Food was becoming scarce and Cecil couldn't rightly ask anyone from the university when they were all struggling just as much. It was because of that fact that he headed to the junkyard knowing they sometimes traded more than just information for random goods.
When he stepped up to the junkyard broker he held out the bandages he had been saving hoping it could get a trade in something edible.

Vayne tossed back a bottle of water, looking at the pills a tad dubious of them, but willing to try anything at this point. Food was food even if it did come in pill form. "Thanks.. enjoy the H20" He saluted the man with the bottle and walked away.
His last water bottle was almost empty. Supplies were running thin, he really didn't want to ask anyone else in the university, because then that would compromise their own supply. Instead, he headed down the junkyard. Gasoline was hard to find, almost as precious as food or water, probably.
Surely he could get some water for a full can, right?

He didn't have much anymore and the unity of the University was dwendling. He wasn't going to make it much longer and he really had very little left. Taking what he could, he went to offer what he could. Food. Water. He needed the basics badly.
All her life, Dani had tried her best to do things herself and not depend on others, but at times, it was necessary. She couldn't afford to stay like this forever, or else she'd end up... well, it wasn't something she wanted to think about. With a knife and pair of goggles at hand, she only hoped she would be able to exchange it for even a little bit of food and water.

Shard wandered into the junkyard. She had heard that Calab had come here looking for gear and wondered if he could use the set of goggles she had scavenged.
She finally saw him and walked over. "Hey, Calab! Would you be interested in these goggles? I'm looking for something to eat."

Calab didn't come to the 'yard often, he'd been doing well... mostly. The never ending grey of the sky was getting to him though.
A familiar voice called out to him. Calab turned to see Shard, the woman that had dragged him to the mall, walking over to him.
"Food?" Calab paused, there was never anything if interest in his pockets, he pulled out a candy.. it wasn't much, but she looked worse off than him. "For the goggles right?"
