Her black mug caught his tail without hesitation. "That sounds like heaven." she smiled warmly. She was tiring easily now, especially with visitors, getting her excited. She now liked meeting others, unlike when she used to dread it. Her azure eyes caught his, hers in awe in the lion that she had never thought she would meet. She never knew where she would have ended up if she hadn't stumbled upon these lands.

"Benoni and Lady Tequila look really happy together, don't they?" Cayimmi asked, keeping one of his golden eyes open in turns, as Niobe's tongue went from side to side. He was watching the pair come and the other king go, though more focused on the earlier. "Why are you still alone, Lady Niobe?"

"Because, I...I dont know.." She sounded sad now, full of sorrow once more. "But yes, they seem very happy. Which is good for us, a cranky Benoni isnt any fun." She licked his muzzle one last time before ending his bath. "Well, dont you look even more handsome.." She said with a small smile, she gazed out over the land, to the setting sun. She feared to love again, it was dangerous, and deadly to her. Death wasnt something she was willing to deal with again.
He chuckled as he came up beside her, with a n** at her cheek. He glanced at Niobe and Cayimmi and bowed his head to the pair as he looked around. "Ayana and Mandolin have been away for a bit?" he asked with a tilt of his head, he hopped they're hunt was going well. But he needed for them to come back. He lifted his muzzle, and gave a calling roar. It was time they all learned of they're expecting Queen.

Her eyes widened she had forgotten about them, "Are they okay?" she asked. She like Ayanna and Mandolin she held them dear to her and she was now starting to get frantic, her eyes searched Benoni's for help when he called to them. Thoughts crossed her mind like flies in the heat of the summer.

Damn, I made Niobe sad... Cayimmi thought, cursing himself. How could he know, anyway? It still didn't seem like a right thing to do though, no matter what excuse he tried to find... "Well, that was stupid of me... You're not alone, Lady Niobe! Lady Fae loves you a whole lot, I've seen it, King Benoni, your brother, does so too, everyone here does so, I bet that even that strange Lady Ayana too. And, of course, Cayimmi, the Royal Dusk, is here, what better company would there be but mine?" It was a streak of inspiration, the one that had given him the idea for the nickname. But it was true his now washed pelt matched the sky and his markings the still yellow setting sun, so why not? The cub just wished he wouldn't be burying himself in a bigger hole than before though... And that Benoni wouldn't hear his speech... His blood almost froze when the question came from behind him. "Yeah, they went hunting..." he answered.

Benoni's loud roar woke Angel up. She looked around trying to figure out what had happened. Then her stomic growled and she doubled over in pain. She needed food bad. "Mommy..." She wanted Kila. She tried to get up but couldn't. She sighed and closed her eyes. Maybe more sleep would help.

Venya nodded to Fae gently, her eyes meeting the other's. The cub lightly nudged Fae's cheek with her own. "I am fine, my friend." She nodded reassuringly. Standing up, the cub shook off her pelt. "Shall we join the others?" Her tail twitched gently as she slowly came out of her crevice. The male was gone and everyone had gone back to their own little worlds. She mewed gently announcing her presence, flakes waving as she ploddled over to Niobe. "Hello, Lady Niobe, Cayimmi." She bowed gently before settling down on her haunches. She looked behind her to see if Fae was coming.

Ayana's body lowered to the ground in a crouch. "Well I say we surround them and the-" She was interupted by Benoni's roar. "Well, it seems as if we need to cut this short" She sighed and stood up, looking to Mandolin, "It seems like we should head back, our dear king calls. We can always come hunt later, I suppose" She stood and turned, waiting for Mandolin to follow before going any further.

"Indeed. Well then lets go." Mandolin said as he followed and then moved beside her. It didn't take long to arrive at where their king was waiting for them. Mandolin stopped and nodded to Benoni and then to Niobe and Kila. He caught the scent of a new lion but saw nothing of the source of the scent and so set his mind to the moment at paw. "What is it Benoni?"

Benoni beamed at Mandolin and Ayana, they both were just perfect pride memembers. He nodded his head in greeting, "Could you all please sit." He glanced to Venya, noting to see her there as well, he then looked to Niobe and Cayimmi and smiled to them as well, slowly his eyes made their rounds to all the pride memembers until they then landed on Kila next to him.
He cleared his throat slightly, making sure his voice was sound. " I have news. Good news to say the least. First of the news. I have choosen my Queen...most likely not to manys surprise. Kila, is my Queen. Our Queen." He nuzzled her cheek softly. "And, another surprise.. We're expecting cubs." He beamed full of pride now, he sat down besides Kila now, nudging her to do the same. Her swollen womb showed so well already, he couldnt wait. "And the final good news, We have gained ourselves a new ally. Which will be good incase of hard times..." He nodded his head, he never spoke to the pride as if he owned any of them. More as if they were Kings and Queens as well.

Niobe smiled down at Cayimmi, as Mandolin and Ayana arrived, and Venya came out from the cave, she turned her head to check if Fae was coming, she didnt want the little cub to become spooked. She turned her attention back to Cayimmi between her paws, she nuzzled his cheek softly with a low purr. " Yes, I know...I'm very loved and never alone. I do indeed have the best company." She smiled as she licked his cheek.
Turning her head to listen to her brother, she nodded her head. Closing her eyes she rememebered a speech simular to this, long ago. When she was a young lioness, she could see her blood hued mate beside her. His words echoed out empty in her heart now, her belly ached with pains long forgotten as her eyes snapped open, she was thrilled for her brother and Kila, she loved the lioness upon meeting her. Instant friends indeed, but she could only pray, that they met a different fate than she.

Fae smiled softly at Venya, her answer in the form of one simple bob of her head. She trotted gingerly behind the young Seer, relieved that she was alright... and glad to be returning to Niobe's side, of course. It was getting to be late by then. Even if the kitten hadn't been very tired to start with, the long day was beginning to take its toll on her.
She paused mid-step as Benoni began his speech, promptly flopping down onto her rump when he requested it of them. It was indeed good news. Thank goodness. Fae hadn't gotten the chance to know either of them very well as of yet (and honestly, had yet to get over her initial wariness where the pair was concerned), but she could at least appreciate that they seemed happy.
Congratulations weren't something she could give out freely, naturally. So the kitten settled for bowing in the new queen's direction. Hoping that would suffice, she was quick to shuffle along towards Niobe.

Ayana sat somewhat apart from the others, somehwere between Niobe and Mandolin. She absorbed Benoni's words slowly, a small meek smile appearing on her lips. She lowered herself to the ground slightly in a nod-like bow. She was silent, though, eyes wandering towards Benoni and Kila as she raised herself back into her upright position. She didn't know what to think, really. She wasn't suprised that Benoni has chosen Kila for his mate, and was happy for them. After all, her once feeling for Benoni were quite small... Or so she liked to tell herself, anyways.

Tequila's expression faded as quickly as it had come, no one seemed to be as happy as she was...Niobe seemed happy but yet full of sorrow perhaps something of her own past, Ayanna she had no idea but as she caught her eye she felt odd even the little cub seemed some what awkward...the only thing she could tell herself was that it would get better. Tequila smiled to the little cub, she didn't understand how a Queen was supposed to act all she knew was she was Benoni's and that was all that mattered.

Cayimmi grinned, relieved as he saw Niobe lighten up for moments. Turning his head to watch Benoni, he didn't notice the worry in her eyes as the news were given. They were certainly awesome news but, despite his joy, the purple cub wasn't just going to have an outburst. It wasn't proper of a lion as regal as he was, right? Still, his happiness showed on his golden eyes, unable to contain it.
His attention turned quickly to Fae, as she scurried towards them. "Lady Fae seems troubled, so I'll give her my place, Lady Niobe." Cayimmi announced, stepping away from Niobe's embrace. "Feeling better, Lady Venya?" he asked the small Seer, seating by her side.
