Haha, the one button mouse... pretty jokes. I took a Comm Tech two years ago, it's the only class where they provide Macs (for video editing, garageband software, etc.). It was hard to get used to, but I wouldn't call it crap. I love the whole layout, the design is by far better than Windows obviously. Plus, Macs are almost invincible to viruses/bugs. It's not too bad but I still prefer Windows X3;;

I like garageband. I made a pretty sweet song on it one day, but then I saved it and couldnt find it again. Which sucked.

Ihabia Nope. I've used macs before. Couldn't stand it at all. It was such a pain in the a** trying to find out where I'd saved things, trying to open various programs was confusing. Changing settings was a puzzle. That damn single button mouse is just stupid. Stu. pid. That and a myriad other things make me biased against macs. My desktop doesn't have any icons on it. I have them disabled and put the desktop toolbar into the taskbar at the bottom. So, my background is all that you can see. It's actually simpler to pick programs from the toolbar list. In my opinion anyway. In with the old, out with the new, huh? You just have to pay attention to where you're saving the file, to know where it went to. And if worst comes to worst, use the easy Find, or Spotlight (even easier/better). Using a Mac isn't hard at all, it's built-in prejudice. And to open a programme, well, that one's kind of tough, I agree. I mean, if the program isn't in your Dock, it's a pain in the a**. I'll give you that. You have to go all the way over to your Apps folder and double click the icon. Changing the settings is even HARDER, man! The Apple menu, on the top left corner, that contains the "System Prefs" option? Homan. And the single mouse button, well, dunno what I can say about that. I was raised on it so I'm used to it. All it takes is experience, I guess. Right Click = CTRL + Click. Since I almost always have my left hand hovering around the bottom left-hand corner of the keyboard, it's really natural for me. Bahaha, kind of ironic, that your desktop is apparently almost exactly like mine. I have all my very commonly-used programmes in my Dock.

I think the only downside is that Macs can't run video programs other than Quicktime, I don't know if that's changed or not.. neutral

@ Porcelain Hearts: Buh. Video programmes? As in video editing, or just players?
Because as far as players go, I've gooot: QuickTime, VLC, Windows Media Player, DivX, MPlayer and RealPlayer.
I edit movies only on QuickTime though, and haven't really explored the other ones. But I get the funny feeling they're almost like Paint vs. Photoshop. However, I could be very wrong.
@ Deimos: Sorry. ): I would if I were five years older, and in your programme at school.

I accidentally clicked 'report guild' instead of forums and, lo and behold, it gave me the "This guild has already been reported" spiel.
WTF mate?
TCG got REPORTED?
For what?
Having to much beaver love?
