Kat sat down and slid a protective hand across her belly. She watched Curtis work and sighed then turned back to Luka and the gang.

Luka shrugged. "By knows what's going on he means the mayor spilled his intentions of killing every wolf who isn't a part of his pack before he I somehow managed to escape despite the fact that the hunter he hired can be rather moronic when he wants to be."

Curtis' eye twitched slightly at the recollection of the hunter. He should have finished him... But the mayor's plot held significantly more importance.
"So that means all of us, of course," Curtis sighed as he handed out glasses of water. "And now that the hunter has more or less failed, he's going to be looking for another means and perhaps a more dangerous one."

Luka smirked. "The hunter hasn't so much failed as had a change of...heart. But yes, esentially we have entered the realm of not good."

Jeff turned from Luka to Kat and then bent his head over Kat and took a deep breath. She did smell a lot different but he couldn't really pin point it. He shrugged.

Kat huffed and then spoke a little louder than she originally meant to, "Ok, I'm part vampire and pregnant! You happy now?! Can we get back to the reason you guys are here?!"

Curtis stifled a chuckle. It made sense that the female could tell without the males knowing quite what was going on. He stood behind Katra and placed his hands on her shoulders, beginning to give her a small massage to calm her down.
"You were hear to ask some questions, right?" Curtis asked with a slight tilt of his head.

Luka decided she liked Curtis. "Actually, I don't intend to let this continue. Before I can do anything, I need more information. Seeing that your mate has gotten rather involved, I would assume you can help me there. I was hoping you could just try and explain with me annoyingly interrupting with questions."

Kat took a deep breath and opened her eyes. "Well, I know two years ago one of the main packs out here was lead by a rather racist S.O.B. He died some time ago though and part of that pack now works for a company run by vampires. I beleive that company actually took control of the two main packs around here and they didn't enjoy that very much. A few days ago the vampire in charge of the weres was murdered, after deciding to be a crazy basterd and tried to kill me. They had said something about waking up some other vampire. I don't understand why they wanted me when they had plenty of other weres under their control. But now some of the weres have broken free from the company, but not all of them. I beleive the other pack is working with the company instead of underneith it."

Kat shrugged, "Don't ask me, I only just recently found my vampire blood, thanks to your lovely hunter...And my dumbass brother. Who aparently works for this company and is full blooded vampire. We don't exactly get along, and thatss about all I know about vampiresss..." She smiled and a glint of fang showed. She hadn't eaten yet and Curtis had been later than usual getting home. Plus with three more fine healthy weres about, she was starting to have trouble controling herself.

"Hopefully the vampires will be dispersing with their leader dead and the wolves taking control of themselves again, but based on my observation, this group has broken off from the main pack," Curtis pointed out. "At least, since their alpha helped me escape I assume they aren't in league with the Neo Nazis." He increased the pressure of his massage, hoping to distract Katra from her hunger.
