sadly, the only J-rock band I got to see in the US so far was D'espairsRay. I loved them, and loved the show, but I would like to know if anyone knows any J-rock bands that will be preforming in or near Dallas any time soon or in the future. ninja

mr. newsman $10 for an ex-Girl keychain? You'd think they were Dir en grey or something. Quruli played in the US? I saw a lot of those too, for like 3 bucks and stuff. eX-GIRL > Dir en Grey. Death of Soul: I saw them too, in Orlando. They were there for like a week about a month or so ago. I still have the promotional flyer and stuff with the dates.

czar tzadik When was the Quruli show? Sheeyoot....Years ago. They toured with Dismemberment Plan in america in 2002...according to their site...so it was probably around then. Dismemberment Plan also toured with them in Japon in 2000. Ooohhh...and they opened (i think) for Manic Street Preachers in Japan in 2003. I'm LEARNING! biggrin

I'd rather pay 20 dollars and see them [D'espairsray] an hour from me than spend way more than 20 dollars to see Dir en Grey in Japan since they won't come to America. Some person in the International Music Forum is trying to get like 3,000 people to say they would come to a concert in like I forget where..since Germany got them to come perform with the same thing or something like that. All I know is that won't happen.

Concert in the midwest because that's where the Dir en grey fandom is concentrated. I'm sure the members would love to be stranded in the waving fields of grain. lol
