Yamino Tenshi I don't mean to be annoying, but "fantasimo" is not a word n Italian. xd It sounds like a mix of "fantasmo" (ghost) and "asino" (donkey). sweatdrop Did you mean "fantastico"? Oh no, it's not annoying. But "fantasimo" is really just a word Sol likes to say (as does his RPer). He's not Italian, he just used the word bravo and then used his own version of fantastic. If you want, you can chalk it up to him being your typical American with a bad mind for learning foriegn languages xd He's just having fun.

You should have said 'bravo!' xd
I'm still irritated at the movie version of Phantom of the Opera's Raoul for shouting 'bravo!' instead of 'brava!' after Christine sang. Call me a nitpicker.

I'm more annoyed that they picked a Phantom who CAN'T SING. His voice actually cracks on a high note in the trailer. My best friend, whose mother is an opera singer and whose father conducts the orchestra, flinches every time he hears it. xd I guess they thought Christine's voice would make up for it. Instead, it just makes the guy look even worse... rofl

I don't know, tone/vibe/whatever into the Phantom's voice that thrills me every time. I love his interpretation of the Phantom. I like the musical, too, of course, but I love both equally for different reasons.

You know who I thought was hot? Madame Giry as a young girl. xd But if I had to pick a favorite character, it would be Meg. Nobody ever pays attention to poor Meg! She's the best character to be, because you get to sing in one of the coolest songs, and you get to be the last person on stage to do that cool dramatic ending (which they omitted in the movie, because they made the Phantom a muggle! crying )

Gerard Butler was in a rock band. Considering he hasn't really sung outside that, I don't think he did a good job.
Has anyone seen the PotO version of "Movies in 15 Minutes"? It's a hoot!

LadyPrincePyro No! I didn't know there was one! Oh man, link me!! xd Here you go!She's got a book coming out, too! A funny PotO story: My friends Andi and June saw PotO 22 times (I am not kidding). During one of the last times they saw it, at the scene where the Phantom is unmasked, one of the young women behind them said, "Oh, honey, it's okay! I'd still do you!"

As far as Gerard Butler is concerned, I think he's a better actor than the musical version of the Phantom, but the person who sings on Broadway is by far a better singer. (I understand they're different medias, though.) I listened to the music for POTO musical, and I like the sinister sound Gerard puts into the way the Phantom sings. It's a mix between a growl and a hiss. I also like the character better in the movie, but eh.
Definitely have to agree on the nitpicking from a musical standpoint, though. Dammit, Butler, you botched a crescendo!

Okay, everyone should be wrapping things up. I hope to move the time from the last class to the space between classes and evening. You can use the time in between for socializing, seeking out other characters, and building up on your own. 3nodding

Hey all, I had an idea for the mixer as a way to shake things up a bit ^^
What if Akio or someone (though it'd probably have to be either Akio or Anthy) messed with the drinks so that once a person drank it, the next person they see would seem irresistible ot them, a la 'Midsummer Night's Dream'?
The reason you ask? well first, I imagine god-like beings like to have a little bit of fun sometime twisted But on a more sensible note it would also reveal how some of the chars act when A) they try to get what they want, B) when they encounter resistance, C) when going up against someone whose after the same thing they are (or person in this case XD)
And what kind of drink would be tampered with? How about a pomegranate based beverage? Since the pomegranate has a myth behind it that involves entering and staying in a dark world (Hades' realm)
So what say ye, fellow RPers?

I say...the idea sounds very amusing and fun! Imagine...Gregor spouting sonnets to Adelaide...and Rachel trying to pick up Adrien or something...oh the insanity! xd
