Erik suddenly remembered that his grandfather was not only named Erik, but he was also hunted by Krious. But for Erik Jr.'s father, Krious didn't trouble them. What happened in between? "Anyway, I was thinking that I could run home and grab one of my grandfather's journals. He talks a lot about the 'Mental Element' and also about about how the mind, body, heart, and soul are connected. I usually have no clue what he's talking about, but I read somewhere that he had found a way to recover someone's lost memories. He just needed to work with a friend of his who had amazing mental powers."

Rin laughed."How do you know that I'm strong enough?"Rin asked Erik.It was hard for her to beleive that not to long ago she had been perfectly happy.Than Micha left and now she was reading minds.It troubled her slightly.
Micha chuckled.

Karoline watched the scene from afar. So, Erik thought he was hunting her, huh? Wrong. Karoline was still in control. And it would stay that way unless Erik decided to try and kill his ex-girlfriend.

As Erik walked off, he couldn't help but laugh a little. Delete your 'anatomy'? Man, that's the funniest thing I've heard all week! And I'm only going to get my laptop, which was, of course, confiscated by hospital staff.

"Nice one Rin!" she yelled, smirking.
"What's 'anatomy' mean?" Blade asked, looking at Kikyo. She sighed. "What?!"
"I wonder how you could have been book smart and not street smart..." Kikyo muttered, sighing. "Did that mind erase-thing kill your brain or something?!"
"I thought you were the machine guru!" Blade asked, using a smart-alec tone.
"Yeah, I've made my diagnosis." Kikyo mumbled, sighing. "That machine turned you stupid." she smiled at Blade with a mischievous grin.
"Should I be afraid...?" he asked, looking at Rin and Micha.
"Only if she finds a chainsaw..." Kikyo whispered, hiding behind the tree.

"Did someone say chainsaw? I'm fairly certain I have one in the trunk..." Erik smiled as he drove up in a van. "We'll get no where quickly on foot. Anyway, we might as well have something that no one's gonna notice. The cops won't find us, because there's about, what, 600 plain white vans on the street? No one will no it's us."
