Vincent of the Fire

Vince stared blankly, looking at the other, his eyes wide in disbelief. If he weren't so sure that he'd die, he would've cussed out the other, but instead, he just bowed his head and spoke. "Yes master." He didn't try to speak as he fell to sit on his a**, but he silently asked himself a question, within his own mind. "If he reguards me as a nothing, then why does he train me?" it was all that ran through his head, and his eyes closed as he tried not to dwell on it. Still asking himself the same uestion over and over, not even noticing the droplets of rain that started to fall, and singe his flesh. It was only a sprinkle, it wouldn't hurt him too much.

Vincent seemed engrossed in something as he warmed himself up, stretching his legs gently, then his arms. His mind traced over the little things around him. The way the sun glistened off the sweat on his forhead, and the way he looked at Cerebus when he was around. Even the way the leaves shifted slightly with the serene wind that blew about the place. It all seemed to show now, for some odd reason, and he enjoyed it just a little bit.

He quit the stretching and proceeded to use a tree as a punching bag, to toughen his knuckles up. He ignored the bloody knuckles that came after a few hits, continuing to punch, though not enough power in him to hurt the tree in partiular. He continued to contemplate what was going on around him, and about Cerebus.

((just bored, so I posted this for teh Cerry, whenever he gets on XD))

::Above the sound of his own punches, Vincent would hear nothing. Nothing but the constant crack of his fists impacting the tree. Krack, Krack, Krack, but with each punching another crack echoed in the distance, the ears of many an animal twitched. In fact as Vincent continued to punch this tree he may notice that several of the forest creatures were running past the tree behind and away from him.

Perhaps it was his fierce strength, his powerful presence.....or not. KRACK, Vincents fist impacted the tree once more and even just as it impacted, just around the impact point the tree shattered and flew towards him!

Now it was obvious that he hadnt done this to the tree or it would have falled back, but now it fell, no...it seemed more like it was thrown, at him! From so close!::

The tree hadn't been that big in the first place, and Vince's senses were sharpened. He felt it crack, and lifted both hands up in expectation for it to fall. But it didn't fall, obviously, and instead, it flew towards him. He tried to lay back, but the tree caught him on the way down, at somewhat of a glancing blow, though still harsh enough knock him clean of his senses as he fell. When he hit the ground, he regained them, and rolled back, crouched down, his hands at the ready for an attacker. "Show yourself! No one attacks me but my master! Who dares attack?!"

::Vince would notice that as the tree passed by, and his vision cleared, that the sky had grown dark. The area around him was covered in a very thick shade as if someone eclipsed the sun while he wasnt looking. Why?

Next he would hear the breathing, rushed, rageful breathing. This breathing was not that of Cerebus's this breathing was deeper, stronger, the sound of these lungs was akin to the sound of two huge barrel-size husks of air filling and releasing. Next he would probably catch the smell. A smell similar to that of wet dog, but far worse. Like thousand year old fur never cleaned, mixed with rotting flesh. That smell fused with the smell of rotting meat, also known as the creatures breath, and rushed toward him steadily and heavily.

As his eyes came into focus he would notice a hulking mass. A figure which stood no less that 20ft high and 10ft wide. Its silohette revealed that half that width was in its huge unholy large arms, following those6ft long arms down would reveal claws, each a 1ft in length, and each was caked in blood. Fur covered this creature, black fur. As his eyes adjusted he would be able to make out a "face" or rather a muzzle lined with teeth, pearly white teeth, the teeth of course were visible because of the constant growl this beast was releasing.

And lastly, as his eyes finished adjusting the creatures familiarity came into view. It was a bear. A Gaian Black Bear. It was a good thing that he realized that, just in time for the Bear to shout over the telepatchic channel.::

MURDERER!!

::And then thrust its powerful right claw towards Vincent. This very same claw, with a whim had just sent an entire tree flying. A normal Earth Black Bear can rip a car door from its hinges without even a heavy effort, that along is several hundred pounds of pressure. This bear dwarfed an earth bear, its arm was as powerful as it was fast and it flew toward Vincent with unforgiving rage.::

Vince rolled back, out of it's way, making it to his feet and stepping back, staring the other down with compassionate eyes. "And you are willing to become one yourself, for the sake of revenge? Calm down, and do not attack." He continued to keep his eyes on the bear, watching it's every move, his heightened senses ready for just about anything. "You kill everyday, to survive, as do I. Never in cold blood."

DIE!!!

::Reason. Was not the wisest course of action against a hulking 20ft monstrosity with only your death on its mind. Vince rolled back, and just as he rolled back, the beasts claw had already ripped itself from the ground and was bearing down on him.

Rage fueled her body, and overtook her mind. Her every thought was of Vincents death. But...perhaps she had "weak points", I believe someone mentioned those before.::

Vince jumped back and thought. he had all the time in the world to think because the world moved so slow to him. What now? The bear was going to kill him if he didn't think of something. But he couldn't over power it. Perhaps if he could outsmart it, and get it to fall right into a trap. He stepped back, and stood beside a tree, seming rather relaxed for someone being attacked by a hug bear. it was a large thick tree, but easily breakable by something like that bear. He waited, and stared straght at the bear.

::The bear charged forward on all fours, brute strength and speed. A normal earth bear gallops at 25-30mph. A Gaian Bear gallops closer to 50-60. With blinding speed the enraged animal pour forward, even as Vincent was still in the process of jumping back. Then with a sudden jerk it slammed its front paws into the ground and headbutted the tree from earlier sending it flying toward Vincent!

Vincent had just at the moment come to rest beside the other tree. Just at that instant his feet had tapped the ground. And now there was a tree flying sidways at him as if shot out of a cannon.::

He had just enough time to duck, the tree hitting the other and sending a bone shearing crack through that tree, seeing as it was so much bigger. The tree that had been thrown snapped in half, and the half that was on Vince's side flew away from Vince, merely streaking a piece of wood down his back as it passed. Vince yowled in pain, but stood anyways, watching the bear, waiting for it's next move, his legs slightly bent.

::Too fast! The bear had headbutted the log, and chased behind it like a rhino after smashing into its target. The tree flew at Vince and Vince had managed to survive, but just as he gained his bears the bear was already on him. Its arms already raised as it aimed to bring both claws down to smash him where he stood! Could he move again so fast after just having dodged that tree? Or would he be squashed!? Only time would tell.::

Vince cringed as he saw the bear, and looked into it's eyes, awaiting his death. It was coming, and there was nothing he could do. He stared into the other, and for once, he wasn't afraid, and he wasn't mad. He only held the compassion in his eyes. Then dark. He had been hit, and now he lay on the gorund, in a puddle of his own blood. His eyes were half lidded. She had hit him square in the chest.

::With the sound of snarling bear, and breaking branches, crushing logs, and trees around him Vincent was deaf to the approach. But like a flash, a black knight in shing armor. There was Dark. Cerebus Dark.

His arms arched above him in an X holding the claws at bay while his feet dug into the ground. His body sparked furiously and cracks began to ricket across his shell. He let out a loud growl, which grew, and grew, and grew, until finalling it exploded into a powerful wolven howl and his arms broke free and knocked the bears claws upwards.

Without delay the wolf jumped and sent a knee towards the bears chin, followed by dual fists to the top of its head like a hammer. And as gravity, claimed him and his feet touched the ground, he rolled forward under the she bear using his hands as bases as he spun and kicked at both its legs knocking it to a sit.

And then he rose and stared directly into its eyes. The two creatures had a moment of silence. Just empty silence as they gazed for what felt like days but was only seconds. And then the wolf spoke.::

No one dies today.

::The bear rose to its feel shaking with anger and let out a horrid roar which shook the very forest, then turned dug up its sons pelt and marched off into the forest. Cerebus turned very slowly and pulled a few stray hairs from his face as he gazed at Vincent, the saved Vincent. Anger, rage filled his face. But he stood silent, his gaze was enough to get the message across.::

Vince opened his eyes, and looked at the other, seeing his face, and looking to the ground, not aying a word. He hid his smile, and a laugh was supressed, due to the anger of the other. He was merely happy to be alive. So happy to bring tears to his eyes. He almost said three word to the other, but he didn't. He did, however, step forward, moving to kiss the other, without even really thinking of what he was doing.

::Cerebus watched Vincent step closer with that same look in his eyes. He didnt move to attack or defend as he didnt think Vincent would be foolish enough to attack his savior.

Vincent stepped closer, and Cerebus believed just perhaps, that he was going to bow and or beg at his feet for forgiveness. More weakness...

Vincent stepped closer, he was now beyond the usual bowing range and Cerebus was completely at a loss as to what the Wingness Nothing was doing. Closer, and closer, to his face? What was this?! And then a kiss!

The wolves eyes shot open in shock, only for pure benefit of the doubt did he not slay the wingless one right now. That and because it would make his past deed against the bear pointless. This had better be some sort of strange custom amongst Vincents people, because Cerebus had never even heard of males kissing other males. Vincent kissed, but Cerebus did not kiss back.

The pure shock, surprise and curiousity of the matter actually distracted Cerebus from his anger enough for him to calm down. As Vince backed away he would see Cerebus's blank white eyes staring down at him, with his right eyebrow raised. And a flat look on his face. The words litterally fell from Cerebus's mouth as if carried without anger not with enjoyment either, just blankness. And all the while the wolf kept constant eye contact.::

What, was that?
