"Yea, where is he going?" Brooke asked, stepping up behind Areli as she watched Jax's retreating figure. "Don't often see him off in a hurry like that." It was amazing how fast the cub could run when he wanted to. It rather seemed as if he were sprinting off through the morning, but his run looked so effortless and easy that it made her wonder.

Rellick leapt down from the final perch and set down Naharia, stretching and yawning. He stood and smiled down at her, exiting the den to find most of his pride. Most.. But his mate was still missing.. Barely esisting the urge to growl, or rant, the Crimson King merely sighed and nodded a good morning to all there. "Good day everyone." He murmured.
Naharia peeked out from behind her father's legs and smiled shyly at the Pride, before ducking back behind her shield and shelter. She didn't really like large groups, and didn't really know if the Pride liked her, so she was a little worried about facing them.

The Warrior opened his maw to answer the femme's when Rellick appeared. "Greetings, Rellick." He rose to a sitting position, head bowed. "I believe that the Black Shadow is at the watering hole this morn."

"Aygra," Brooke persisted, bopping him on the nose with her muzzle. "Where's Jax going off in a hurry?" She stared after the eager looking cub, who was becoming smaller and smaller as he ran off to some unknown destination in the distance.

"Greetings Aygra." Rellick rumbled kindly, bowing his head slightly. His ears flicked back at the mention of Jay but he merely nodded, feeling no desire to pursue the matter further. "Thank you for that insight." He turned and smiled a greeting to Brooke, nearly laughing at her interest in Jax, he seemed to be her own cub at times. She was as protective as a mother.
Winding about her father's legs to remind him of her presence, Naharia eyed Aygra shyly from behind Rellick's crimson forelegs. She didn't yet know who the 'Black Shadow' was, nor this lion by anything other than 'Aygra' as her father had called him. Feeling hopeless she would ever meet them all and gain their friendship, she dissappeared beneath her father's form and gave a despairing mewl.

"You there, big fella, you look like you're going to laugh at something!" Brooke seemed to have decided to drop the mention of Jax at the moment, turning her 'wrath' onto the king. She gave him a look of mock stern-ness, which she held for barely a moment before she had to keep herself from bursting out in laughter.

Dolsia slunk about the shadows, looking here and there, eyes gazing over nothing for too long, thier bored stare unnerving to any who looked her dead in the eye. The large black lioness had done her best throughout her time in the pride to stay in the background. She did her work, she did it alone, and never saida word to anyone. She liked her solitary existance within the pride,...she didn't mind noone coming to her to ask for her assistance, or to 'play'. She was content.

Rellick nodded a hello to Dolsia as he saw her edging about then jumped as Brooke turned on him, laughing when she did. He shook his head and nosed her, chuckling. "For a moment there I thought I was in trouble!" He grinned.. "My default reply was "I DIDN'T DO IT!" " He shook his head. "Brooke don't do that to me!"
Naharia smiled at her father and his friends, then watched the black lioness inch about the area. She moved quietly, like a shadow, and seemed to weave through the area without anyone really noticing. Wondering who she was, Naharia peeked out from under her father's form and watched the female's progress.

"Awww, did I scare Wellick?" Brooke teased with a chuckle. She poked in with her muzzle, in response to his nosing. She grinned at him, ducking into a lazy stretch. "So, where are you headed on so fine a morning, baby king?" She asked, adding the last bit sarcastically, tipped off with yet another laugh.
((Edit smile ) Through the brightening morning, a tired figure trotted forward defiantly. Although not thin, he was bedraggled, and his fur was caked through with mud. His steps looked painful, and the pads of his paws were hard from wear. His flakes and tail drooped, although his ears were pressed forward almost eagerly. He was Cade.
And he could feel it in his flakes. They tingled strangely, as they had not tingled before. He knew it. Jax was near.
((Cade isn't going to be here in SS for long. Him and Jax are sooo... BLARGLE, that I don't think he'd survive too long in the same pride as his brother.))

Areli raised her head, smiling slightly, but, that smile faded. She saw a small cub off in the distance, and looked slightly worried. "I'll be right back." she said, jumping down off the rocks, and ran out to were she saw the kit. "You don't look so good." she said, smiling slightly as she knelt down by the cub.

"Huh?" The cub was near delirious from all the heat. He raised his head, squinting as the face in front of him blurred, and then refocused slightly, only to blur again. "Where..." He blinked, and tried to shake his head, but the effort had made the world go reeling, so he sat back with a whine. "I don' luck suh wha?"
Jax saw Areli from the distance, running toward a gray thing that he had seen, but had presumed was a rock because if it had been moving, it was so slow he had barely seen the movement. He stopped in his tracks, gazing at the waterhole, then back at Areli and the Gray Thing. Curiosity overcame him and he changed course, bounding over toward them.
As he drew up, he saw a tired-looking cub, the same age as himself, sitting back and talking to his adoptive mom. "What...?" Then he stopped. That dark-masked face was all too familiar. "Cade." He hissed venemously.
Confusedly, Cade's head swung toward Jax's voice. The white in the middle of the forehead. So.. So... "Jax!" But then just uttering that single, more excited word was too much. His eyes flipped back and he fell to the ground in a dead faint.
((Heh, poor baby xD))

The small cub collapsed near to the water. She was extremely tired and from the long walk, couldn't really move. The tan and green baby managed to crawl to the water and lick up a few laps of the liquid. Once her voice was back, she began to mew furiously, as if her life depended upon it...which frankly it did. Being abadoned by a mother that didn't want you was a heart breaker, especially for a helpless cub. Her cries were loud and tearing the silence as tried to get some attention. She got up and began to walk around sill mewing trying to find someone.

Rellick had a stronger fatherly instinct than he knew, for something drove him toward the water even though he had been in the middle of greeting his Pride. His daughter toddled along after, but he headed out at a quick trot. Near the water were paw prints of a tiny cub, who he saw wandering not far away. She was mewling as loud as she could and sounded so scared and helpless his heart crumbled, and he called to her gently. "Little One, don't be afraid.. This is Scarlet Shadows and I am its King.. I will not let any harm befall you..." He stepped toward her as he spoke, smiling gently. "Where are you from? What is your name? Are you hungary?"

Areli's eyes widened at Jax. "So, this is Cade then..." she said, remembering Jax mentioning him before. She nosed Jax's neck, before walking over to Cade, nosing him lightly. "Jax, go back to the den, now." she said, looking at the cub. "Argue and I wont be happy... just go back to the den." she said, before licking Cade's head lightly, then picking him up at the scruff, before turning towords the pride.

She didn't expect such a big male to find her. The little cub shruk herself trying to make her look as thin and not worth the time as possible. Though looking into the eyes of this one and hearing it voice, it made her less wary. She managed to mew some of the words. "K-K-King?" She said, her voice barely audible and slightly raspy. At his others words, though she barely understood, she stood up and walked over to him slowly. Her tail was still slightly between her legs and her head down as she mewed. "Y-Y-Yes...h-hungry..." She flicked her ears at his other questions. "N-N-Name? It...it is S-Synda....I'm from...O-O-Outlands...Mother...no want me..." Synda looked down as if knowing this lion didn't want her either.
