Therin gently brushed a stray lock of hair away from Suzuka's face. "We aren't monsters, Suzuka, no matter what the locals may have told you or what you've seen in movies and TV or read in fairy tales. Most of us just try to have as normal a life as we can. Usagi knew and understood that and tried to help us."
Suzuka was relieved that they didn't kill people. She figured she could deal with the blood drinking as long as murder wasn't involved. "Well, that's a relief." She tried to think of more questions to ask, but wasn't entirely sure. "Wow. Well, at least now I know why you weren't in the will....."

Gitano smiled at Suzuka's comment. "The lawyers would have a field day if they read that the home was occupied. Much less with vampires."

Arisu glanced out the window and saw that the sky was getting brighter. "Hm...Looks like it's almost time to sleep," she said.

(hey everyone im back from my trip to disney in florida)
Thorn listened to everyone speak about how they came to live here.
"As for me , lets just say i ran away from home and usgai found me and took me in,if you want to know more just let me know " Thorn said smiling slightly and rubbing the back of her head.
"oh and now that you know about what we are , i dont have to sneak around . So i have some explaining to do . That scream you heard the other night, was caused by me. I went out into the city to feed but dont worry the person i feed from is completly fine of course i might still be consider a young vampire since im only 19yrs old . In vampire years thats still in the baby years ahaha and its amzaming that i've learned to control my bloodlust so well at such an early age " Thorn said smiling then looked at the rising sun.
"Well i should also go to bed , im one of the vampires that can go out into the sun for a few hours but if i stay out too long my skin starts to burn off" Thorn said jumping off the stool .

Therin looked out the window and yawned. "My goodness, I can't believe the night has gone so fast. Well Suzuka, I hope we haven't scared you too much to get some rest. As I said before, you're perfectly safe in this house."
Suzuka raised an eyebrow at Thorn. "You're still considered a baby at 19? Just how long do vampires live?"
Suzuka looked out the window as well when the others mentioned dawn. "Wow, time sure flies, doesn't it?" She tried to stifle a yawn but lost. She then smiled a bit at Therin. "Yeah, I think I'll be alright, though I'm not sure how well I'll sleep with my head spinning so much."
Just then, something struck her. "Ummm, are we still going into town tomorrow, Gitano? If so, what time are we leaving?"
(You're a lucky little witch, FC. I went to Disney on a class trip back in.... '02 I think it was. I would LOVE to get back there on my own.)

Gitano had stood up and stretched as the other's started to leave the kitchen. At Suzuka's question he scratched his chin and thought. "Best let you sleep for a bit. It's about 3:30 now, so..." he counted off seven hours on his fingers, "10:30? Seven hours of sleep and you still have most of the day to explore."
((Hehehe I live in Florida. Every year of high school I went up to either Disney or Universal Studios. Four hours each way in a bus was totally worth it.))

( confused question The sun is starting to come up at 3:30? O....k lol And ND, I think I hate you now. I mean, I wouldn't necessarily want to live there, but going to Disney or Universal every year? DANG!!!)
Suzuka gave Gitano a friendly-mocking glance. "Leaving at 10:30, and you think I'm going to get seven hours of sleep? Ha, and you live with all these girls. You may be able to roll out of bed and be ready to go, but not me. Maybe vampire females are different than human females, but it'll take me at least a half hour to get ready, and unless you're planning going out to eat as one of our first stops, I'd like some breakfast before we go. So, if we're still leaving at 10:30, I'd better be off to bed. Goodnight, all." She took a step toward the door, then paused, glanced at the orange still laying on the counter and picked it up, figuring Gitano probably wasn't going to eat it, then glanced at Cinder. "Come on, Cina. Beddy time."(and yes, I really talk to my cat like that. It works too.)

((The sky starts to lighten up at around 3 am...At least here it does. I've pulled all nighters and I love to watch the sky, so useless stuff like this I know. The sun may not rise that early, the sky starts showing signs of morning that early. As too living here? I've never been anywhere else save for a few vacations. I'm use to the heat and stuff. I love hurricanes too. Crazy, I know, but I've lived through so many that it's fun to watch nature throw her weight around. And since it was a strangely cold winter for us this year and we're already in the 90s, it's going to be a busy hurricane season. The Hurricane Center predicts 15 storms. Last time we had a crazy busy season we had Katrina.))
Gitano's face fell at Suzuka's reprimanding, playing along with her. He bowed low and said in all humbleness, "Forgive me, my Lady. I meant to say that we should at least wake up at 10:30."

(ya it was fun it was my 2nd time going to disney and my very first time going to universal it was awsome)
Thorn smiled and nodded at Suzuka
"ahha, ya i know , sounds way crazy right , but us vamps , as you might already know, are immortal . So that means we can live for 1000s of years." Then Thorn turned to look out the window and saw how bright the sun was getting.
"well goodnight suzuka and my new vampire family but im heading to bed now" Thorn said smiling a cool happy smile as big black feathery wings shot out of her back and Thorn flew out of the kittchen and upstairs to her room.

Suzuka laughed at Gitano's display. "Very will, young man. You are forgiven," she said in her best mock-snooty voice.
She then turned and listened to Thorn. "1000s of years? Wow, that would kinda be awesome, but probably kinda sad too. I mean, if you make any friends outside of your own kind, you're going to have to watch them grow old and die in a relatively short time."
While she was sitting there contemplating the up and down sides of immortality, she glanced up to bid Thorn goodnight, but her words turned into a startled screech as wings sprouted from the girl's back and she flew off. She nearly fell off the stool in shock. "Wha... what the hell was that?!"
Therin watched the goings on with tired entertainment. But when Thorn sprouted her wings and took off, Therin closed her eyes and growled low in her throat. 'Stupid child. We're lucky that Suzuka took the news of us being vampires so well. She just HAD to go and scare the poor girl to death, didn't she?'
She placed a comforting hand on Suzuka's shoulder. "Don't worry, dear. Thorn just tends to show off a bit sometimes. You'll get used to all the oddness around here after a while."

Thorn arrives in front of her door and lands on the ground as her wings go back into her back. Then she opens the door and enters her room and then closes the door. She walks over to her window and pulls the thick black curtains over the window to keep the sunlight out. Then she jumped into her bed and went to sleep. Today was a long day .

Gitano smiled as he straighten from his bow, only to catch Thorn flew out of the kitchen. He hissed his disapproval and shook his head. "Therin's right. Get some sleep, we have things to do during the day and I doubt you want to be half-asleep when we're out."
He said his good-nights to the three ladies and took the servant's stairs back to his room. There he opened his black out curtains so the sun would be able to wake him when the time came. Then he dressed for bed and lay down, falling into a light sleep.

Therin shook her head. "Ah well. Goodnight everyone. We'll see you later." She headed upstairs to her room, got ready for bed and curled up. 'What a night. At least everything seems to have worked out. If she hasn't completely freaked yet, Suzuka will probably be fine.'
After taking a few deep breaths, Suzuka was able to calm herself down. "Not only are you vampires, but you can sprout wings and fly. Talk about a reality shift!"
Shaking her head she stood to leave along with the others. "Goodnight all. See you in the morning. Come on, Cinder." She went to her room, Cinder pouncing along behind. She ate the remainder of the orange while she changed, then crawled under the blankets and slipped into a dream filled sleep.
