mysticaingeal I confess that I am madly in love with the Doctor. I can't believe I've gone for so long without knowing him! ask him out, tell him you has this weird feelin in your heart, like something goin ping and then you feel all warm and happy, and say it only happens when he's around o_0 and see what he says. or maybe he'll just think you're weird.

We get like 3 weeks, although there's not much break. Just more time to do assignments and attend res schools hooray!!!
The Doctor is pretty osm. Am loving the current series.

Nah, I still think the exams finish at the same time as last year. They're just really cutting down on the number of lectures and tutorials per week, whilst at the same time increasing class sizes. Heck once uni starts again next week, there will only be four more proper weeks before the SWOT VAC and the exam period begins.

Hmmm... well you're in the arts faculty so I suppose it would seem that way to you because of all the cutting subjects, etc.
I think commerce already has larger-than-they're-meant-to-be tutorials, so I don't see them getting much bigger.
Not to say that I approve... xp
When I said 'later', I meant later than the other universities.
My Monash and Deakin friends only have three weeks left of proper classes, and Monash only has three days of SWOT VAC. Their official exam period finishes a week earlier than ours, but it depends on your individual timetable I suppose...

Now I see what you mean. Monash, Deakin, Latrobe and RMIT finish even earlier than us, which means by the end of October pretty much everyone from those universities would be finished.
And yeah the Arts faculty is a piece of s**t now. I haven't actually had any direct contact with it for a whole year now(In fact the only time I went inside the Old Arts building was during Manifest xd ). The number of subjects that have been cut has been ricdulous. I'm lucky if the subjects I want to do next year are even still available.
