Connor wasn't even fully awake yet and already Luka was ready and willing to fix that and test his strength again. At least she'd allotted him some sleeping time. Connor tried to touch and caress her through his squirming and gasps in an attempt to get her to make those noises as well.
'This woman's going to kill me,' he thought. 'But I can't think of a better way to die.'

Luka flopped back onto the bed. "Actually yes, I just wasn't going to be awake alone at 2 in the morning."

"Is that what time it is?" Connor asked, furrowing his brow. He didn't bother looking at the clock. He'd take her word for it. "What on earth are you doing awake?"

Luka sighed. "Just woke up, that's all." She crawled out of bed and began pulling on clothes.

"Is there even air outside yet?" Connor groaned, clinging to the pillow. Luka may have been willing to get up that early and just roll with it, but he sure as well wasn't.

Again, Connor moaned and tried to ignore her, but that of course wouldn't be working. He recalled quickly the last time he had tried that Luka had made sure that he pushed onto the floor for his stubborn behavior.
"Get off of me and I'll get dressed," he groaned.

It was tempting to just lie and not keep his word once Luka moved, but Connor forced himself to sit up, stretch, and then look for his clothes.
