Annabella frowned at her. "Why did you cut of the connection when I was listening to you?" She had to protect Coleman. She had promised her sister. She had to keep him safe at all costs.

Shay stayed upbeat. "It was a private talk. Don't worry...you'll find out soon enough. Now, if you like, because it does involve you if Coleman wants it to. But you might as well know while he's calming down Tsubaki."

"We have to train him." Shay sat down on the floor heavily, thinking of what was to come. She didn't know what else to say. When Annabella didn't inquire why, Shay figured she might as well go ahead and say it. So, she took a deep breath and whispered:
"He's the Child of the Sun."

[[Agh! One day of band and I'm so behind!! But LOL "I AM NOT A TODDLER!" That post kind of proved itself wrong...]]
"No he doesn't. He's human." Kordeth muttered, sitting down beside Annabella and Shay. "Sorry to interrupt, but are you absolutely sure he's a Child of the Sun? It just doesn't make any sense!"
Callyn tried to help Adaric and Alice in calming the child down.
Natalie, however, was still frightened. Why had this lady she didn't know just pick her up all of the sudden? What was going on? Why did Mr. Coleman and Miss Annabella say something about magic? Drying her eyes, she looked up at the lady who had picked her up. "What's going on?" she sniffled.
Tsubaki's nails started to draw blood from her hands as her pain continued. Suddenly, visions of fairies she had killed in the army flashed through her head. The laughed at her, mocked her, and kicked her.
"Who's the victim now?" they would sneer.
Tsubaki bit her lip, letting out another scream.

"I'm not sure but it will be okay." Alice said following Coleman's orders and leaving the house with Callyn and Adaric.

"I'm sure," Shay murmured lightly. "He fits the description lightly. And we have to train him to use his powers...for good," she added, to make sure Kordeth understood. She seems kind of...human-hating. First impressions can be wrong, but she isn't exactly being quiet about it. "He fits the prophesy exactly. And I witnessed the prophesy myself. My mother had it when I was very young. She drew pictures of him continuously after having the prophesy...and only met him once, but it was before she had the prophesy. She was obsessed. She left to find him, but my father killed her before she could go. I've been searching for him since my adopted mother died. It's him. Any other questions?" she asked, grimacing as she heard the screaming continue.

Coleman stuck his hand between Tsubaki's teeth so she wouldn't bite her toungue off accidentally and to muffle the screams. He tried to shake Tsubaki awake, yelling into her ear "Tsubaki! Wake up!"

"That's true," Shay agreed with Annabella. "Also, the prophesy does state that the Child of the Sun will be human. There's one every hundred years...and he's the one of our century. I'm sure of it. We have to be very careful around him, though. He has greater power than he thinks. Only a powerful aura could be that...colorful." Unwillingly, she had seen his aura, and the first time, it had shocked her. So bright and colored-out. Shay knew from experience that hers was mostly purples, blues, and greens, and her mother's had been bright yellow and green. Her father's had been an angry red with gray in it.
But Coleman's...it had more colors than she could name. More power than she could name.

Annabella plopped down on the ground, clearly pissed. "I should have checked his aura..." She mumbled. "I usually check anyone who comes to this part of the woods, I just..... forgot."

"Not your fault. I can't help seeing them...but I tried to hide my surprise as best I could until we could talk in private, Annabella." Shay wrapped an arm around her friend's shoulder. She whispered quietly, "I missed you, Annie."
