Ace appeared a small distance away from Rikoi. His eyes seemed a little cold but he wanted to help her as she had asked. "Prepare yourself Rikoi. Remember, for our purposes, I am your enemy, not a friend and nothing more. Ok?" Ace said as he stood watching her. The wind softly blew, throwing up a soft cloud of dirt and Ace's robes flowed freely.

This was all for him. She couldn't have him worrying about her and she didn't want to feel like a burden anymore to him. A brief memory from when she first arrived went through her mind, bringing back old feelings. It was one of Kesa. Even though Rikoi had hated her so much she had always wanted to please her too. She had hated that she wasn't up to Kesa's expectations.
"Don't worry Ace," She said, taking her eyes from off his cloths and up to his eyes. "here I'm supposed to be your enemy too."

"Good, you have the main idea now." Ace threw off his robes and he stood in with a shimmering chest plate, gauntlets, and leggings. His sword at his side. "Shall we begin then?" He knew she decided this to try and make it easier on him, but he couldn't go easier for her if she planned to be a good fighter she would need to practice.

She watched him carefully, not looking at Ace but an enemy. She didn't pull her wings out yet, unless they were absolutely needed they got in the way. As her body grounded itself and she put herself in to position it was obvious to her that she was worse off than she had thought. And a feeling as old as the one she had just remembered grew in her stomach. It wasn't fear and that made it easier to ignore, to push away. That thing wasn't here now. She was on her own. She was as ready as she could be.

Ace began circling Rikoi and his eyes changed to slits seeming to scan for her every weakness. He rested his hand on his sword seeming to strike with his eyes and preparing to come at her with his blade as well.

She darted at him, flicking shuriken into her hands from hidden spots as she ran.

He drew his hand off his sword and it turned to diamond claws as he flew at her and jumped at the last second pulling his knee up to meet her.

She switched a shuriken with a kunai and rammed it into his knee, using the force of both actions to push herself away from him. She rose up into the air and then landed a few yards away.

Ace's knee was diamond as well and just took the shot and shattered. Ace's entire body shattered and the shards flew around and reformed Ace in the air above the fight. "Good but you must remember who I am and try to find a weakness."

Ace's weakness? Well everyone had one... But... What was his? Put on the spot she couldn't even use her past experience with him to think of what any weakness of his might be.

Ace's hand raised and columns of diamond rose from the ground making a fence around the two as he stood on one of the columns. "Times up." He snapped his fingers and a column shattered sending a storm of screaming diamond shards at Rikoi.

She raised her hands and tried to put up a barrier like the one when she fought Ares. It came out and surrounded her, but it was weak and only slowed down the shards enough for her to curl up as to minimize the damage that they caused.

Another column behind her shattered sending millions of shards at her again. "Your going to have to move."

She let out her wings and shot up into the sky, avoiding most of the shards this time. As she rose she turned in the air towards him and shot seven shuriken at him.

He looked up towards her with a blood chilling smirk as his body turned to diamond and the shuriken bounced off of him. He jumped down into the pit of diamond pillars and began to manipulate the pillars making each one shatter and fly into a huge ball of diamond shards over Ace and aimed at Rikoi. Ace jumped up and put his hand on the ball once it had formed and the shards burst forth all of them flying at Rikoi in a huge field. The attack was almost a shotgun affect.
