I'm out of my apartment and at my brother's. Don't have my computer hooked up yet -- trying to figure out the logistics of a wireless router so I don't have to pay for a second cable internet hook-up -- so I'm using my nephew's. There's three of us sharing it, all the more reason to get mine set up ASAP.
I'll be reading the threads, and trying to post later tonight. Still have a ton of unpacking to do, and stuff still in my car to unload. Oy.

I have already spoken to Ivy in chat, but I shall post this here as well for the benefits of my fellow guildmembers.
I will be retiring from the guild RP, after Maarten's duel. I am no longer able to make time to continue with the game, and am therefore giving my 2 weeks notice of sorts. This is so that there will be no abrupt leaving on my part, and so you can finish up any plans you may have had. I apologize for the inconvience of this, and give my permission for my characters to be used after my leaving. These characters include Maarten Hoffman, Karel Ter Heide and Dael Ter Heide. Any scenes that may have been scheduled after Maarten's duel will no longer be able to be complete by me personally... My real life just doesn't permit my being a participant any more, with my upcoming graduation (in real life as well) and my activities taking up more and more of my free time.
I've spent several years with most of you, and have become very close with you all I would like to think. We've had a lot of fun, and it's been a pleasure serving with you through the various guilds we've found ourselves meeting again and again. It has been a gift to be able to share our love of roleplaying with our added love for an anime series like Utena.
I would hope that my bowing out of the RP won't change the friendships we've built or affect our relationships online. I'll still be around, so I would always welcome talking through PMs or chatting on AIM. Thank you very much for letting me be a part of this family of creativity, and I give my special thanks to our excellent GM.

What a bittersweet medley of "hello's" and "goodbye's."
I had a feeling it was coming, Pyro, so I'm not altogether surprised, but it's still sad to hear. I'm feeling the pressure and tug of the IRL now too. =/ I'm not sure what I'm going to do now with Charlie and Sofie, I guess I'll work something out.
Welcome back Kaatje and Dream, hopefully we'll be seeing more of you around. o-o

Yeah, I have access, but it's still intermittant. (I'm at work now... ninja ). Going to try to post tonight when I get home. I have *got* to get my system set up in my room. Sharing between 3 people is getting really old.

Guys, for some reason I keep getting messages about my account being blocked because of repeated attempts to hack into it, which kind of hampers my ability to actually access the RP. WHICH SUCKS. And I want to hunt the hacker down and fillet them.

I ALMOST MADE A SEPARATE THREAD FOR THE PURE AWESOMENESS OF THIS POST.
Sometimes you come across a show and say, "Oh, that character reminds me of Hoffman!" Or "Oh, that girl looks just like Rachel would." This, however, this was above and beyond passing imitations. This woman was the spitting image of my star duelist.
THIS WAS GRIETJE IN ACTION, FOLKS. IN. ACTION. That is what Grietje will be as an adult to a TEE. XDD (Minus the pure evil aspect and overreaching greed for knowledge,, though she'll still be pretty cabable of getting good positions)
BUT IT IS STILL HER.
Ladies and Gents, my character, Grietje Smit, is a star. And she is an AWESOME star. Ivy and I saw the fourth Indiana Jones movie last night, and let me tell you, when a woman who likes like this:
..Puts a rapier to your throat and tells you that you will give her what she wants, you do it. b***h. Or face the consequences of her steel.
And ohhh, is she steely.
Go. WATCH. ROOT FOR GRIETJE! Ivy and I certainly did. XD With every wave of her sword! "Go! Go! Go! Aw-YES! SHE DID IT!"
So, yes. The latest Indiana Jones movie was.. fun! Cracktastic science, for sure, but fun! And all their own stunts, which made it more real against that cracky science, but still a great time. No academy awards, but for Grietje!
For Grietje, I will own that dvd.

I saw that movie. It had pretty neat parts, though it's gotten terrible reviews. There were little aspects I liked. smile

Hey guys, I'm (Me, Yam, not Adrian) in NYC now for a 2 week off-campus course. I'll try to post as often as I can, but these douchebags lied about having internet in the hotel, so my use is limited to finding windows where I can steal other people's wireless. I'll try to get in a reply tonight, but in the meantime maybe Dream should make an Anthy post. o-o
