(ug...so sorry everyone! work blindsided me with just how busy it was the past few days. didn't even get home tonight until 11:30. xp )
ozzie bolted awake so violently he twacked his head against the bottom of the bunk above his. "oooow ow ow ow!!!!" he cried, slaming his eyes shut and hissing through his gritted teeth. he grabbed the newly-forming goose egg with both paws and could swear he actually saw stars. he stayed that way for a few moments while he tried to get his bearings. he didn't usually sleep in a bunk bed, so he probably wasn't at home...
as the pain subsided, the events of the past few days came back to him. right - dock, losing steggy, finding friends, the fire pit..."oh gosh, how long was i out? ohnoe, tick tock!" he gasped, until he looked up at jennifer's bed and saw his plushie snout peeking back at him. "huh...well, guess i got him back to her safely."
suddenly, hunger pains shot through him. he guessed it had been at least 3 or 4 days since he'd eaten, what with being tranq'ed, then the whole crazy business of his first day on the island, and goodness knows how long he'd been asleep in the cabin. he smelled the faint smell of...chocolate? he glanced around, and spied a square of brownie goodness towards the foot of his bed, lying next to a small red flower. he didn't know where it had come from, but at this point he didn't care. he popped the entire thing into his mouth, gave a few big chews and swallowed it nearly whole. well, whoever made it did a pretty darn good job. he'd have to remember to ask around and thank the mystery person when more campers were awake.
he tucked the flower behind his ear, scooted off his bed in the darkness, and trying his best to keep quiet....he promptly stumbled into the new drying rack next to his bed. he grabbed his pillow and screamed into it before sitting back down on his bed and trying to examine his foot. it felt ok, and he could wiggle all his toes (some slower and more painfully than others) but he'd have to try to check it out more thoroughly when daylight broke. he slowly slid off the bed - favoring his other foot - and righted the rack from it's knocked-over position against the wall. he then guided himself towards the door. as much as his head and foot hurt, his hunger was worse. he decided to poke around and try to find some kind of cafeteria. hopefully something was open at this time. otherwise he'd have to try to forage for food in the woods, something he *really* didn't want to do.

Serena had awoken with the announcement and was quick to get ready and hurry to get out for some breakfast. However, only after breakfast did she do her job again as she had been but she rested in her bunk staring out at the woods around them. Woods on an island... such a large place. She didn't care much to explore it today as she was enjoying the day off when she could. She only would leave to report for duty for Chef that day.

Noel emerged from his sheets with a loud yawn. What a good sleep... until the announcement. Another challenge today? Greaaatt....
If it had anything to do with jumping off of a cliff again he was going to cry. The bruise on his side from the last cliff jumping experience was enough to cure him of ever doing something so dim witted again.
Okay maybe not .. Noel was doing dumb things alot. But HEY , thats why everyone loved the guy right? RIGHT?
He rubbed his eyes and hoped off his bed, snagging an out fit from his bag and slipping behind the curtain to get dressed. Great, same old thing as yesterday... Who ever did this prank to him was going to die when he found them. Seriously , that was a couple thousand dollars worth of clothing that was stolen. Noel didn't shop cheap ever.
With a sigh the brit mod headed out the cabin door to where ever today he felt like going. The challenge and the horror it would probably bring was going over and over around his head. The brit wasn't looking forward to it but more motivated to win it since their cabin lost last time. No way in hell was he gonna have a hand in voting someone off or get voted off.

(( Hey guys, I've been kind of.. In a slump the past couple'a days, so I might not be as enthusiastic to RP. Just to let you know~ ))
Jay woke up to yet another wake up call, now used to them. She got up and did her daily "morning stuff" in a groggy, dazed state, before slinking off to wherever the challenge was. Better be something exciting.

Helena walked back to her cabin and climbed up to her bunk. What's this? Edward and Bella...were missing. Looking under her pillow, she found nothing. "W-Wha..?" she whimpered. She was absolutely sure she had laid them next to her pillow..
Holding her pillow tight, she sat on her bed. She stared at the door and awaited any news of the challenge.

Ratchet was rather stoked about not having to vote off one of her fellow Beavers. While she felt kinda bad for the Sharks and the Gulls, at least she didn't have to pick somebody from her own team to go home. She debated starting work on her super-secret-thing-with-the-pipes, but it was too late to start working tonight By now, the campfire ceremony would be over, and it would be bedtime soon. Plus, it would be awfully hard to mount the cans to the roof in the dark. Shrugging, she decided to hang out right outside the cabin and try to catch some fireflies.

Last night had been fairly unexciting for the Beavers, although rumors flew about what had gone down over at the Gulls' place. Ratchet had gone to bed fairly early, and she woke up easily at Chris's announcement. Oof, she wanted to fix those squeaky loudspeakers! But they were up far too high for her to reach. Stretching, she got out of bed and debated what to do. She didn't quite feel like breakfast yet, but there was nothing to do today, and it looked nice and sunny. A perfect day to start her project! She figured the best thing to do would be to climb up on the roof and examine the shingles, as well as the siding, any partially externalized support beams, and whatever served as a drainage system. Climbing up was somewhat tricky, but she managed to do it by leaving her huge backpack down below, only taking a few hammers and a tape measure up to the top with her. The roof was actually in decent condition. While the shingles were constructed of very cheap tarpaper that had been coated with an asphalt amalgam, most of them were in good shape and there weren't any huge missing patches. The ones at the very top looked the worst, so, carefully traversing the roof, she went to go tap them back into place. She was quite enjoying herself; it was a very nice day, and she had a great view of the camp from up here. Even if it wasn't much fun sometimes, there was no denying that Wanawakwa was a very pretty place.

Having somehow dragged Annabel to the Beavers cabin, Ariel finally let go and crossed her arms at her friend. "So, let me get this straight. I see you making out with the host yet nothing happened." Her best You'd-Better-Not-Be-Bullshitting-Me look was plastered on her face, making the normally gentle Ariel look...almost intimidating? Nah, that couldn't be it.
Or could it?

"IT WASN'T MAKING OUT!" Annabel snapped, fists clenched in anger at her sides. Not bothering to look at Ariel, because honest to god, she couldn't deal with being rational right now. Storming past her friend and heading for the cabin doors, Annabel was almost entirely out of range from her friend- that is, until she whirled about, shooting a death glare back in return.
"And don't be so ******** loud about it! People might hear, and so help me god, that's the last thing I want right now! I'm already stressed over Simon, and challenges- don't really add more s**t to my plate!" She snarled, slamming her back against the cabin's wall. Slumping to the ground, Annabel was still growling in frustration, ears pinned back in fury. Nails digging at the ground in frustration, Annabel looked up to Ariel once more.
"I.. I swear to god, it's not what you think. Cross my heart, hope to ******** die. I would never try that kind of a stunt on Chr- that Rat b*****d," she fumbled, snarling in anger at her own mistake. Slamming a fist into the Cabin wall, Annabel finally broke eye contact and looked away in shame, her face colored slightly red.
"I'll explain it someday. Swear to god, I will. But if you ask me now, I'm just going to freak out. Badly."

Ears flattened defensively, Ariel flinched with each snapped word. "I'm just trying to help," she replied, taking a deep breath in an effort to keep her words calm and reasonable. "Things have been getting really weird around here, and I'm trying to figure out what's going on so that neither of us go crazy." Although, all things considered, it might be a bit late for that in Annabel's case. Eh, c'est la vie. She was still a friend. "Just...try not to snap at everyone, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, I know... sorry for yelling, man. I'm just so ******** stressed right now, it isn't even funny. Maybe in a few years or something, but now? Now I just really need to be left alone." Raising her paws to her head, Annabel attempted to rub her temples, at least hoping to get rid of a bit of the headache. Just when she'd started thinking about all this, it'd come on in full force; ABSOLUTELY what she needed right now. Groaning a bit as she closed her eyes, she redoubled her efforts on staying calm.
"Come get me in like.. I don't know. A ******** day, or something. I just need time to think. If you stay around much longer, I'm going to start yelling. And it's going to be really bad." And really, it was; she could keep quiet long enough not to snap at Ariel, but the second she left? All hell was going to break loose. Already, she'd gotten it in her mind to go claw at a tree, maybe go yell in the woods, something like that.
...Maybe she could paint her nails again, too.
Offering her friend an exhausted smile, Annabel gave a dismissive 'shoo' gesture.
"Get outta here, seriously. I love you like hell, man, but you don't wanna be around me right now."

"But...I...but..." With a reluctant whine, Ariel slowly nodded. It didn't feel right to leave someone alone when they were this upset, but at the same time...she didn't want to give the cameras any more than they'd already seen today. "I'll see you at breakfast tomorrow, then." With a last 'are you really sure about this' glance around the cabin, she scurried for the safety of her own.

What. The. Hell.
What just happened? One minute it was all peaceful and quiet except for the occasional pounding of the hammer, and the next minute, Ariel was dragging a snarling Annabel into the cabin. The two seemed to be fighting about something, and Ratchet could hear Ariel say something inside the cabin. She couldn't quite hear words, but it was an accusatory tone. Something about making out... with... woah.
She didn't want to eavesdrop... but... woah.
Seriously.
Woah.
Collecting her tools and stashing them in her belt, Ratchet decided to get down off the top of the cabin. Lying on her belly, she began to shimmy down the shingles, moving as quickly as she could safely. She managed to reach the edge and hung from her paws. As she tried to catch the window ledge with her footpaws, a then a loud shout came from from Annabel and something slammed against the cabin wall. What happened inside next was unimportant because Ratchet was spooked enough by it to completely lose her grip on the roof's edge. It wasn't a far fall, really; had she been prepared, she could have made the drop easily. But it hurt. Landing on her back with a clank and a thud, Ratchet whimpered in pain. Darned if she hadn't just had the wind knocked out of her. Whimpering, Ratchet pushed herself to a sitting position and checked herself. Nothing felt too broken, and her tools were fine... but, from the sound of it, those were about the only things that were fine. What was happening?
