Tomoda helped Sam into the carriage and almost the same time she sat the carriage started to move
“I am taking you to one of my favorite spots Miss Samantha I think that you will enjoy the food here it is classic Corgonian style and some of the best rustbaw you will ever have is sold there.”“Will Mr. Tomoda I have never had what was it rustbaw before what is it?”
“Oh my really you have never really lived then have you. My my my I thought every one in Corgon had at least tried it. Its wine my dear and a favorite of our queen which is why it is so popular. If it is good enough for her then her subjects want to know of it and try it to.” Tomoda explained
“Oh” said Sam “So the queen is a trend setter is she?”
“Oh yes if she wears a new style then all the high end shops will have a knock off of it the very next day that is the way it is here in Stagehigh the capital city of Corgon.”
“Oh wow is that were we are ok… will your city is so beautiful I have never seen anything like it before"
“So this is your first time here in Stagehigh I did not want to be rude ask. Well then I would love to show you more of it after our luncheon would you like that?”
"yes, I think I would" Sam said looking out of the window Tomoda smiled and looked out over her shoulder then pointed to a large building high on a hill over looking over the city
"That is the palace where our lovely Queen Padona lives"
"Wow its so big" Sam awed
“Well the royal court is there too and that takes up a lot of the buildings”Tomoda said sweetly purring in Sam’s ear
“I see how much longer it is before we reach the tavern good sir?” Sam said move away form the closeness of Tomoda
"Please call me Tom and we are…,” tom said looked out the window, “almost there now… see?”
He pointed again this time to cute little cottage type of house the driver slowed to a stop and then opened the door Tom exited first then held out his hand for Sam. She jumped down with out taking it "this is cute Mr. err I mean Tom”
he just smiled “Yes I come here often I like it above all others” He then turned and said something to his diver then he turned back to Sam
“Shall we malady?”
They walked in to the tavern and Sam fell in love it right away. Hogfinders was its name Sam had seen the painted sign when they came in. It was well lit and very clean. It had stone floor and hand hinge wooden tables with four or two chair at each. On its walls there were drawings of different places around Corgon Sam assumed the frames where hand caved and very pretty. On the middle wall there was a map of Corgon it took up most of the wall at the top of the map in beautiful handwriting it said 'Corgon and the loyal states of such' Sam could not help but smile she was in love with the whole style of the restaurant
“I can see why you like it here” Sam said as Tom pulled out a chair for her

"Well nothing to do now but...drink?" Alex muttered too himself. He didn't know where the idea of drinking came from but for some reason it just came to him. He walked for a while and eventially found a tavern. He walked in casually, a few beings turned too look at him but after a minute they returned to their conversations. He walked up to the bar and sat down. "Strongest and cheapest thing you've got" Alex said to the barkeeper who nodded and crabbed a glass and poured a dark amber liquid into the glass. Alex took a sip. He had Sake once, at his cousin's wedding, it had burned his throat quiet abit. Alex could tell this stuff was strong but didn't feel any sort of burning so he took a deeper drink, still no burning, if anything it felt cold, like water. He set the glass down and the bar keeper went to refill but Alex held up his hand. "Ones all I can afford" He said the bartender nodded and went to serve another customer. At the back a large beefcake of a person stood and started shuffling for the door. "Hey Brutus, when you gonna pay that tab of your's, it's bigger then you are!" The bartender shouted at the big man who turned. Smack dab in the center of his forehead was a gaint single eye. Alex looked at him then went back too drawing in the dust. Cyclops He thought. "Whenever I feel like it you old fart!" The cyclops known as Brutus said then turned and kept shuffling for the door, obviously drunk. Alex waved the bartender over. "I'm a nice guy so I'll make you a deal, If I can get Lummaks over their to pay his tab, that drink and another one like it are on the house, deal?" The bartender nodded, obviously doupting alex could do it. "Oh...and any damages are added too his tab" Alex added before spinning around on his stool and getting up. "Hey...Fat-eye...pay your stinking tab before I have to hurt you, you overgrown peice of lard" The cyclops turned around grabbing a large single headed axe off it's back. "What did you say punk! I'll grind you to dust" The cyclops roared and stepped closer, he was nearly twice as tall as Alex. "Wow talk about drunkard breath, you don't need that axe, all you gotta do is breathe in the general direction and you could kill someone...and honestly didn't anyone teach you to brush your teeth?" Alex said lifting his arm up over his nose."Why you Dumbass, your dead" Brutus said and brought his axe around the cut Alex in two. Alex rolled to the side stood and flipped onto a table. "Geez, someone's got issues...I guess daddy din't hug little brutie enough, huh?" He taunted. The Cyclops spun and brought the axe down vertically Alex lept to the side again, rooled towords the cyclops and brought his knee up and slammed it into the cyclop's gut.

Alex pulled his knee back then ducked and spun, kicking the cyclops in the back of the knee, causing the big beast to topple over onto it's back. Alex reacted quickly and stood then stammped his foot down onto the chest of the cyclops. "Now...let's descuss how your gonna pay...let's start by giving your axe too the bartender to sell then once he's sold it we'll move on from their...K?". The cyclop's single eye was wide open. obviously this was the first time it had not only been disarmed but knocked flat onto it's back by something smaller then it was.

"Now I suggest you go home and get anything of value and sell it, then once sold you bring the money back here and pay the bartender your tab, then afterwards you only drink what you can pay for...ok?" The cyclops nodded slowly. "Good" Alex took his foot off and went to the bar. "I ment now dirtbag!" Alex yelled, flames flaring out of his armor. The Cyclops jumped too his feet and ran as fast as his legs would allow out of the tavern, knocking several people in the crowd outside over as he ran home to find anything to sell. Alex sat back down at the bar and set the massive axe on the counter. "Here's your first payment, I'm sure your'll receive the rest in the near future" Alex said. The bartender looked both impressed and scared at the same time. He poured Alex his second glass and Alex, drank it slowly.

Alex nearly choked on the drink when he heard Sam's voice. He looked over at her. "I don't know, how big is it gonna be?" He asked then laughed abit. "What happened to you, I woke up from a nap and you were gone, then I found this weird portal thing and now...you know where the heck we are?" He asked.

"I was looking for you, I thought you were just trying to play a joke on me but then I found that portal thing. I went throught an like you nearly got crushed by a cart, I rooled out of the way say you collasped in a pile of hay. I couldn't find a way across the street but when I did you were gone. I came here becasue I had nothing else to do, I mean where would I start looking for you?" Alex said then finished the rest of his drink.

"My name's Alexander, but you can call me Alex, I'm a good friend of Sam's" Alex said.
