Menace_Bunny My mother worries that most of my clothes are black, my answer to this is "anything goes with black...especially black" lol So true. My mom seems to think black is just evil and she's always trying to dress me up in little girly clothes that say princess or angel or have sparkly flower designs and are 10 sizes too small. talk2hand Makes me want to throw up... She even tried to stop me from lighting a black candle in memory of the Man in Black. @_@

Takuya Kanbara I want a bass, I actually know how to play it. But I can't play regular guitar for my life...^^ Playing bass was the only reason I even wanted a regular guitar... The bass is the backbone of it all, the guitar is the showpiece, the drums keep it steady and the vocals add different meaning. I started playing guitar, I can play competently but it didn't make me as happy as the day I picked up the bass and gave it a go. I also used to play keyboards, which was fun but it was like playing guitar, I didn't have enough passion when I played those. With bass I can play happy, sad, angry, remorseful, questioning emotions, I connect with it. With keyboards I can only play melancolic and with guitar I can only play sad and angry. If bass is what calls to you when you're meant to play it, but don't give up on the other instruments becuase they help you put the bass in perspective.

You've never tried so you never know, give it a go sometime if you can ((huggles)) whee I might be able to afford one soon and if I can't, my friend has offered several times to give me one. I don't know, I just give up too easy on stuff. I only know one song on the harmonica, which I've had almost a year, and I still make mistakes on that... But thanks for teh hugs. 4laugh Oh, and that was a most eye-opening post with regards to the bass. 3nodding
