluck one of my feathers. What theory do most people hope to obtain, but most learn to regret it once they have it?"
Sebastian was completely thrown in for a loop here. It could be a large number of things. Love, power, money, lustful ambitions....But there was only one answer to this riddle. What would happen if he couldn't answer it in time? Would he tell his servant to turn him into a mortal anyways if he couldn't cut it? He bet his father would know the answer to it, and he began to think about his immortality if he failed. He couldn't live forever with Claude, and he would think he was too weak to be with him anymore. He would regret being a mortal, but then again he was already regretting being immortal without Claude the way he had been before. Wait a second...Immortality...In the books, and in real life mortals had always sought after immortality because they feared death, but sometimes once they got it they spent it alone, while others who search for it regret it as well because their illusions of eternal youth are completely shattered.
It took him a whole ten minutes to think the answer in his head because he wanted to be sure of what came out of his mouth. "Immortality is my answer."
The shadow crow cackled before it spoke to him again. "Being a Crow is all about owning the darkness, and seeing through it's deceptions...you are correct, and you may have one of my feathers. Allow the darkness to become you as you pluck it from me, and fly home to your mate."
Sebastian stood up before he walked towards the large crow before using his hands to feel it's soft feathers before plucking one off of him, and in that instant the darkness that had surrounded him allowed him to see everything in the dark as he felt it becoming his new power, and his Ultimate Form. He felt large crow-like wings sprouting from his back, his claws extended out more and sharper, his horns became a different shape, curving from the top of his head down to his forehead, his hair grew out down to his waist, his skin became a dark grey, and he felt feathers around his neck that were rather warm to the touch. He looked down at his outfit which was a one piece black bodysuit with his same black pair of hooker boots as before, and this made him smirk. These were his favorite shoes, and it turned out that the feathers were just a lining around the neck of the top of the bodysuit. Even his fangs extended out more as he used his teeth to lick them before looking up, and saw that he could just fly out of here instead of going the way he first came...if he could figure out how to fly that is. The Shadow Crow was gone by this point as well, so he couldn't ask him for help.
He extended the both of them out before test flapping them. He then bent down on the ground before pushing himself up off the ground, and flapped the wings in such a way that allowed him to fly above and out of the forest, and figured out easily enough how to steer in the sky. He looked around, but couldn't see where Grell and his father went. He then got an image of Grell and his father just finishing up which told him they were still going at it. With a glare he flew back onto the ground before walking to where they were. When he got there he instantly knew the flaw in the Foresight ability. With some visions it's hard to tell the exact time frame with random visions seeing as when he got there Grell was still moaning like crazy as he grumbled and waited outside the door.
Anyways when all was said and done they took the teleporter home, and Sebastian turned into human form because he didn't want to show his new form to Claude just yet, and soon they were back in the cell, several hours later. Azakael had stayed in his home District, bragging about his time with the Queen. "We're back Claude. So did you miss me? I made it back alive...still willing to keep that promise to me?"
Azakael also knew that soon he would lose his own Ultimate Form, but it was fun while he had it, and for once he was actually proud of his son.
