"> You never seen a cutief- Waah! <" Deneb had broken his focus and, unable to aim properly, made a crash landing straight on the ground. His long mouth was stuck deep in the earth below him, and no matter how hard he pulled it didn't seem like he could get it to budge more than a quarter of a centimeter at a time. He tried nonetheless though, knowing full well that if he failed to pull himself out in time he'd be taking a nasty hit from that diglett.
It seemed Dante would have a hard time finding a target...that was so good at concealing not only their appearance, but their presence. "Dante, get out of there for now, and we'll try to hunt it again in a moment."
Dante didn't like this...one second, he could smell Kecleon, one second he was...moments away from feasting...but then...he couldn't sense Kecleon anymore. Being blind has it's disadvantages. Or maybe being blind would not have helped in this situation. He instead would try to dodge whatever the Kecleon would be planning.

/A Cutiefwah! the Diglett repeated, clearly pleased to have a name to put to the mysterious invader's face. /Excellent! I'm happy to meet you, Mister Cutiefwah! Are you here to steal our nutrients for your Grand Octavarium Leader? I mean.../ here the Diglett would motion to the way in which her opponent was currently shoved in the ground. Given she lacked any visible hands (for now), it involved wiggling her head awkwardly. As if unaware of the urgency behind the battle, she'd remark, /I'm glad out our is good for you as well as me, but we do sort of need it, sooooo.../
Trailing off, she'd launch herself right at the trapped Deneb in a Headbutt; would she land the strike before the cryptid escaped?
Onyxia and Ordo ran towards the unmistakable sound of a voice. She looked at the woman, nodding a little. "Hi, I'm here to rescue you and help you get off the island." She pulled out the homing beacon, ready to give to the woman. "My name is Onyxia. Are you ready to get off this island?" Ordo stood beside Onyxia, giving her a small nudge. Handing the beacon over to the resort worker she bit her lip and nodded. "I know you just want to go home, but do you possibly have a Pokeball or a Potion you don't need? I'd like to heal my teammate or possibly catch another friend for him."
The trill of the Fletchling high above would distract her for only a moment, and then Tiye was on her way. She had seen the Numel, a ugly and hardy creature.
It was not fit to join her group, and since it showed her no interest, the girl had no interest in it. Besides, Aida hadn't stop in her sniffing and had continued onwards.
There was no more time for such a pokemon.
She would continue onwards deeper and deeper into this wasteland.
"How far can one idiot run."
Tiye would start to grumble as the environment was slowly getting to her.

As was becoming a startling norm, Polaris would act without orders. Obviously Sol existed only to admire his handy work at this point.
Still twirling an icicle in his claw, the Sneasel would turn up his nose at the Diglett's words ">BAH! What use is there in being humble? Then nobody can admire how brilliant you are, or rather I am!<" Inhaling in a deliberate, relaxed fashion, Polaris would breath more blue wind, forming icicles in the air. Oh sure his opponent was underground, but they couldn't have gone that far now could they?
Directing the ice with a claw, the Pokemon would bring them down in rapid succession. One by one the icicles would embed themselves deep into the ground; and more importantly they'd form a perfect SD likeness of Polaris himself. With a smirk on his dark face, the artist would actually turn his back on his work, declaring ">No star shall shine brighter~!<"
Perhaps Nim was walking too swiftly through the area however. Speeding along it was only when a shadow fell across her she'd realize that she had walked right into danger. Standing atop a rock, arms crossed and the sun at their back, as a hotblooded youth with nothing to lose. A Tyrogue with a scar under one eye and a cocky smirk. ">So you're the bozo that's been terrorizing this place!<" He called out, rubbing a thumb across his left cheek ">Well now you're facing the real hero of this story!<" Without another word, without any hesitation, the young Fighting-type would leap into the air, and as his feet began to glow black he would cry to the heavens ">FLYING TENSEIKEN!<" It would seem the Pokemon intended to strike Nim directly, and he was going to use Pursuit to do it!

Using it's somewhat advantageous position, the Kecleon would disappear from sight in order to prevent the trainer from calling the alarm. Then slowly, stalking forward as any good hunter knew how to do, the reptile would proceed towards the Deino without making a sound. When the time was right, it would open it's mouth, and from a few feet away release it's tongue, trying to use it like a fist to punch the dragon in the face! Truly an Astonish-ing attack!
The woman scratched the back of her head, tilting her head to one side as she did so "Eh? Been that long already? Man, I coulda gone at least another week..." Abruptly the woman would look over her shoulder to the cliff and shout "IF SOMEONE WOULD GIVE IT A REST!" Apparently Onyxia had by far found one of the hardier members of the staff.
Taking the disc in hand, the woman would look it over for a moment "Mmm...well I've got some unfinished business of my won kid. So how bout this? The world works on give and take" She'd reach into a pocket of her tattered work clothes "Gimme a berry or something else, and I'll give you this Oran Berry. Deal?"
Onyxia took out the Colbur berry she had. "Okay, I should really see you get off the island though." She offered out the berry to the worker. Looking around and giving a small nod. "Maybe I can help you. I help you and if you have Pokeball or we come across a Pokemon I can have it for my team." She gave a friendly smile and extended her hand out. "Deal?"
Her adventure taking her deeper into the shimmer white landscape, Tiye would find herself happening upon a rather curious sight. Perched upon a nest of bones and tumble weeds, was a Vullaby. More importantly a Vullaby with an imperious stare, donning some unfortunate Pokemon's jaw bone upon her head.
">Oh ho? Visitors in the Queen's court?<" She questioned, looking up and down the trainer ">But my, such drab attire! Couldn't find some mud to wallow in? At least then you'd look like the Tepig you are!<" She crowed, lifting one wing towards her face and laughing in arather lady-like fashion.
">Ah, but you DO have a lovely bone structure. Perhaps I'll do your the honor of adding you to the pile<" It almost sounded like a compliment, but it was accompanied by a darkness in her stare. She wasn't just gazing upon them, but attempting to prevent them from leaving with a paralyzing stare...this was a Mean Look!
((16+5)-4)+(9-7) = 19 x 2 = 38 DMG! Diglett is at -24 HP! Polaris gains 91 EXP! 144/75 - > 69/100 EXP! HP:9/17/PP:17/ATK:11/DEF:9 /SPD:12//SP-ATK:7/SP-DEF:10
Apparently, the older Diglett hadn't been quite careful enough. Had he dug deeper into the earth, he might have survive the assault of the fighting narcissist; as it was, several icicles would pierce through the ground and his rocky hide to rend him into large, fleshy pieces. The sight would have been quite gruesome, but fortunately, the Ground-type had the foresight to bury himself. The only hint of Polaris' victory came from the now-still earth and the rivulet of blood that gushed up from the ground, displaced by the force of the ice.

Nim came skidding to a halt as the Tyrogue flung himself at her. What the... why were Pokemon always fighting? Couldn't they just take a nap from time to time? "Eins, just--"
/On it!/ chirped the Mimikyu. While she loved the new take-charge attitude her trainer was taking (even if she didn't know from whence it sprung), Eins was aaaaaaaaaaalready on top of this. Her true face splitting into a wild grin, she crowed back, /And I'm the true villain, little one! But I'll make sure your defeat is glorious~/ With a cry, she swung forward in an X-Scissor strike! She'd intercept that hit!
[7/10]
Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 4 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. Stats: 15/19/PP:20/ATK:14/DEF:10/SPD:13/SP-ATK:10/SP-DEF:14 - Wood Hammer - X-Scissor - Copycat - Curse EXP: 72/125 Pokemon held items: N/A

Gesturing, the Sneasel would smile triumphant ">I dub this art-in-motion....Etude to a Grounded Star/Still Shinning.<" Polaris seemed quite satisfied with that.
Before he could add further grandstanding or commentary however, the Ice-type would find himself drawn back into his ball. Sol was a boy where time meant money, and he wasn't making any so he didn't have the time. Besides this had all...worked out right?
Shrugging, and gesturing to Umbra, the boy would once more proceed forward.
Just like the youth's hot blood would be spilling all over the ground. It wasn't a particular gruesome sight given the usual standard, but the Tyrogue wasn't getting up.
