Picking up to boost self esteem isn't a good thing to do. Can lead to nasty destructive cycles, you can end up being the meat in a spit roast and regretting it horribly.

Mmm, I think there is a difference between relying on something to provide you with self esteem and having a self esteem boost. Relying on any single thing (outside of yourself) for self esteem can have a negative impact. Whether it be other people finding you attractive or getting good grades or whatever. But I tend to think of a self esteem boost more like a...well... boost =P I have decent self esteem but it is always nice to have someone find you attractive =P

I agree with Mystic and Em. Picking up solely to boost your self esteem isn't a really good idea and usually leads to further trouble and traumatic break-ups further down the line. After all, when your self-esteem is low, it is easy to get fooled by a handsome guy or a beautiful girl who pretends to offer support and moral comfort. My self-esteem is pretty much high all the time, and I've survived quite well without ever needing to actively try to pick up.

I confess I have eaten TOO many cookies. Like 30 today I think. And about the same yesterday.

I confess to eating lots of cookies lately too. Mainly shapes. My mum bought more than 18 shapes packets a few weeks ago and since then I've been eating nothing but them for breakfast. xd It's practically the only thing I can eat. I dislike eating toast and there's no good cereal about.

I confess to having Apple Pie flavoured ice cream on the weekend, it really taste like apple pie and was the best flavour i've ever had, sooo good, although cinammon flavour is also pretty damn good and ranks up very high in the ice cream department
