"so, aleese, what were you doing before you decided to turn pirate and follow captain enel?" albel says, standing up slowly, then took a quick glance at his gauntlet, which was starting to turn red from the sun reflecting on it

"Well..." Aleese began, "I wasn't really doing anything..." She shrugged. It wasn't really easy for Aleese to talk about her past, but she was determined to make sure no one could tell. After all, if she tried to keep it to herself, it would be obvious that she was bothered by it. She figured that she might as well be as casual about it as possible. "Quite literally." She turned the wheel ever so slightly. "You see...My parents were murdered when I was seven...So my brother took care of me until-" She swallowed hard. "-Until he was killed too, when I was fifteen." She cleared her throat tentatively. "I was closer to him than anyone. He saved my life countless times and it didn't matter how badly he was hurt...Even when I told him it didn't matter." She took a deep breath and shrugged off the emotions that were threatening to arise. "After that, I could pretty much take care of myself. Except I didn't. I spent every waking hour searching for the people who killed my parents and my brother. Soon enough, I'd lost everything except my dagger and my katana." She touched her dagger. "I got this from my brother..." She blinked and returned her hand to the wheel. "I was living on the streets when the Captain found me. He asked about my past and then offered me a position on his ship as a crew member, so, here I am." She finished, putting on a smile.

"wow, sad story, now its my turn" he says, holding out his gauntlet, with the sun gleaming on it "im going to tell you how i got this gauntlet" he says, walking up next to aleese "during my first year as an assassin, i was sent on an extremely dangerous mission" he says, pausing as the memories come back "i was asked to eliminate a pirate, one Portgas D. Trace, ((hope i spelled his name right)) a man that had devoured the flare-flare fruit, and when i approached him and tried to kill him, he burned my left arm to a crisp" albel says, grabbing the gauntlet with his right hand "and thats how i got this gauntlet, custom made to fit only me" he says, raising his gauntlet into the air "on that day, i vowed to never lose again, and to destroy Trace" he says, lowering his arms and clenching his fists

Enel held the jewel firmly in his hand. It shined a brilliant golden color, but it was a crystal. He knew exactly what to do with it. First he pulled a chain from a small pocket in his clothing, he had been prepared to do something like this for a while. He tightened the jewel in his fists and ran electricity through the jewel, heating it up greatly. He didn't have fire abilities, but he could easily heat up items like this. The item was so hot it molded in his hands. He opened his palm to reveal what he had made. It was a lightning emblem, like the one on his new cloak. Before it cooled off he attached it to the chain and placed it around his neck pleased. Now he wanted to do something, but he didn't know what. "Let's find a crew." he said, figuring he would pick on some people.

Tanas listened what went on between the two, "Since we're talking about pasts. Wish I could remember that much as you two do. Last thing I remember of my life, besides waking up in a dojo with a black haired girl and a green haired loudmouth boy towering over me. Along with my mother's swords. When that girl died, her sword went to that...idiot. Poor Wado. I bet she cries so loudly." She said touching the top sword on her hip, "I remember a pretty strong blow coming out of nowhere. My mother always told me that blows appear out of thin air on the Grand Line all the time." She said. "She died when I was seven years old. She along with all of her crew, I was lucky to surive." Then Tanas put her hands behind her head and leaned back slightly, looking up at the sky. "I guess, I was born on the sea since I don't remember my father or any other family. I was surprised that Captian sent those papers to me." She said aloud to no one.
