All right. Okay. Ahem.
To those of you with bullying or troublemaking characters: I love them. I love bullies. Without antagonists, we have no tension. Feel free to let your bullies run free, antagonizing and humiliating and beating up the other characters. Feel free to have your character be obnoxious as possible! Do it! I love it!
BUT.
And this is a big but...please keep all IC events in mind. If your character is punished for their misdeeds, this is by no means a reason to stop misdeeding. Oh, no. Your character, however, should learn from that punishment and adjust accordingly. You are roleplaying people, who are usually in some way affected by negative attention. This means what?
Make your antagonists smarter. Make them, if not subtler, more likely to cover their trails, use thugs, stop leaving evidence, and threaten witnesses. As it is, it is still easily possible to make any character here's life a living hell and not get caught. I don't want you to stop using jerk characters: hell, I accepted them into the RP as they were! But please, please don't put your character in the situation where I am forced to, yet again, determine some punishment for them when by all accounts...that character should be expelled. There are only so many backflips I can do in the name of RP continuation. crying
