Yukia walked on as nothing seemed to be happening at the moment. As she walked she looked around and felt the darkness of the place slowly getting stronger. "Wow maybe I should have brought a flashlight or something, at least it isnt too dark to see by yet" She smiled as she walked onwards not looking back she was determined to get this place where the past is manifested so she could get the Chronostone and be off to complete her first mission.
Venturing further the child would be surprised to find the world taking on a much pinker hue than previously. The further down the tunnel she traveled the brighter the lights became. Like fireflies small glowing pink balls of 'light' hung in the air, falling gently like snow. Further still the child would find a large chamber, perfectly circular, and minus the various oddities which normally dotted this cavern.
Sigils and runes in both white and pink were spread across the floor and walls, each interconnected as if spelling out some sort of message; and on the far side was a door, and standing before it a Pokemon unlike most had ever actually witnessed. With a metallic body made of multiple keys and a single loop, any child who's been told a bedtime story would recognize the fairy Klefki, and as it floated there it would chant, inserting each of it's keys into the door one at a time.
Distracted as it seemed to be the child could probably walk right by if she was silent, or perhaps she could stay and watch...although given the appearance of the room and the thrum of power it might be wiser to stop the Pokemon before it was finished!
Yukia spotted the Klefkie and she had indeed been told the bed time stories about this pokemon. She knew it was a fairy and steel type pokemon and they would guard the keys on their loop till they died. She stopped and could not pass up the opportunity to try at catching this pokemon. She unclipped Chrome's pokeball and let the Shieldon out. "Hey Klefkie stop what your doing! I challenge you! She let out a shout loud enough to wake anything that was sleeping. Her Shieldon looked at her like she was crazy.
Chrome looked at the Klefkie and then back at her trainer. She thought her trainer was crazy since they could have tried to sneak by. But it seemed that after the Durant capture that her trainer was getting a bit more confident. She could tell she was slower than the Klefkie so she knew she would be on the defensive first off.

Reacting to the girl's call the Klefki would turn around sharply, it's body catching as two of it's keys were already inserted into the door. ">No! None must interfere! I must open the way, and until his Majesty's return I shall guard it!<" The Fairy Shouted, eyes narrowing on the Shieldon before announcing quite loudly ">YOU SHALL NOT PASS!<"
After that...nothing. Or so it seemed, the Klefki didn't move an inch despite the indication it was going to protect something from these intruders; yet if one watched closely they would notice it's other keys turning silver...they didn't usually do that. The Gate Guardian was strengthening his body, turning himself into an unbreakable lock....with Iron Defense!
{I hope this is what I do when the attack is successful and its not damaging.}

As the Klefkie did not strike out Yukia did see a slight shinning. She guessed it had used a non damaging defense rasing move. She bit her lip and thought about hitting the Klefkie hard with a double edge but that would be painful for Chrome too. She shook her head and let her worries go away. "Well if you are not going to strike first I will, use Double Edge Chrome" She called out, she did not really want to rely on a move that wouldnt be that effective but it was all she had and her Durant was too hurt for this battle.
The Shieldon sighed and stamped her hooves ">I am tired of hearing about a master... first about a lord of the fairies from that Carbink now you, do you, a fellow steel type really see this lord as worthy of you?<" She began to charge at the Klefkie who was floating in the air so it would be hard to tell if there was a hit or not.

">Steel is but my shell mortal; if you think you can best the Guardian of the Gate than come on, come and get me!<" The Klefki barked, unflinching even in the face of an attack as powerful as the one heading straight for him. The door was his charge, and today the time to see it opened. No matter the cost he would see his duty through, and no child was going to stop him!
Bracing his back against the door, the Fairy-Type's keys would jingle as it moved into a better position. With a solid surface at his back there would be none who could defeat him, none who could pass him!
[19-10]+[8-14] = 3+5 8x 0.5 = 4 dmg to klefki, 4/5= 0.8 round up 1 dmg to Chrome]

The Klefki would be slammed hard into the door, its own metal hide getting a small dent put into it as Chrome slammed into it. Yukia watched this and thought quickly of what must be done to now that it was a close fight. Chrome had effectively pushed passed the defense of the Klefki somewhat. "Chrome prepare for its strike back at you!" She let out a yell. She would either beat the Klefki, catch it or run from it, like she had to the last time she had fought a fairy. She just thought of what to do as she watched for the next time she had a chance to attack.
The Shieldon's head smashed into the Klefki, hard and she moved back and watched the Klefki for its counter strike. She would either absorb its attack and be left unharmed or it would make its defense higher. ">Cowered you hide behind your iron defense come and face me like a true pokemon would!<"

">You will meet your fate soon enough beast!<" The Klefki shouted, keeping his back to the door which hadn't even been scratched by their attack ">I am a Guardian, my loyalty to the King and my duty to this door! So long as it remains intact I shall not yield!<" Again the Fairy's body would begin shimmer silver, his already tough metal exterior reworking itself and hardening further. Given enough time and effort the Guardian could make his defense truly unstoppable, and then he could take his time with these ruffians.
The glow of the Klefki would fade as the move it was using seemed to not work right. Yukia took this chance opening and smirked. "Chrome another Double Edge!" She called out with a bright smile. She wanted to try at least to catch another pokemon, do more than what she had to she thought. She watched as her Shieldon stomped its hooves and went int for an up close Double Edge hit.
Chrome stomped her hooves hard and charged for a close range strike, after all she was still right up at the Klefki. She ran her head ready to slam into the other steel type.

Although his move had failed, and thus far he had been fighting a losing battle, the Klefki had lost none of his confidence nor desire to see his mission through to the end. Beady black eyes narrowing upon the Shieldon, the Fairy's ring would suddenly jingle, it's two remaining keys sliding together as it shifted it's body and swung them forward at Chrome's face ">KNOW YOUR PLACE!<" He bellowed as he attempted to slap the Shieldon.
The attempt to slap her made the Shieldon veer off course. "Chrome do not let it get behind you keep your hard face plate in line to stop the attack" She let out a cry of shock as she watched Shieldon nearly hit the wall. She bit her lip and thought of what to do she had to do something, yes they were doing better than the Klefki right this moment but still a battle anything could happen in it, and it could easily turn on them as well as be great for them.
Chrome shook her head as she turned and looked back at the Klefki ">Bah I know my place you however seem to want to hide behind a shield and use dirty tricks against me! How low can a steel type sink!<"

Swinging back into his original position, the remaining two keys positioned by their corresponding locks, the Klefki gave a small humph as he stared at the opposing Shieldon ">I wouldn't expect a mere beast to understand the ways of the Fairy, but know my conviction is as strong as STEEL!<" Once more the Klefki's entire body would begin to glow with the light of Iron Defense, his body essentially reforging itself to become stronger and increase his defense. ">Come at me, and see the difference between us cur!<"
Despite this being a bad time at throwing a pokeball Yukia would attempt it. She took out a Pokeball and took in a deep breath as she threw it at the Klefki "If this doesnt work I am running, cause this would be a long drawn out battle otherwise" She said this to herself as she looked as the ball hit the Klefki sucking it in with a red light and the ball hit the ground and began to shake. She bit her lip and got ready to recall Chrome if the need to run arose.
Chrome was about to scream back at the Klefki when it was taken into a pokeball. What was her trainer thinking it was not that weak it would most likely break free.

As the fates would have it the Shieldon was wrong, the Klefki wouldn't break free...because the ball never even reached it's target. Her throw going wide the Pokeball would smack into the door a inches up and to the right of the Fairy-Type, the sphere shattering into pieces on contact with the hard surface. His body showered with tiny fragments of the ball, the Klefki would look up briefly in confusion before centering his gaze upon Yukia ">Your beast cannot harm me, so why would a simple orb fair any better!<" Apparently the Pokemon had never seen a PokeBall before.
As the ball shattered Yukia gritted her teeth this defensive Klefki would have been a great addition to her team but that looked like it wouldnt be happening now. She closed her eyes and thought about running and she decided it may be for the best. "Chrome hold of the next attack then we will get out of here" She said with a slight annoyance but it was more at herself for trying to catch a pokemon that was not weak enough.
Chrome rolled her eyes and watched the Klefki ">Are you going to fight like a true pokemon now or be a coward!<"
