Kontengai rose, not knowing what happened prior. Hunger immediately struck strong and it was suddenly apparent. Maybe this long deep sleep was a way to conserve what little energy he had left. He was going to need a lot more if he would be of any use. He grumbled and groaned. He made disturbing, but soft sounds, indicating his pain as he came more and more to full consciousness. He fell to the ground and let out a more distinct "OW!" this time. That was almost all the energy he could access at the moment.

Jay's attention was immediatly caught by the sound of someone in a great deal of danger. He could even sense that about the man. He could sense his intentions, and they were less than honerable for sure. This definitely was nto a good guy. But still..."You can do me one more favor, though, and let me pay that man's bills over there. Cover what he owes now, and what he will owe for some-No, wait, a lot of food, and all the resting he needs to get his energy up, and get himself out and on his own again. then let him go-kick him out if you have to."

He looked at the man and smiled as long as money was involved he didnt have a problem-ironically a motto that had caused him his troubled past.- "Pay his bill and he can stay until he's ready. As long as he's no trouble of course." He smiled and turned to his wife hoping she felt the same.

"Oh, believe me...tehre will be trouble once he's up to speed. That's why you kick him out before he's entirely restored. He's dangerous. I just need to make sure he's alive before he's turned loose. I guarantee no troubles if you do that." He laid a decent amount of money, definitely enough for a drink as he took notice the prices, and passed along the drink to the man in the weird outfit. Mostly, he was just showing off that he had the kind of money to pay his debts, and that he wasn't just distracting them. He needed to assure them without mentioning what he did for the money.

Kontengai had just awoken. He was fading in and out. He heard the part about his bills being paid, not the part about being dangerous. He didn't notice the man also had slipped a drink over his way after he paid for it. Seemed he had no choice if he was going to get back on his feet, but to accept it. His debt would be shifted. Already, very minutely however, he began to feel better.

Alex had taken a seat on a bar stool toward the back wall behind the bar, her head leaned against the wood as she had slipped off to sleep at some point, not even intending to do so in the first place. On occasion her conscious mind would wake her to hear a piece of conversation here or there, but never long enough to make sense of anything. her head lulled to one side before quickly snapping back to balance her weight on the stool, her unconscious self not wanting to wake up due to falling off the stool she sat on.
Kyle had moved off to sit at a booth while teh happy reunion went on. He was slightly put out, but felt more awkward then anything for being in the way, or at least around the happy couples that inhabited the place. Opening up teh laptop he had he typed away on it, finding a more recent lay out of the city and bringing up the HEC records to see who was calling teh shots now, and get an idea of the local news.

Seth looked over at Alex and smiled, her sleepiness was cute. He got up and went over to her, he hugged her and then picked up gently off the stool.
"You know if your tired, you have me to run things while you nap on your lazy bum?" He excused them from the rest of the group and walked with her in his arms back towards the bedroom. His smile seemed to reflect his adoration for her as he laid her in the bed. "I dont have to tuck you in do I?" As he sat down on the bed and stretched out the upper half of his body he realized how tired he was. Sleep was never his speciality, so it seemed he always felt tired; he just couldnt make himself sleep.

Alex relaxed as she felt herself be picked up. The familiar tone of Seth's voice caused her to smile in her sleep and nod in response to her having fallen asleep. She cracked her eyes open sleepily to watch him stretch out on the bed. "No need to tuck me in..." she yawned. "I"ll wake up in a few minutes." she mused tiredly. "Besides, it's hard to sleep without you near by." she admitted, still half asleep.

"I can stay if you like?" He pulled himself up into the bed with her, cupping her body with his and wrapping a arm around her stomach. "Besides id rather be where ever you are." He moved her hair out from behidn her neck and kissed it ever so softly.

Alex smiled, enjoying the closeness, and turned so she was facing him, leaning her head against him gently and taking a deep breath. "I like this." she said quietly, taking note that things had quieted down out in the bar. "I don't have to worry about anything like this."

"I dont know why you say that, anyone tries to come and steal from the bar im hiding behind you." He nuzzled his nose into the back of her head slowly, taking in her smell just like he had when he got here. All of it intoxicated him again, he held her a little tighter not wanting to leave; so instead he stayed.

"Whats there to steal other then booze?" she asked jokingly. She knew she'd hear anyone attempt such a stupid idea if it came down to it, but she could care less really. "The one thing I care about can't be stolen by traditional means, so what do I have to worry about?" she asked.

"If your talking about me, id be upset if you said that and then the hulk walked in here and just walked out with me." He laughed at his own stupid joke and laid there quietly for a moment. Alex snickered a bit about the hulk. "Give me more credit then that, I may be small and not built for physical fighting, but I have enough of a grasp on my ability to cause even a deaf person to lose consciousness." she snuggled closer a bit, listening to the beat of his heart, her own personal lullaby.
