Sorrow sighed seeing the closed sign hanging in Ive's. She nestled down on the steps dragging her wings around to keep her sides warm while she draped her coat over the front she no more then closed her eyes and she difted off to sleep.

Vermillion arrived in the morning, and stood at the door to Ive's looking at Sorrow sleeping beside the door. He shook his head and sat on the other side of the door. "You can't tell me that was the most comfortable sleep you had." Sorrow opened her eyes and she stretched her arms; "Yeah well your the one who said to come straight here. So what's the major emergency to drag Kaos, who was injured mind you, all the way here?" Vermillion sighed; "It frosted yesterday and Anabel flipped out, she pretty much gave me no option but the highway, and after a moment of weakness I'm back here. What were you doing that took so long?" Sorrow stood up stretching her wings; "The next time i get the bright idea to bleach my wings, I want you to pound me in the face repeatedly until I change them back, because it didn't go as I thought it would. I was better off just showing up as I was, but after that whole mess, I went through sort of a midlife crisis, then Toole went to do is one week a year at the Asylum, that ended badly, Ailes got involved, his daughter Jez was attacked by the person she loved. Now my step mom, her three youngest, Ailes, Jezabelle, and Cynthia."
Vermillion sighed; "Well is Jezabelle okay, and did she ever pass that test she was trying to accomplish?" "She is in good hands as far as condition, time will tell, and as far as the test goes I'm not really sure she passed the test but she got good enough to shoot a fireball if you call that a breakthrough."

Ive shuffled out her bedroom door and into the dining room to find it empty. "What the...." she mumbled to herself as she began to round the bar to head into the kitchen.
"Goodmorning Ive!" Onora chimed as she dashed out the kitchen door with a tray full of breakfast foods, "I knew you'd be hungry this morning so I made plenty! I also closed the diner, because i didn't know what you would look like when you came shuffling out your bedroom door."
Ive smiled, "Thanks.... Onora.... But i'm really not hungry... Where's Kaos?"
Onora set the tray down and pondered, "I'm sure he's at his study in the academy... Why?" Before she could get another word out Ive was out the door, Sword in hand.
Her heart pounded up in her head as she stormed down the stairs to her bar, tears stinging her eyes. 'That b*****d is gonna....' She looked just to the left of her and noticed a half sleeping sorrow and vermillion standing near her. Ive turns away from the two and begins storming down the street, her sword trembling in her hands.

Vermillion looked at Sorrow, and she dusted herself while stretching her wings. "Do I get hazard pay for what you're asking of me?" Vermillion smiled; "Keep her from completing what I think she intends to do and yes i will pay you your weight in gold, or if you stick with this whole endeavor I give you the strongest weapon to come out of my family in 8 centuries."
Sorrow smiled; "You know I have a soft spot for insanely powerful weapons." Sorrow ran after Ive coming up beside her just out of sword reach; "So who exactly has you running down the street at half past the crack of dawn with the intent to harm in your eye?"

Vermillion strode up the steeps and into the bar closing the door behind him. He strode to the bar and sat down he waited for Onora's reaction before asking his question.

"M'yesh good sir... Would you like some breakfast... It would seem I made too many things and there's no one to eat them..." Onora sighed and rested her hands on her hips, "Ugh.... I'll go get some milk." she returned to the kitchen and grabbed some milk. She set it on the bar and smiled, "So what can i do for you..."

Ive shook her head, "Never mind it... Just help yourself to a room... Sorry we shut down early yesterday..." she picked up her pace as she began choking up. He was coming and she knew it... She could sense his magic all around her.
Raising her sword over her head she charged forward, and just as Kaos appeared she brought it down by his shoulder, just for him to raise his hand and catch the blade, "My my my... What anger you have in the morning."
She looked shocked when the blood began running down his arm. she had actually hit him... In all her years of swinging that sword at him, she had actually succeeded at damaging his perfect body. Releasing the sword, she watched the crimson fluid flow from his hand and covered her mouth in shock.
Kaos flipped the sword, grabbing it by the hilt and stabbed it into the ground. Not wanting to waste the energy healing it he wrapped a bit of cloth around it and smiled, "Was it all you thought it would be and more?"
Tears streamed from Ive's eyes as she ran into his arms and cried.
"Come on love... Cheer up... I thought you would be happy to know your daughter was fine... Was i wrong?" he asked a he embraced her and rubbed her back softly.
She shook her head no and continued sobbing.
"Well then," he took his good hand and brushed a tear from her face, "Let's stop the crying and try to work up the courage to let me bring her to see you sometime... Alright."
Ive nodded slowly and wiped her eyes.
Kaos kissed her forehead and pulled the blade from the ground, "Here... You should be getting back to the inn alright... I'll be right behind you."
Ive took her sword and shuffled passed Sorrow like a scolded child and made her way back to the inn.
Kaos nodded to sorrow and scratched the back of her head, "I always wondered what she would do if i let her hit me.... Guess i found out now huh..."

Sorrow looked less then pleased at this new development; "You're lucky you got what you got, I wouldn't have faltered at the sight of blood, but explain to me why it took you so long to come back here?"

"Enlisting your aide in making the biggest surprise happen, and all it will take is to confirm that your delivery from Anabel will be on time." Vermillion set the box out and opened the lid, he pulled the note aside so Onora could get a good view of the highly detailed butterfly promise ring. "So you think you can help me out by playing a small role in the delivery of the box? That and I'll need a plate, those eggs are smelling rather good."

Onora just set the huge plate of eggs in front of vermillion with a fork, "Y'know.... that's a really personal and important thing in a woman's life... And i think you should do it yourself... However, I can lure her to a place for you to propose to her. Sound good?"

Kaos ran his fingers through his hair to by some time to think of a clever thing to say, "Wellll, I'm exhausted. Flat out exhausted. I've run to my limits and I'm still running using energy I don't have. I went to my study in the Academy and went to sleep." he looked at the ground and sighed, "Sorry... Guess i didn't realize you were waiting on me..."

Sorrow walked forward with purpose and latched a hold of his good hand; "We'll then, you're officially on an energy diet, use only what you absolutely need in order to function. No more teleporting all over the world. I'll fly you where you need to go, OR you get that lazy smith out of Ive's and have him fly us around to places. You get stitches in that hand. So trim it down where you can, and put people to work. Now c'mon, you are getting a proper breakfast, and there is no option out" Sorrow began edging slowly to follow the now distant Ive waiting for Kaos to move with her.

Kaos smiled, "Alright, But I don't think i will be leaving Nictaros any time soon, so I will just go to Vaine's house and borrow Demon for the time I am in town." he began following sorrow up to the inn and tucked his good hand into his pocket, "Also, Vaine can probably heal my hand."

"That's great thinking, just have to get used to the whole you being 12 again." Sorrow trod along; "After I eat, I'm going to search out a massage, I think I kinked my wing something awful."

Vermillion was half way through the plate of eggs.

"Vermillion...." Onora finished wiping off the bar and placed her hands on her hips, "If you're going to be there why do i have to present and read it?"

Kaos nodded, "I actually taught a massage class at the academy, So i can guarantee they have excellent skills. However i need to get to the inn, steal some tea to make a really powerful potion and hopefully get my body back..."

Vermillion laughed; "Relax, I was only fooling, just don't let my name drop while you're arranging our little meeting."

"Well my dad makes these little pieces of candy, that accomplish in giving you a boost of power for high end spells. I have a few pieces if that will help." Sorrow started up the steps of the Inn.

Onora watched him suspiciously, "Alright.... I'll have her meet you by the river, alright?" she placed a pint glass on the shelf and sighed, "Y'want anything else this morning?" she asked as she turned to face Vermillion and leaned against the cupboard.

Kaos smiled, "That would be wonderful... It would help out a lot when it comes to breaking the seal." he opened the door for her and held it, "After you."

"Works for me, and no I'm fine. There is a few places i have to get to first before she gets there." Vermillion stood up and set the correct amount down for meal. He went over and stood to the side of the doorway.

Sorrow went inside; "Such a gentlemen, and I'd better get them out of my pocket into a more stable environment so their strength doesn't deteriorate."
Sorrow sat down at the bar; "You're looking rather cheerful this morning Onora."

Onora smiled, "We might be having a wedding soon." waving the thought past she laid down a menu and handed Kaos his tea, "So what Will it be Sorrow?"
Kaos took his tea with a slightly surprised look on his face, "Is Ive alright?"
She nodded, "She came shuffling in and went straight back to her room..." noting kaos's open hand Onora came around the bar, "did Ive do that?!" she gasped as she opened the cloth and examined the gash.
"Yeah... But I let her..." Kaos sighed, "Would you be a dear and heal it for me? Kaosti would be pissed if i gave him his body back in such conditions..."
Onora smirk filled with curiosity, "Grandchild?"
He grinned, "From Akuma... Of course she's already left his father... I could see it wasn't going to work out, but I couldn't ruin it for her."
Onora pressed into Kaos's wound and scowled, "Don't act like you know what's going to happen in relationships... It would shock you how strong of a bond love really is."
Wincing he nodded, "Alright, Alright... But i have a lot of research to get to so can you heal me?"
Onora rolled his fingers in and a bright light filled his hand. when she released him, he opened his hand and there was a small line in the center of his palm, "There, Now get to your research... You have a bride to save."

Sorrow listened; if she could burn a hole in the menu with her gaze she would have, but she settled for the rising static in her hair which aggravated her even more at its discomfort. However, when she turned around she was as sweet sounding as she was when she came in. "I would like two pancakes, three meat vegetable omelet, a hot towel, and whatever is on the burner to drink so long as it's hot I don't care."

Vermillion slipped out the door closing it behind him and made his way down to the furniture store. He browsed through the selection of padded chairs and found one he thought would go with the decoration in Anabel's house. He deliberately overpaid, but he had no sooner then set the money on the counter he was back to carry the chair out the door.
