~Count Lucius~  gaia_nitemareleft Lucius stopped a distance before the Castle gates where he saw guards and troops preparing frantically. It brought back to him a familiar feeling. A strong desire for war. A desire to cause carnage again as he had done so many times. War,was where the Count had been at home. But Lucius felt a sense of lacking satisfaction. It was day, and the dark queen wouldn't be as powerful as he originally thought. Lucius never liked fighting weak opponents and he wasn't about to start here. He decided to make an announcement to the castle. He stood there and yelled.. "Hello! I am Count Lucius,elder brother of Akari, and the current Vampire King! I will wait outside of your boundaries for now! Prepare yourselves however you wish! 'Come Nightfall, you will all Die! " The Count said, with a sadistic grin on his face. 'Come hell or high water, Dark Queen, you and your castle will fall before me.' gaia_nitemareright

~Rena~ gaia_nitemareleft Rena growled a little at what Lucius said and looked around. Nobody seemed to be paying any mind to her at the moment, which she found to be a good thing. With her sword sheathed on her back for now, she swiftly jumped from the guard tower that she was once perched upon and quickly landed on the ground. Rena then stood and glared at Lucius. "You pose a threat to everyone in that kingdom, when most have done nothing to you... how could you threaten innocent lives when they've done nothing wrong?! I am one of those that are innocent, and yet I am threatened!" she nearly yelled at Lucius. She was a young pureblood vampire and dark being, but she didn't look or act like it. Rena acted the age that she looked and beyond, a young girl with a very good sense of right and wrong. She slowly unsheathed her blade from its sheath on her back and held it in a defensive stance. "Forget it... I know you won't listen to a word I have to say. If I'm going to die anyway, I might as well die trying to stop you." Rena stated calmly, knowing that Lucius was much stronger than she was due to his age. She didn't care if he was stronger at this point, though. Rena only cared about giving her best to stop Lucius. gaia_nitemareright ~Yami~ gaia_nitemareleft Yami looked around, her vision becoming slightly clearer, and tried to find Rena, knowing that Rena would be one of the first to defend the kingdom. Hearing Lucius's announcement, she began to worry for Rena. Yami knew her daughter well enough to know that such words would infuriate her, and she worried when she couldn't see her. "Rena! Where are you?!" she called, but received no answer. Yami was slightly panicked at this, and came to the conclusion that she was already confronting Lucius. gaia_nitemareright

 Varieb saw the count and felt anger towards him for going into his lands and speak such annoying words of killing all of his people and his family which he felt his father tell him that he will restore his son's true power and when all a sudden his father put the fire power he sealed away from Varieb and puts it into his soul restoring his true self and that his power sky rockets and all a sudden a huge fire pillar engulfs Varieb and when the pillar dies down, he is in this new form. "Am i late guys?" Varieb said with a smile with his new hair, looks, and powers. Nikki stops to see Varieb completely transformed into a angel that has fire glowing like aura and darkness mixed which is similar to the powers of his father and realizes that Varieb is alot more stronger due to that Varieb's father before the battle restored his true power and that his darkness also got stronger and that he still has access to light powers that he gained from his mother, fire powers from his father and darkness powers created within himself."Yami and Rena look at Varieb now, he is so different." Nikki went down on one knee feeling the pressure of Varieb's power from his aura which its quite surprising.

~Count Lucius~ gaia_nitemareleft Lucius watched the young girl, intrigued. He laughed. "Innocent, huh? That's quite amusing." His smile and laugh died. "I care not for the innocent. I'll slaughter all without the single slightest distinction and enjoy every second of it! I shall take away everything the Dark Queen holds dear to her before I kill her with my own two hands! I was willing to wait until nightfall, but if you wish to fight now, I suppose I could use a warm up. Ah, but what a waste of a Vampiric being it will be.." Lucius sensed something at that moment. A greater power had been achieved behind the castle walls. He then saw Varieb undergo his transformation. 'I feel a greater power here. Someone else who rivals the Dark Queen's potential? This.. will be so much FUN!' The Count stood ready in anticipation. War was upon them and he was fixated on vengeance and slipping into madness. He was ready to go to war; with a smile. gaia_nitemareright

 Neko was out hunting near the castle when she heard the sound of battle cries and smelt smoke she motion for her pack to stay put as she made her way to the court yard until she was deep in the forest to find that Lucius had snapped.

~Rena~ gaia_nitemareleft Rena looked at Lucius, stunned by his words. He didn't seem to care in the least and she narrowed her gaze, ready to strike when she suddenly felt a strong power from behind the castle walls. She looked at the fiery pillar, but focused on Lucius again once it died down. Rena could feel the power coming from within the kingdom, nearly bringing everyone to their knees... except for Rena and her mother. They've known this kind of strength all their lives, and now they prepared to use it against a strong threat. She knew that she was being very blind to the situation due to emotion overcoming her. Suddenly, like a fire being ignited, her dark aura and fire aura manifested into a real energy and she closed her eyes for a short moment only to open them again and have her Sharingan active, on its first stage, the Single Tomo, since this was her first time using it. "Might as well get it done and over with." Rena said, standing at the ready for when he would start to attack. gaia_nitemareright ~Yami~ gaia_nitemareleft Yami was standing in Varieb's fire pillar at the moment he transformed and was nearly blinded by how bright it was. It made her collapse in weakness as she tried to keep it from burning her. When it was over, she heaved a sigh of relief and tried to stand, but she was too weak. His aura didn't bring her down, but the fire pillar has done just that. "Varieb... what happened...? I can barely see in this light..." Yami said softly, laying on the ground to try to regain her strength. She never knew that he would be right behind her when such power was released, but she couldn't see well in the bright sunlight either way. gaia_nitemareright

Varieb goes ahead and picks up Yami holding her in his arms so that she can clearly see his new red like hair, his wings are all black, eyes are red now and that she can feel his fiery aura."My father restored my true power to me, he sealed it away years ago and now he gave it back because he knew my kingdom was in danger so he knew the one thing to do was restore me back to full power." Varieb said so to his wife Yami and then turns his face to Lucius"I have to admit your power is great, you have potential but i would suggest to you to leave the area with this new power, i don't know what i can possibly do to you but you should leave the area at once before i have to get really serious about dealing with you." Varieb said it very serious as he places Yami down very gently near a tree and walks back to confront Lucius and fight him.Nikki then uses his strength and power to get up and heads over to Rena"Rena, its best to keep our distance from Varieb, his new power is very powerful and that he gained the power of fire that was his in the past and now with it completely merged into his soul, he has his old power back and that his strength has increased very high now." Nikki wanted to make sure everyone else was alright but when night falls, he will allow Rena and Yami to get involved into the fight to throw out Lucius off the land.

~Count Lucius~ gaia_nitemareleft Lucius stared at Varieb. He whistled and smiled. "That's quite a bit of power you're exuding there. I like it. But I'm afraid that won't be enough to kill me. You'll have to do better than that. But please, feel free to entertain me." He said with a grin. His eyes glew bright red and a dark aura surrounded him. " Ah hahahaha! I will still slaughter you all!" gaia_nitemareright

~Rena~ gaia_nitemareleft Rena heard Nikki tell her to be careful, but she didn't respond. She was too focused on Lucius right now and she was watching him very carefully, focusing only on him and her surroundings. When she heard him speak again, she growled a little to herself. "I won't stand for this any longer!" Rena yelled before swiftly swiftly running toward him. She jumped as she got close, then she swiftly dove down, her sword aimed directly at Lucius, and she intended to impale him though his chest. gaia_nitemareright ~Yami~ gaia_nitemareleft Yami felt Varieb pick her up and gently set her by a tree, probably to help her regain her strength. She felt his fiery aura and saw his black wings and red-looking hair, which was actually brown, but lit by his aura. "I know... your fire pillar hit me... it really hurt, too..." Yami said softly before he went to face Lucius. she could feel his presence nearby, but she didn't bother with him right now due to how weak she was. There was still an hour before the sun would set and she needed the darkness to return before she could gather any energy to restore herself. gaia_nitemareright

Neko was close enough to see the fight and saw Rena charging at Lucius she didn't know weather to stop them or just watch. she stand there motionless and unable to move. she covered her eyes then yelled "NO STOP YOU CAN KILL HIM HE'S AKARI'S BROTHER!!!" she didn't know what was going on but she did know one thing they could kill Lucius.

~Count Lucius~ gaia_nitemareleft Lucius stood where he was and allowed Rena's sword to pierce his chest. He bowed a little and was silent for a moment. But the silnce was broken. A sound was building. It was Lucius, laughing. His laugh echoed all around. "Foolish little girl, I will not die so easily. I am not like Akari or any other Vampire you've ever known! I am a genuine monster!" He tightly gripped the blade of her sword with one hand so she couldn't remove it, and her neck with the other hand. He picked her up and threw her into the castle wall with such force that it created a crater with her in the center. He then removed her sword from his chest and threw it just inches away from her head. "Now!' He yelled. "Who's next!?' Said the Count with a sadistic grin. gaia_nitemareright

Neko stop and stood in her tracks and notice an injured Rena go flying pass her. " Lucius what the hell is wrong with you? she our friend not a foe and they're not hurting anyone. the war between the darkness is over. when will you wake up and realize you can't change the pass and violence only brings more blood sled, pain, death, grieving and sadness. i don't think this is what your sister would want"

~Rena~ gaia_nitemareleft Rena felt the excruciating pain that came with being thrown against a wall so hard and she saw her sword glinting as it flew toward her at such an incredible speed. She coughed up a little blood and smiled almost demonically, laughing a little to herself as her Sharingan advanced to the next stage, Two Tomoes. "I-I... r-refuse... to give up l-like this... I will... f-fight you... to the l-last breath!" Rena stuttered before she pushed herself free from the crater and landed on her feet. By then, she had fully recovered from the initial shock of pain and was already beginning to heal. "Now then, shall we get started?" Rena said, not even thinking of using her sword to battle this time. She would use her own body and powers as weapons instead to move faster and possibly have a chance to keep up with Lucius. gaia_nitemareright ~Yami~ gaia_nitemareleft Yami looked over toward a large crashing sound that she heard coming from the castle walls. "Rena!" she yelled, hoping that she was okay. Of course, Rena was holding Lucius off for now and using very little of her strength, but it was enough to keep him busy. Yami knew that she was only trying to protect her mother while she recovered, but she feared that she would actually have to give her life to hold him off. gaia_nitemareright

~Count Lucius~ gaia_nitemareleft Lucius heard Neko's words. "You don't understand. This isn't about what Akari would want. IN fact, right now I couldn't care less about what she wants. This is what I want! And I want Vengeance! Nothing will stop me, not you and not even Akari!" His attention turned to Rena who has healed. "Oh my, you still wish to fight me? How amusing. But please, don't hold back, come at me with everything you have! I promise that before the end of this, you will tremble in fear before you die!" He stood tall and demonic; grinning from ear to ear as he was ready for her. gaia_nitemareright
